  1. I actually have a stomach flu right now and all the sort of issues you might expect. I had that sudden urge to go you get when you've got diarrhea and just said "screw it". Uhhg I don't even really want to talk about it in detail as you might be able to tell. Not for me at all.
  2. I might be alone in this but I like both. I like cloth in particular because it allows me to easily wear something without feeling like I have to use it or it's a waste. I've come to like peeing more but still just like the act of wearing a diaper more than anything and cloth allows a lot more freedom in that respect.
  3. I can certainly identify with this and my first forays into another ABDL community before I came here kind of reinforced a lot of those opinions unfortunatly. I'm really glad I didn't let it totally put me off because I have a lot of fun reading, posting, and interacting on this site. Hell I even did some fanart for a member's story. As someone who defines themselves by their creative output there's hardly any greater praise I can offer something than giving me artistic inspiration.
  4. As I recreational user who barely goes through any diapers I'd be willing to try them for sure even knowing they're pretty much the same as the New Bambinos. The problem there is, you just can't. No way was I going to pre-order and who knows when they'll actually maintain stock of them.
  5. Just to reiterate what I said before, don't count out plastic pants if you wear disposables. The piece of mind alone is worth it and if they're somewhat tight fitting they also offer a lot of additional support. I sometimes still go without the ultra-flex pants I got from fetware but I feel so much more at ease and comfortable with them on.
  6. I don't think that's weird. That's pretty standard for any sort of contest. The wording might be a bit awkward but that's about it.
  7. Yay Dan Savage. I generally agree with everything he has to say about sex and relationships.
  8. Kind of all over the place as well but averages out to 2-3 times a week probably. Usually it's at night but sometimes mid-afternoon as well if I'm just hanging out all day at home alone.
  9. Samples are a good way to go if you can. I have had great experiences with ordering samples and bad experiences with ordering whole bags blind. Right now I have a whole bunch of stuff I don't really want because of the later.
  10. Hmm... I figure I pull the tapes pretty tight but must have a lighter hand than I thought since I have never once had that problem cloth-backed or plastic-backed. Tapes coming un-stuck yes, tapes ripping off the sides no.
  11. So, it's taken me until today to actually try this out. 1) up, for me at least, is far far more comfortable. 2) I do have to be more careful in order to avoid leaks and peeing while laying down isn't a good idea. While standing or sitting seems to work fine. 1 makes 2 well worth it. I'm not wearing plastic pants atm but that would reduce the minor effects of 2 even more. This is just my experience and in this case it's a Bambino Teddy being worn. A higher rise diaper might work better for pointing up.
  12. Hear, hear. Totally agree. That's my general take as well. All people have different situations but I'd err more towards not telling anyone than telling people, not because you should hide it or be ashamed but simply because there's no point. No upside and it's not really fair to whoever you're telling in a lot of cases. That's something a lot of people never consider. Often telling a secret to someone is a selfish act on the secret teller's part.
  13. It might just be me but I like things that aren't socially acceptable. That's part of why I like them. I mean I don't want to be associated with pedophiles but I also don't mind being weird at all. I don't always want to be accepted. That makes life boring.
  14. Yeah I was actually wearing an Attends Extended Wear last night, one of two samples I ordered, and I don't like cloth-backed for that exact reason. They never feel tight and counterintuitively they also feel a lot "cheaper". I feel like I'm wearing paper towels.
  15. Yeah unless you're choosing to make it a lifestyle thing, such as being diapered 24/7 and in public, it's not really a "coming out" sort of thing imo. It's akin to telling your parents what kind of oral sex you like. It's just kind of weird, awkward, and not necessary. If you ever listen to Dan Savage's podcast Savage Love it's basically what he says and I agree with him. He's really really good about not being judgmental about anything. There's even an episode where a girl calls in who has a diaper fetish. There's also a great more involved discussion Dan has with a woman who's married to a man with a pie-fetish. Both the woman and Dan are so amazing in how accepting and practical they are about it. The woman if I recall was just trying to get advice on how to be able to do it more often since it's such a messy thing it's a pain to set up and clean up. lovelylittle: you're lucky to have gotten over the shame so young. I have been interested in diapers for as long as I can remember. An age of 6 or so at least, and I'm 30 now. I only in the last year or two have totally gotten over it.
  16. lovelylittle: Yeah that tends to be what I do but I also like to have a variety to choose from so I'm always fighting to keep the numbers down.
  17. I started out pointing up all the time but after a leak with an Abena X-Plus I started pointing down. I'm starting to think I should go back to up. Down isn't painful but it is uncomfortable and puts a damper on my enjoyment in being diapered. I don't really have the erection problem and I've also found that on me Abenas tend to leak regardless of direction. I also tend to always wear urethane pants now which drastically reduces any chance of leaks. Going to try it again for the first time in over a year tonight. Will report on findings.
