  1. That was really nice; surprisingly sweet for you: I was sure that the twist would be that being “normal” still left him lonely because of his social awkwardness.
  2. Good to have an independent assessment of the condition of Ian’s backside! Good also to see at least some of the sorority showing an appreciation of genuine sisterhood too. I wonder whether anyone or anything can get Spats to follow a less antisocial path? I suppose he’s riding a tiger that’s hard to get down from, but you never know.
  3. So sorry to hear that. I hope all goes well on Friday. Thank you for posting this, we can wait (or subscribe on Ream 😉)
  4. One of the best chapters so far in one of my favourite stories! I am definitely looking forward to seeing how Tippi reacts to the proposed deal…
  5. Hey Mike, Happy Birthday for yesterday! What a cliffhanger that last chapter is! But isn’t the chastity device Sarah bought a bit of an anachronism? I remember Altarboy’s website from the 90s and am fairly sure that until the “CB2000” cage device was launched, the only commercially available male chastity devices were hyper-expensive full belts, leather toys and a custom made device called Lori’s chastity tube, which I think needed a piercing. As for strange looking miniature brass locks, I think they were introduced about 10 years ago by the makers of the Holy Trainer. Having said that, your care with historical accuracy has been such that, if you remember otherwise, I’m sure you’re right.
  6. Yes, Google Translate is hopeless at this. The problem is that, in French, possessive adjectives (his, her) agree with the thing they describe, not the person the thing belongs or relates to. So both “his mother” and “her mother” are « sa mère » in French. Google has to guess whether to translate « sa » as “his” or “her” from the context.
  7. OK, this chapter was well worth waiting for! Little Heroine Briana and another scene involving my favourite fictional babysitter: apart from getting the next chapter as soon as possible or even sooner, what more could one ask for? 😍
  8. I love these characters! I got stressed almost to @YourFNF levels reading LSB as you posted it and gave up just before Veronica started getting Melody to accept help, but I have started re-reading it now, as I want to get the back-story for LLB. Of course I’m now getting spoilers for the parts I’ve not yet got to, but it’s actually reassuring to read that Rosa lives with Briana and Melody now. Thank you for being a writer who reliably finishes their stories!
  9. Thank you for the new episode! Now for an introduction to English treasure law…
  10. Ooh! Ooh! I know this one! I remember the banners. I also remember the optimism about how Russia would turn out after the fall of communism. But your Dimitri Orlov would have seen the start of the career of a certain В Путин.
  11. It may be weird, but it’s well written. Thank you for posting it.
  12. Tippi is certainly an interesting piece of work! Kind of the antithesis of Ian: selfish, scheming and sadistic. I look forward to Ian or Julia getting her measure.
  13. Yes, their stories diverged from the point at which I made that comment. Having said that, they each reached a satisfying (to them and to the reader) resolution of their situation that reflected both their characters and their talents. Congratulations on skilfully executing another great concept!
  14. Another excellent chapter! Justine is an interesting character. It might be due to a rogue spellchecker, but you have “ascetic” (almost religious avoidance of luxury) where I think you mean “aesthetic” (style of beauty) in the description of the lift in the GF building.
  15. I’m seeing parallels here with “Chasing Emily”: protagonist is forced into a deal with a very well resourced adversary, but continues to follow her own agenda. Will Yayoi be able to use the resources provided through the deal in ways that Anna is unaware of? If this story follows that path, I will certainly enjoy it; if not, everyone likes surprises in the fiction they read.
