Well this may sound a little strange, but it here it goes.

Last night I went to buy more diapers and didn't get any funny looks or snide comments from the cashier.

I don't know why everyone keeps putting these down as bad diapers.(Depend Maximum Protection)

Thank you for you advice. I would like to know what your method of disposal is while at home? When your out and about with your family and you have to change, what do you use to have diapers on hand to change in to?

I was just wondering what ya'll think about this. Can you use Too much powder when changing you diapers; if so, what problems can be caused? Does you diaper leave any red marks around you legs? I have noticed when changing my diaper I have a red mark around the top of my leg and don't know why it is happening. I have moved the bottom tape on that side a little further up than usual and even not put that one as tight as usual, still have the red mark.

I had though about trying to sit down and talk to my mother about me wearing diapers. That I don't want to be babied, being bottle fed, suck a pacifier or have her change my diapers when they need it. That I just feel like wearing diapers sometimes and that I really don't have a reason why. All I want is the freedom to wear them when I want to, even if that includes letting her know that I am wearing a diaper. Well after reading numerous discussion about this topic and seeing what others had to think, I decided against telling her. I figured I would come out and tell her everything if: A) She finds my stash, AGAIN, and demands answers for why I have them, or b: Lo and behold she catches me actually wearing on and sure enough demanding answers on why I am doing this. I would like to know what ya'll think about this!

I agree! I like a tight fit becuae when I put on my pants they muffle the crinkly sound out.

honestly when i wore the Depend "Max" it held way more than the pull up. about four hours after changing into the diaper i just flooded it with more than i did that morning with the pull up on and it held up great. In fact it might have even held another wetting but i didn't want to take that chance, the front was already 90% wet and it had filled up between my legs.

I can agree with this. Today was the first time I wore diapers to work. No one noticed and I even had to change 3 times. No one noticed me taking my laptop now/diaper bag to the restroom. I also discovered that if you can get you disposable diaper on snug enough and where jeans there is the faintest sound of a crinkling from the diaper. I stood and talked to a co-worker for 30 mins and she never even hinted that if looked like I was wearing a diaper, and later in the night I went to get someting to eat after work and talked to one of my friends for about 15 mins and he didn't notice either. I now have newfound confidence about not only wearing diapes in public, but disposable diapers at that.

Well i started my all day in diapers last night when I got off work. with my mother gone until midday sunday i decided that i was going to go the whole weekend diapered. I went through one diaper last night and this morning I woke up dry but somewhere between get out of bed and sitting down to eat breakfast I just soaked the diaper without even knowing it. after getting my shower I put on a depend refastenable underwear so it would be discreet where my co-worker would know i wore a diaper to work. I wet that diaper around noon today and had it leak, "Just Perfect", so now here I am in a wet diaper and a wet spot on my pants. I decide to change into my Depend "Maximum" Diapers, I just soaked it worse that earlier and it held up. so i am back in another diaper needing to try and make this one last 4 more hours. I have actually enjoyed being in the diapers all day because i have just wet my diapers and continued working until I could stop long enough to go to the restroom to change.

thank you for your input. yes the Depend Refastenalble underwear are very descreet, my co-worker didn't even know I was wearing a diaper. as far the disposal issues, I didn't think about that until it was too late, I am already at work and the refastenable underwear I am wearing leaked so know i have a wet spot on my pants with no clean ones to change into. It also looks like I as going to have to change into the Depend "Maximum" just to avoid another leakage. Looks like the actual Diaper is the only thing that is going to work for me, and I only brought 2 in case I absolutely needed them.

well after reading all the posts, ya'll have talked me into it. I don't do it ofter but as of right now i have removed my shorts and will wear nothing but a diaper and t-shirt to bed.

something that I just found out tonight is that when I don't wear a diaper I have got a really bad itch around my butt that bothers me all night. Since i have been wearing a diaper for the first time in a while, I no longer have the itch bothering me. makes me wonder if I need to wear diapers for now on to stop it?

Depends Max Protection with tabs.

I was wondering if anyone wore diapers to work? If so what kind do you wear? If you have did anyone find out you were wearing a diaper? I have thought about it and have bought two different kinds of diapers, Depends Maximum Protection with the tapes and Depend Refastenable Underwear. I haven't decided if I am going to take that chance yet.

I voted 7-10 because when I was 8 I had messed my underwear and tried to hide it from my mom, but she found out. she made me get in the tub and while I was in there her and my dad to punish me by making me wear diapers again. also to make the punishment worse I was not allowed to wear pants over my diapers. I was told that there was still a 1/2 pack of Pampers left from when I was little so since it was spring break I was to use the diapers like a baby and would be changed like a baby to teach me a lesson. now something that was told to me until the next day was that, other than eating baby food, I was going to treated like a baby the whole week. that included drinking from a bottle, sucking a pacifier, riding in a car seat and having to be pushed in a stroller. Oh, i still was not allowed to wear pants, so my diaper was in full view for anyone to see if we went to the store. by the time school started back a lot of people, who knew me, had saw me that week and i was "BABY" the rest of the school year. also, due to having to wear diapers that week and act like a baby, i had to wear pull-ups the rest of the school year due to loosing control of my bladder. I was pants numerous times so people could see my pull-ups, but everyone called them diapers. i guess that's why I have become quite fond of wearing diapers. even though it was embarrasing to be pushed in a stroller and ride in a car seat with my diaper for all to see, it was nice not having a care in the world.

for the most part I try not to look at the cashier, which I guess is a dead give away that I'm buying for myself. the last two times have been total opposites. the time before last i didn't realize i had put on my last diaper the night before, and when I woke up the next morning like i always do i soaked the diaper about 10 min after getting out of bed. after eating my breakfast i went to get another diaper and then realized i had none. so i had to go to the store wearing my very wet diaper to buy some more. I had to wait for the cashier to come to the register since I was one of the first customers in the door. I tried not to act nervous but the look she gave me told me that she some how knows these are for me. after she gave me my change she quietly told me that she would escort me to the back where the restrooms are if I want her to. I looked at her with a puzzled look on my face, it was then that she told me that my diaper that I was wearing has leaked all over my pants. I just got beet red and got the heck out there. this last time I went to get more diapers and the self checkouts were full and as I was heading down to the other ones a cashier asked if I was ready and I told her yeah, not thinking. she was a pretty cashier too, but she never asked if they were for my or even gave me that look. she just smiled gave my reciept and bagged the diapers up and said have a nice night.

I am currently wearing the Depend Protection with Tabs. While walking around inside the house the noise is considerably loud. I had to go outside to my truck and noticed that the noice was drowned out almost completely. I could bearly here them and I was the one wearing them and new what to listen for.

I am currently wearing these now and they are the same as they were in the other package. The packaging was the only thing that changed.