  18. Sounds like they're kind of the same as the Molicare Super but with a full cloth backing and velcro instead of sticky-backed tapes. Molicare has a pretty large range, any idea where you can order that full range in the states? The best I know if is XP who sell the Super, Super Plus, and the Protection Plus pullups.
  19. I'm not a huge fan. I posted my thoughts in them in a review thread somewhere on here but even I have no idea what forum and what page to find that post on. Anyway, they're okay. My two big gripes are the seat of them doesn't cover well, and I don't have a big arse. And there's a lot of sap particles stuck to the outer plastic from the inside which makes the outside of the diaper feel kinda like it has sand stuck to it. That happens a little with some other brands but not the the same extent as on the Wellness that I got. They do hold a fair amount but nothing like the claims of the manufacturer. I'd put them somewhere around the same as an ATN. Unless you're dehydrated I don't see them lasting eight hours.
  20. Which type of Molicares of the velcro? Here in the states it seems hard to find anything but the Super Plus.
  21. I'm about 6' 145lb. and some mediums like Abenas are verging on too big for me and the medium Dry 24/7 as often stated is way too big. The new Bambino is by far the best fit medium I have tried for my size and body.
  22. I do often wonder how much my parents know. It never happened when I was a teen but when I was pre-teen my parents caught me hiding pads a couple of times. I have to imagine though they just thought that was a kid doing the weird exploratory stuff kids do. I barely remember how I started down this road I only vaguely remember it was a friend who introduced me to taking my mom's pads when I was in maybe first grade which is kinda weird in retrospect. I wish I could remember more of the details. I'm sure my sister would think it's awesome as we both want each other to be as not-whitebread as possible. We often comment on how we wish each other where gay (neither of us are) just for some variety in our family. That said I'm sure my sister would tell her husband which he'd be nice about it but he also lead a pretty sheltered life and would probably be weirded out by me from that point onward. It's not something I often think about though. If I want to talk to someone about it I can come on here, I never have that "I gotta tell someone" urge but it is interesting to discuss in theoreticals.
  23. I don't have loads of room, I just have a pair of footlockers. I have about 65 diapers right now. I have: - 15 Dry 24/7 - 14 Unique Wellness - 12 Abena X-Plus - 7 Bambino Classico - 6 Molicare Super Plus - 6 Tranquility ATN - 1 Attends Extended Wear - 1 Bambino Teddy - 1 Bambino New Diaper - 1 Molicare Super - 1 Active Ultra What sucks is that I really don't love the Dry 24/7s, Unique Wellness, or Abena X-Plus. So 41 of the 65 I have are diapers I don't really care for and I can only reasonably store maybe 100 or so. I want to order more Bambino New Diapers, Active Ultras, and Molicare Super Plus but if I order them all from Bambino that ends up being an additional 68 diapers. I also want to order some boosters which end up taking up a lot of room. Oh well. I could have worse problems Actually, I just re-organized and the count I have been keeping was a bit off so it's not so bad. I have more like 37 I'm not a huge fan of out of a total of 57. I also seem to be able to fit between 50-60 diapers in each foot locker so looks like my previous guess of about 100 is right but I also have room for about 8 more than I thought I did. I'll try to burn through some of the less desirable before my next order and I should be sitting pretty.
  24. I didn't want to start a new thread as I have a related question and this seems to be a good place to put it. So I get... something... if I am diapered too much. And by too much, I don't mean a lot by anyone's definition. I mean wearing one diaper three nights in a row for maybe 3-5 hours each night. What happens doesn't sound like any of the three things described by babykeiff. Basically my skin just becomes more sensitive. It doesn't look any different. It doesn't get red or have any spots or anything like that. It doesn't hurt unless I'm sitting too long or wearing too tight jeans and even then it's only a mild irritation, but still an irritation all the same. I'd like to avoid it but am not even sure what's causing it or what it is. I have tried baby powder and diaper rash cream and have no idea if either have worked since I only ever start trying to use either after the problem has arisen and at that point I end up not using and diapers for a few days. So I don't know if it's just not wearing anything that fixes it or using the powder or cream. Maybe I just need to experiment more. I think I just have very very sensitive skin. Now that I think of it I can only shave every 2-3 days because shaving causes a similar reaction.
  25. I would offer that they do seem to wick a bit better than average. The Molicare Super Plus still seems the clear winner wicking wise, but the New Diaper is closer to the Molicare in that respect than the other Bambinos are.
