  1. I am part of the old school- I am in my 40s and I remember in the day you sometimes got lucky finding diaper magazines at porno shops but that was like finding hens teeth- or Nugget, which was a fetish magazine would sometimes have adult babies in it - of course I was 21 by then- but before that I felt alone other than when I'd seen some talk show- I think it was Donahue by coincidence when he had ABs on the show. It was a much different era. I was given a book about sex lifestyles and in it had adult babies listed and there was a picture of a girl in a crib. And this mind you- wasn't in color- black and white- I was given the book in 1997 by a friend who knew I wore diapers at that time. Times have really changed- I got my first internet computer in 2000 and my world changed when I found out what was out there online and the rest as I like to say was history. I too also remember seeing adult diapers in catalogs- I also remember also the old school Attends diapers and liked those over Depends as I found Depends did not work well, nor fit me right due to my height and all plus they were much thinner than Attends were at that time I recall. Times have changed- now you have more options and better diapers if you are willing to spend the money on them. BabyChris
  2. Nothing, staying home and watching college football games with beer and a pizza I have in my freezer that is calling my name- not in the mood to deal with crowds and noise and will have my music on so I won't hear the college kids near me shooting off fireworks until 4am as they usually do where I live. Years ago I would be working as a dishwasher on New Year's Eve til 2am so I am glad I am not doing that now- I prefer a more subdued New Year's Eve with nothing to do but watch college football. BabyChris
  3. I stocked up on beer, food and a few other things and covered my bases as it is to drop rapidly overnight where I live- from 40s to single digit temps and we are to have what is known as a flash freeze here- my plans are to stay home and stay warm and hope for the best I do not lose power and I am in the midst of getting over a cold as well. We are not going to get much snow as we got earlier in 2022 but enough where it is tolerable for me and I can go out after Christmas Day. I do not deal with the cold very well so I am staying home and hoping for the best. I am hoping everyone stays safe, stays warm, and also has a wonderful and Merry Christmas weekend no matter where you are! BabyChris
  4. Indeed; you have my condolences as well. I have had a few losses here and there over the past few years and it is always a hard thing to go through and also losing a family member always sucks. Condolences to you and your family Mikey. BabyChris
  5. Love the pictures of fish! I made my peace with not being able to have fish by putting some stuffed fish I had into the tank and some small stuffed killer whales- As I will admit I do have a sentimental attachment to the aquarium because I got it in 1998 after my old one busted whilst I was cleaning it. I have always loved fish, whales and dolphins ever since I was a kid. I'd had fish from the time I was 5 years old up til 2002 when my last one died- I decided not to get more fish because I spent a lot of time going to my relatives- and it got harder for me to find someone to take care of my fish when I was gone from my apartment I had at that time- even then- the management didn't like me having fish but they let me. Growing up I loved going to the zoo aquariums around me and seeing all the different fish and sea life and have several books on whales my girlfriend found for me at used bookstores. Thanks for sharing the pictures of your fish!! BabyChris
  6. If my property management would allow me- I would have fish in my fish tank- which I am thinking of getting rid of- though one day I REALLY want to have fish in my apartment as I loved having fish growing up due to my fascination with sea life- I still to this day sleep with a stuffed killer whale who also comes out to my living room every day. I asked the property manager as she was inspecting my apartment for repairs needed last year if I could have fish and she said NO. No fish- due to possible water damage from tanks sadly. I always loved having fish, aquariums because of my obsession with sea life that goes to my first visit to SeaWorld in 1980 and since then I had aquariums- first fish bowls- then larger aquariums- nice pictures of your fish by the way! BabyChris
  7. Apple Cider and apple drinks are probably the ONLY thing I like about the fall!! I am not a fan of fall or winter because I do not deal well with the colder weather and shorter days- plus I never got into Halloween much because when I was growing up I had to stop trick or treating and dressing up after 6th grade- and I see a lot of stupidity from drunk college kids around Halloween to the point that it just turns me off of the holiday- plus I am probably in the minority on horror movies- I greatly dislike them- except for the classics from the 40s, 50s and George A. Romero films. I love it when I can also find the Mike's Hard Apple this time of year as well! I love Apple Cider and have ever since I was a kid so that makes fall good for me.
