  1. Your feelings about Fox News aside....I did check....and it's real.....
  2. I just came across a Covid Restriction Mandate that I can finally get behind....... The problem is, if applied to the general population....it would make getting diapers as difficult as it was getting personal protective equipment (masks, gloves). Those of you with large stashes would make out well....... Maybe we can start a grassroots mandate and push it though our respective authoritarian bodies. https://www.foxbusiness.com/economy/china-tells-cabin-crew-to-wear-diapers-on-risky-covid-flights Maybe the general public would finally be sensitized to how terrible standard pharmacy disposable diapers actually are. Now before you flame me.......I'm kidding.......but you have to admit it's an interesting development.
  3. Why does it ask for an email account......and password?
  4. Stork.....I have some of the Rearz Rubber Pants and am also happy with them. They do provide a great deal of support for me and a very good leak seal around the legs. I also fold the top over the diaper I'm wearing and this helps slow, but does not stop, leaks at night. K Huck and wife have a nice video review of those pants. At his suggestions I ordered some new ones from Amazon and they are holding up much better than my previous pairs. I don't know if they've changed anything...but I've used them a lot and they have not ripped.
  5. Actually....silicone (certain mixtures) can stretch more than rubber. Take a look at the video's included in the website. And yes, they are meant to be used in the water..... As for reinventing the wheel....well things can be improved.....surely you know the Patent Office story.
  6. I has scanning Amazon and came across this. https://www.amazon.com/TrustyTrunks-Leakprooof-Waterproof-Reusable-Diarrhea/dp/B0842D8Y1S It's a child's "plastic" pant...but very interesting. Too bad they don't make these in adult sizes.....
  7. Adam....I hope the diaper cover will be vinyl.
  8. We had access to Playtex Rubber Pants and one other I never knew the name of...... My mom was able to purchase Platex rubber pants up until I was 6 years old. The age posed in my profile isn't quite right....so I did have a not of exposure to rubber and plastic pants.....
  9. I enjoy the "Love in Brief" podcasts
  10. I have a few different pairs several of which do have elastic sewn into the waist. But my Rearz rubber pants are just latex and do fold over. It worked out quite well this morning.
  11. Well, since I heard that, I've tried to find instances of folks doing that. That's obviously hard when you can't just come out and ask folks and have to search the web. But as I remember back, I do remembering my grandmother doing that to the waist band, but not my mom. As for the Rearz rubber pants....you indeed can not do that to the legs, but they seal so well it seems unnecessary. However, you can very easily do it at the waist. In fact, if I don't do that, the rubber pants have a tendency to "roll" down my tummy. Since this morning when I started this, the pants have stayed tucked around the diaper....and seem the process seems to hold the rubber pants up and tighter both things I find useful. I have a pair of dipped, latex rubber pants with legs that do extend down and would like to try this with those pants. Problem is they are fragile, and old, and since I have no idea where I got them from, I couldn't replace them. As for the PPE....we stopped because no group was taking orders.....we call it "Covid Fatigue"...now if a second wave does strike our area it will be all hands on board and we will be off to a flying start as apposed to have to do a lot of research and ordering. We are mantaining stockpiles of supplies, and a good amount of finished product. But we only have so much space.
