  1. Many years ago when I was among the many who hung around the DPF chat room I went by the name ddd and later as Dondd. It has never been a secret that my real first name is Don. At some point I was asked "What does ddd stand for?" or "What does the dd stand for?". After considering the first inquiry for a while I offered that the dd was for "does diapers" - therefore "Don does diapers". Somehow it fits!
  2. Nice! Refreshing! And seems much faster too. I can live with this change.
  3. This one is a keeper! Please continue. Thanks! Don
  4. In the past I've used Beaudreaux's (sp?) Butt Paste. Great results but a bit pricey. Now when I have the need I use Walmart's Equate brand Diaper Rash Relief. Effective, yet inexpensive. Don
  5. What she said ^
  6. I think that there might be some minor differences as in maybe the plastic is a little softer. But no, it is the same Depends in a new bag. Don
  7. Please carry on! Thanks!
  8. I once had a similar experience. The zipper pull on my jeans apparently was pointing up and caught the front of my diaper as I pulled up my pants. Unfortunately, I only found out from the ensuing wet spot. Don
  9. And I find that to be a fowl comment! Don
  10. That is how my wife caught me - a receipt. I think that she had suspected for some time. The receipt form WalMart with DEPENDS as the only item purchased was quite damning. I can't begin to tell you how much she is not accepting of my diapers... Don
  11. Thanks! I am truly enjoying your story! Don
  12. And me too. So much for my first affair. Wonder if the wife will take me back now? LOL
  13. Are we talking Prednisone here (oral)? That would explain a few things for me anyway. Two more days and I'm done - this time... Don
  14. Thank you. It was worth the wait. Don
  15. Free nappies? From a company that charges for lav access? Not hardly! But I am sure that they'd be happy to sell you one! I fly diapered fairly often here in the States and I do it because I like to. But this would mean I'd fly diapered because I would need to! Next up - breathing surcharge? Don
  16. I never got to the point where my pee was green but my poop sure was! Over the course of several weeks I was taking 2 - 3 chlorophyll gel caps per day. No other change to my diet which, admittedly, is too light on fruits and vegetables. By the end of the two weeks my bowel movement was noticeably less noticeable! It was not free of a smell by any means, and I certainly would not have been comfortable messing my diaper in a public situation. But the smell was greatly reduced. Something along the lines of a fart that wouldn't go away. I am quite discrete about my diapers and don't poop in public. This experiment just proved to me that I cannot reduce the smell of my poop enough to do so in the future either. Now, maybe if you are fecally incontinent and are looking to minimize the effect of something that you can't help, Nullo or chlorophyll would be good for your purposes. It may even be more effective for you if you have a better diet than mine - less meat, more fruit, veggies, and fiber. I stopped taking them. The improvement in smell was not enough to justify carrying that huge bottle of chlorophyll around and I really didn't want to explain that bottle to my wife who really doesn't approve of my diapers at all. Don
  17. It disheartens me to see such great and honest effort met with the kind of self-interested criticism presented by peelover. Musicbaby, please continue your story and know that some of us truly appreciate the hard work you put into it. Thanks! Don
  18. Ah! There is a reasonable explanation. Thanks for taking the time to clarify that. Don
  19. Am I missing something here? Member 20 thousand something is (was) waiting to celebrate the arrival of the 10,000th member? It is a nice gesture but I don't understand the numbers. Must be the new math... Can someone explain? Thanks! Oh. And congrats to member 10,000.
  20. Consider, if you will... A counselor can and will provide confidentiality. However, their responsibilities extend to the employer who in this case is a law enforcement organization. While I doubt that a professional would go back to the employer and report that the patient wears diapers they could very well report back, without fear of breaching confidentiality, that there are issues involved that could affect job performance. That is the risk you take by discussing such matters with this counselor. Of course, the laws and procedures may vary from location to location but you'll likely find this to be the case in most of the US. Maybe not a problem but food for thought. Don
  21. Not my cup of tea but neither is judging others. You are not alone - h++p://carefet.co.uk Don
  22. Eyes to the Skies here in Lisle, IL - we walk there from here and don't have to deal with the nasty Naperville traffic!
  23. Thanks for the reply! Looks like I've got something new to try...
  24. Glad to hear that your latest banana experience was a more positive one. Freezing them eases insertion? Or did I miss the point? Getting them in is the frustrating part of the process. Out is much easier! But isn't that very cold banana going to cause some uncomfortable feelings in a warm and dark place?
