  1. I know right? I click on a forum and I see more than half the threads on the first page have me as the last post and think to myself "uuhg". I can't help it. Somewhere along the line I got trained to treat BBS's and web forums like real time chat so I tend to post a lot on any forum I visit.
  2. I think being able to grow a big bushy beard is a lie we're told as male children. I know more people that can't grow a proper beard than those that can. I can grow a pretty mean mustache, goatee, and sideburns but anything on my cheeks is pretty dodgy.
  3. I think it's just that young people try out a lot more things. It's the same reason you don't see a lot of 40 year old men walking around in fishnet and eyeliner. I mean, that does actually happen, but it's less common. I know for me personally I'd still dress outlandishly if it didn't also come with a cartload of social difficulties. I guess that's another part of it. The younger you are the easier it is to not fit in. The older you get not fitting in increasingly can hamper your ability to support yourself and survive. Even as someone with a job in the arts I can only "get away with" so much.
  4. This is my topic we can get off topic if we like I needed braces, but that was more because I had a too-big-teeth and too-small-mouth problem. I sucked my thumb well into elementary school though as well as carried around a blanket which by the time I got rid of it was just a mass of fabric scraps with knots holding to together. I'm amazed I didn't really have any dental issues as a result. I just had a sort of weird crooked thumb for awhile that eventually straightened itself out. It's odd that I have zero interest in AB stuff given that aspect of my childhood. I guess part of it is my complete lack of nostalgia about anything. For me whatever my life currently is always seems like the best it's ever been so looking back on the past and dwelling on it is mildly depressing or embarrassing at best. About the only thing I do like looking back on is my artwork because I like to see how far I have come in skill.
  5. I was a thumbsucker as a kid. Never had a pacifier. I actually had kinda screwed up thumbs from it for awhile when I was young.
  6. Hah, I was really sick recently and I was going through those Apple Cider K-Cups like crazy.
  7. Living in the FLA Pumpkins usually only last a couple of days once carved. Much like live x-mas trees I've long since given up on them even though I love it. It's just a bummer to see them all caved in and rotting after only a few days out on the porch.
  8. Do you smoke a pipe and wear a tweed jacket with leather elbow patches?
  9. Years over ordering most of what I buy over the internet and a lot of it being international has made me better at waiting, but I still ain't good at it. I'll often pay the higher price for Molicare Super Pluses from Northshore via Amazon because I have a Prime membership and can get them with free 2-day shipping or if I'm really impatient pay $3.99 for next day shipping. Back on topic though, not wearing anything right now, but the plan for tonight is to try out a medium Dry 24/7 again. I'm determined to make this work. I'm thinking maybe some pre-stertching of the plastic and some use of white duck tape lower on the side panels may stop the always leaking from the legs problem.
  10. I actually like forums where there's literally just one forum but for anything larger than like 10-20 people that's kind of unrealistic. With a place like this there's also a wide range of different needs and interests that don't necessarily overlap and it's nice that they're separated out. I personally am not really into the AB stuff so it's nice that there's separate forums for that. Makes it easier to find topics I want to involve myself in. I do kinda wish the story forum was separated out like that or that people where better about using tags so it was easier to avoid the AB stories. I do agree though that a few could be combined. For example, I don't get the Lifestyle forum. It seems like the DL, AK, RainbowD, In and Out, Baby Fur, and Mom&Dad forums are all "Lifestyle" forums but for some reason only the AB, Sissy, and Stinky sub-sub-forums are under the Lifestyle sub-forum. Also on a lot of forums I go to there's a sort of Welcome/General info sub-forum with things like Newbie Nursery, Chat Room Info, [DD] Survey 2011, and Links and Announcements all being sub-forums to that forum. Nothing needs to change, just discussing things, really I just wanted to exclaim that I never even noticed there was a general discussion forum like this. I'm betting this forum is a bit more active than the others? I was wondering why on a community so large a lot of the forums I was posting in seemed so slow.