  12. I work with a large community group that has been making personal protective equipment for hospitals, nursing homes and schools. We make masks, shields and other stuff. There is a group of folks who make masks by sewing materials we cut on fabric machines and such. They had been working almost 10 hr a day for 6 to 7 days a week from late March to the end of July. Then demand fell off and they had little to do. They were so used to working together that they cast about for ideas of things to make and came up with diapers and diaper covers for children with issues who were too big for baby items. They did that for about a month and a half and filled many orders, then that dropped off. I REALLY wanted to suggest that they transition to ADULT cloth diapers and plastic pants. But this group is quite conservative and very chatty....and I figured far too many prying questions would be asked and there would not be much discretion. But I was in their work room on Saturday when they were brain storming ideas. I was working to fix one of the commercial sewing machines and was in the corner and out of sight pretty much. These are let's say, very mature women mostly for the most part, and one women had her mother (in her 80s) there. They did discuss making adult items, and passed on it..... much to my dismay. But they got to talking about diapers, rubber and plastic pants and, of course disposable diapers and how the spectrum was covered by all present. The general impression was that disposables were convenient, but not great for the environment. And that cloth diapers were the best for keeping baby dry. The conversation meandered around to rubber versus plastic pants.....and I found it a very interesting discussion. One women said, "I just don't know why they made rubber pants so tall, they went past my baby's belly button, I usually trimmed them down with scissors." The 80 year old said, "Oh Dear....you shouldn't have done that, they were that way for a reason. You were supposed to fold the rubber back over the top of the diaper and tuck it next to the skin. That way when they wet in bed, the wet would move to the waist, and be held in by the rubber that went over top of the diaper. You should have done the same thing for the legs". Most of the older women seemed unaware of this. I know I was. So, today, I am trying it with a pair of Rearz Rubber pants over cloth diapers. So far after an extended "wet' nap...no leak out the waist which is where I usually have problems.
  13. My family has been gone to in-laws since Monday. I decided to dare myself to try "24/7" during that time frame. I would not, however wear when working but that was only two days that week. This still resulted in a lot of diaper time and many wet diapers. One gets used to just "letting go" and wetting your diaper. I have to admit....I really enjoy that feeling as I start to wet and the diaper begins to take it all in. It got to a point where i would notice I had to go, and if I just stood still for a moment.....it flowed....uncontrollably.... Wonderful sensation. Then today...the process of cleaning up and repacking everything. And...back into big boy pants. Sigh..... Then, I was at the sink.. hand washing dishes....water running and I felt the urge. Without thinking....I relaxed, stood still and ........"OH SHIT"..... I wasn't wearing a diaper. There i was with water running, drying a big bowl.....no way to grab anything. I immediately clamped down....which actually HURT...felt several spasms....and managed to stop things. But not before I had wet my underwear and created a spot on my shorts. Well, after clean up, and using the toilet (sigh) I resumed washing dishes......since I have been hydrating a lot during this time....I kept having urges to pee during the morning. Every time I would try to hold it to get to the bathroom....it would kind of hurt again. Anyone else experience this kind of thing?
  14. Yeah, i love the consistency of Gary Leakmaster Deluxe Plastic Pants....plastic is always smooth....and heavy duty. I loved Salk Sani-Pants.....but again, sometimes the plastic was thick and smooth and sometimes more textured based. One seller JKPPP back in the old days said that they included texture when the rollers that rolled out the hot plastic got degraded. Internet, good, consistent quality reusable incontinence products, ABDL centered disposable diapers......forums.....yeah thngs have changed.
  15. Tell you what......trace back the link on Fetlife if you belong and thank the nice lady herself! It took a lot of nerve to submit that as a class assignment. Wonder what feedback she got from the instructor....or anyone who got to see it.
  16. In all the searching for things ABDL related on the net....I came across this in Fetlife. Written by a much younger female ABDL.....but strongly resonated with me. I could have easily written the first few paragraphs.....and undoubtedly.....many others of us could as well. I was just so impressed that she submitted as a paper to a college class...... Never could I have done that. https://fetlife.com/users/106044/posts/2870995#comment_comment
  17. I've been in a ABDL chat room with folks from a different area. Very nice folks. There were some older folks (like me) in the room and we started a discussion of the limited number of sources for ABDL related diapers, clothing and information there were in "our" time. One person reminded me of one of the great finds I did make during that time and they were in the Sears HealthCare Catalog. I can't emphasize the incredible impact they had on my life....finally, I could find the things I loved..... But also started my binge and purge cycles. Seemed like I couldn't win. I've added two pictures..... Anyone else impacted by this or the "MonkeyWard" catalog entries for Incontinence Supplies? I
  18. My wife is very pro-green, pro environment... when we had our first kid she vowed to use cloth diapers and plastic pants. We got the diapers....pre-treated them like you're supposed to so as to ensure maximum absorbancy.... and went to a great deal of trouble to find plastic pants. Got the diaper pails, learned the procedures...she "schooled me" in the process That all lasted about 5 weeks....which included a visit to her parents.....before, .........."That's enough...we are going to disposables!!!" Her mother gave her heck...but didn't matter. So I ended up with about 3 dozen car, workshop, painting rags. Hated to see the plastic pants go.....
