    I was in a accident early Friday morning I had a 2010 Chevrolet cobalt it had a rebuilt title but I was told it was repaired correctly.. I went off the road and couldn't regain control and I ended up going into a guardrail and none of the air bags in the car deployed.. My big concern is the car should of flipped and then rolled down a embankment but it didn't but if it had I would of needed the airbags..       Sorry to hear about your accident. There are a few things that could have caused the airbags not to deploy even if the car was rebuilt correctly though. It's my understanding that newer cars are designed so that airbags won't deploy unless specific conditions are met. Weight of the occupant could prevent them from deploying in certain situations, as could the speed at which you made impact with the guardrail. Sometimes the two are even tied together.