  11. Not a real complaint. I just have been posting here for awhile and just now even noticed that this forum was here.
  12. Oh man, that got a serious chuckle out of me.
  13. Why did I expect a picture of Professor Farnsworth?
  14. Just ran across this and while there is some of that rudeness and judgmental attitude here it's well bellow average for various web communities I have been involved in over my 20-ish years on the internet. It's also way way less hostile and judgmental here than another ABDL site I used to post on. I regard myself as pretty thick skinned, I can easily just ignore things, but even for me I was always second guessing making a post for fear of unexpected anger and aggression so I get where the original poster and some of the other replies are coming from. Even with people you know face to face things aren't always butterflies and roses. Any sizable web community I would say has more negativity floating around because of the size more than it being the internet. Anyway, it's just something you have to get used to and also decide what's an acceptable amount of negative to the positive. For me one out of ten or even one out of twenty posts here are something I feel is hostile or nasty. That's a pretty good batting average.
  15. Maybe not the right person to answer but I do have a beard sometimes. Mostly I just hate shaving. I'm not a AB though so it's never really an issue.
  16. Well that's a different question but I think the answer from me would still be: "whichever you like best".
  17. The plastic is very translucent as well, which is why they're a bit peachy as the peachy insides show through. This also means that the sides really show through your skin which I don't love myself. The Molicares Super and Super Plus are both much better made imo, but the ATNs aren't bad and certainly a whole lot better than any store brand.
  18. Well I meant the "New Diaper" from Bambino which fits a bit smaller than the Teddy.
  19. How does Drycare themselves ship? I liked to have tracking on my orders so I can be here when they show up even if I do live alone. I'm considering ordering a bag of smalls directly from them since they seem the only ones who sell the smalls.
  20. I swear the newer M4s are thinner than they used to be and that the Molicares are very slightly thicker. If there is any difference though it's a minor one.
  21. Generally in the US you only see the Super Plus but a few places, like XP Medical, also sell the Supers which are a fair bit cheaper. XPs prices are pretty reasonable. You mention Bambino, other than the waistband, the Molicare Super Plus fits pretty similarly to the Bambino in my experience. http://www.xpmedical.com/molicare.html For Medium it's $78.95 for the Super Plus and $97.95 for the Super. But with the Super a case is for 90 not 56. So the Super Plus end up being $1.41ea. and the Supers $1.09ea.
  22. How do they compare to the new Bambinos? Not sure if you tried those as well.
  23. Molicare for me but it's totally a personal preference thing. I like ATNs too but: - I really like the soft flexible plastic on Molicares. Nothing else I have run across is like it. - I like the purple. It's one of my two favorite colors. - The thickness is about ideal for me. Just thick enough to satisfy the fetishistic aspect of my need but also not too thick to be hard to move around in. - They wick, better than anything else I have ever tried. JBonn I think you're talking about absorption speed not wicking. At least in my conception of the term. - They just fit me well. I like the low rise. ATNs have some similarity in particular in fit. The ATNs are much higher in SAP and much louder which can be a plus or minus. Because of the higher SAP content they're thinner. The Molicare Super, not the Super Plus, is very similar to the ATN in terms of the absorbent material. Finally as first said, it's a personal preference thing. Both the Molicare Super Plus and Tranquility ATN are well made unlike Prevail. I posted my thoughts on a bunch of brands awhile back in this thread: http://www.dailydiapers.com/board/index.php?showtopic=29787&hl=&fromsearch=1
  24. Yeah I have very limited storage and limited need as well as an interest in variety so I like to be able to order small batches. I wish they would sell by the bag simply so I could order more variety. I'd still order the same amount 2-4 bags but instead of 1-2 types I'd order 2-4. Like this last time instead of ordering just the New and Active Ultra I probably would have ordered New, Active Ultra, Teddy, and Molicare.