  8. I can be a homebody a lot- especially in the winter months because I abhor the cold and the snow we get where I live- and I get out when I can to go to the store, but I prefer to stay home- unless I have baseball as I will be likely getting back to that after the 4th of July Holiday weekend- and I generally am more a homebody who prefers to sit, watch baseball on TV, reruns, my favorite shows- DVDs, play my video games, work on my computer and just enjoy peace and quiet. I used to not always be a homebody but that has changed since I had my bad fall four years ago that messed me up and I used to walk around all over my hometown. I do go places but not on the level my girlfriend does- she goes to her car cruises and all and I am more a homebody than she is. During summer months- sometimes I get out more and go places like to see family, friends and baseball games but most parts, I am a major league homebody who prefers to stay home more for some reason and all. Summer is my favorite time of year because the weather is better, days are longer, and there is more for me to do without worrying about one bad move or fall into the snow that can set me back physically even more than I already have been due to CP. BabyChris
  9. Now that is FUNNY! And reason why it is FUNNY is because it can be true- diapers can come in handy with beer given how it can go through you! I wear diapers when I drink because it is easier! Diapers can come in handy when drinking beer! BabyChris
  10. Not bad! I have enjoyed some Star Trek fan stuff since 2006 when I discovered Star Trek Hidden Frontier- though the effects were somewhat cheesey, cheap but I liked the stories and the settings after Star Trek Nemesis and Insurrection. I liked the series and how they had nods to TNG, VOY, DS9, and Classic Trek at times- I liked the series- and I loved finding also Star Trek New Voyages- later Phase II- and others online. Sometimes I think the fans know Star Trek better than the studios do in Hollywood. Though I like what I have seen of Strange New Worlds, Discovery and Picard. I have been a Star Trek fan since 1990- over 32 years- and it- along with baseball were the two things that kept me sane in high school in the 90s. I watched both videos and I was impressed by the quality of it! BabyChris
  11. I have followed Discovery, Picard and Strange New Worlds- too cheap to get Paramount + right now- but yeah- the new stuff is much better than the JJ Abrams Trek-verse- I was not happy with it to the point where after Into Darkness I refused to see Beyond in the theater as I had seen every Star Trek movie since VI The Undiscovered Country in the theater- so I was like NO- but Beyond actually was better than Into Darkness or as I call it Wrath of Khan Redux- I am no fan of the JJ Abrams Trek films- at all- though I do have a movie poster of the 2009 film I got for my birthday that year from a friend who manages a movie theater. I saw the pilot for Strange New Worlds on YouTube via Paramount CBS on a free preview and I was WOWED by it. I can think nothing of watching TNG, DS9, VOY and Classic Trek for hours as I also have in my collection I forgot to add- my late aunt's Classic Trek CBS/Columbia House subscription set she ordered years ago. I have all the movies up to 2009- Won't get Into Darkness but may get Beyond- again- I hated Into Darkness- nothing but a Wrath of Khan Redux. BabyChris
  12. I saw the trailer for Prelude to Axanar and I thought it was awesome when I saw it a few years ago. I got hooked on Star Trek back in 1990- I was aware of it but I was not a fan until 1990- and since then I have seen what I can and all- I've got a collection of books, novels, comic books, toys and replica starships from the show- my pride and joy replica is the USS Enterprise B from Star Trek Generations- as I loved the Excelsior-class ships for some reason- my girlfriend found it at a toy store going out of business marked down- Star Trek and baseball were the two things that kept me sane in the 90s in high school. I got hooked on several other fan productions as well because as someone who has a penchant for getting obsessed on things- due to Asperger's- Star Trek is one of my big obsessions. BabyChris
  13. I have watched those- those are some good Star Trek series done by fans and the set they filmed those at in New York are now somewhat a Star Trek set museum. I have been a Star Trek fan for decades and I have always loved and appreciated the effort that the fans did to bring the series to life. I found this particular series a while back online- so I got hooked as a Star Trek fan! BabyChris