  19. This popped up on my Facebook feed a day or two ago as a link from a friend...someone I'm sure is not into our scene. Since I was raised on diapers and real rubber pants...it resonated with me. I also found many of the comments very interesting....
  20. It's really amazing how some things can evoke such strong forgotten memories. A couple of days ago I was browsing a website with older pictures and references. I saw a picture of a young kid watching an old black and white TV. Beside him were two much younger kids laying down also watching TV. But both of those kids had on very thick puffy diapers and old plastic pants. It was obvious they were just watching Saturday cartoons just as I did as a kid. That night I had a very vivid dream that brought back crystal clear visions of something that used to happen to me as a kid. Basically, early Sat mornings, while still in jammies, I'd grab a blanket and walk down to another families house in our neighborhood. That family had 5 girls, all blond, with that Scandinavian beauty. I'd ( I was between 2 to 3) mix in with them (ages 2 to 12) on the couch and we'd watch our favorite cartoon shows. About 11...their mother would come in and remind me to go home to get ready for the day. A great welcoming family. Well, as some point, a commercial for a "baby doll that wet and you could change her diapers" came on and the girls all got interested. The two year old was just out of day diapers and they had plenty. One of the girls suggested we all play "baby".....with me....being the baby. My DL tendencies were already going strong so while I put up a fuss....it happened. The first time they diapered me (in cloth and mix of rubber and plastic pants), their mom came in. Instead of being upset, she kind of smiled and got into the scheme of things. She said she was worried they would stick me with the diaper pins so she showed them how to do it correctly.... It was sort of surreal....she took her time and showed the older ones how to do it right. I ended up diapered and would sit there watching cartoons for the rest of the morning diapered with just a tee shirt. I never wet...even though I was encouraged to....but was subjected to many diaper checks and changes..and had to take a "bottle"...a baby doll bottle. At 11, their mother would come back in and matter of factly take my diapers off and and get me back in my jammies before sending me home. This went on for several months......and then they found something else that captured their fancy and it just stopped. I still went there to watch cartoons, but no diapers. I never said anything , but was pretty disappointed. I think part of it was the oldest girl was beginning to hit puberty with it's impact on curiosity of male physiology and the mother decided it wasn't healthy and just suggested it stop. About months later we moved to a different part of the city and I lost contact with them. We (the ones in the right age range) reunited again in the single high school in out town and I saw them somewhat often in the halls. They all grew into very attractive women. We never discussed those Saturdays, or to my regret dated. But one time I was at a girls locker trying to chat her up when one of them approached us...smilled, and told the girl she should ask about our "Saturday Mornings" since I seemed to enjoy them so much. I of course turned red and avoided all the teasing conversation to get me to talk. Never brought up again. Don't know if she found out or not....she never said anything or brought it up as we dated for a few months. That one picture started a very vivid dream based on memories. When I woke up, more memories came up, I remember how cute the girls and mother were, certain cartoons that played, the feeling of the diaper, the fantastic feel of the smooth rubber pants, being cuddled and patted on the head. All very clear memories.
  21. Definitely DL , and I only wet.
  22. They have posted a new video so I guess all is well....
  23. Just look on Youtube....search for K Huck diapers review....you'll find their channel.....
  24. I routinely follow Kevin and his wife Ally on their Youtube channel. Kevin is incontinent and wears 24/7. They do a great job of reviewing various kinds of disposable and cloth diapers. And post the reviews on there channel at least once a week. I've been noticing that they have not posted in over a month and am wondering if they are OK. Does anyone in the community know them and know anything about their status?