  14. Air conditioning is a Godsend- I love having mine- I do not have central air but rather a room AC that is in a assigned slot- I was gifted a brand new AC back in 2016 after my old one was making too much noise and was louder than it should be- and it kept my apartment cool during the days when we were in the upper 80s before the cold front came through yesterday. Air conditioning is so great to have when you do not have the ability to deal with the heat all that well- as I do not deal with heat well as I have had issues in my life where if it was too hot- I would have trouble sleeping. BabyChris
  15. Airplane! is a classic movie! I still have my VHS tape of the sequel- the movies are great classics! I prefer the classics over the modern over the top movies we have now- In fact- I will admit I am looking forward to Top Gun Maverick and the next Jurassic World movie as I love the original Jurassic Park movies and sequel films! Airplane! and Airplane! II are two of my favorite movies I loved to watch when I was old enough to- my parents were rather strict about things- so I had to wait til I was older in the 90s for some stuff! Airplane! and Airplane! II ROCK! BabyChris
  16. I have been reluctant to write about my own experiences with CP because I do not like always talking about it because I was a baseball player once at a point of my life- good enough had I played in my senior year- I could have played professionally- but my grades were crap- and having had to deal with it- issues from CP and before someone accuses me of not having it- I was diagnosed with CP when I was very young. I have also been going through old letters, documentations from doctors I had growing up that my parents gave me years ago so I can get special services that can help me. So it has enlightened me at times reading those letters from the clinic I went to growing up in the 1980s. I also know how much worse CP can be for some people because I had a friend of mine who had it too- but sadly my friend died in 2005 due to suicide in a very sad and tragic way because he was depressed and just could not handle a lot of disappointments in life I guess. My friend was confined to a wheelchair, required help and all- wherein I was able to walk, ride a bike, etc and play sports... plus my aunt was a special ed teacher so I grew up around others with disabilities and special needs such as MD, Down Syndrome, developmental delays, etc... In the past five years I have had a lot of loss of mobility due to the CP and to the point where I have had incontinence- a situation I have dealt with since 1995- I have been in and out of diapers since 1995- it would come and go and lately it can be problematic but I am concerned about the costs of diapers and fixed income. Four years ago I fell and it messed up my back, legs to the point where I sometimes have good days moving, bad days moving and when I go places I usually use a cane so I do not fall. I have had a few near falls- like last year- I nearly fell in my baseball dugout- I am- or was a bench coach slash scorebook keeper for an adult rec team and well- my legs were giving me fits with spasms- but the guys had my back and helped me after I had a spasm and fell. I was OK, but embarrassed by the situation. During after game beers, the guys told me if I need anyone to let them know. I have been blessed that I have a great support network, family, friends- a great and awesome girlfriend who loves me no matter what and yet sometimes I find it hard to talk about my CP online because I do not like the fact that I have CP and the issues, the spasms, the occasional fall, having to be careful with what I do. CP is not my only disability- I have a hearing loss also due from the complications of birth that led to me having CP as well- and I was diagnosed with Asperger's in 2004 after being suspected of having autism by my aunt and a teacher or three when I was growing up. The incontinence I have learned to live with it and enjoy having to wear diapers- I embraced having also baby feelings too that had come up with me over the years- I never outgrew stuffed animals- I still sleep with a stuffed killer whale, a quilt another aunt made me when I was young in her honor as she died in 2020 due to Covid- and I also use baby bottles, pacifiers too to help me cope with my issues. I have had those bladder tests too and they are NOT FUN and I told my primary care doctor I refuse to go through it again because I know they will suggest I use a catheter and I HATE those- they are uncomfortable, painful and not fun so I would rather use diapers instead of a catheter. I would rather use diapers- as it is easier on me mentally, emotionally than catheters ever would be. However, I am a bit different in ways- I am not into kids shows, movies- unless they are ones I love from when I was growing up or ones I like such as some Disney live action movies from the 1960s-90s- etc- and also I prefer more adult fare- I think nothing of watching Law & Order or Law & Order Special Victims Unit all day long, NCIS LA, Dallas, Hill Street Blues, Hunter, The Dukes of Hazzard, CHiPs, etc- I can go on and on- I also read books that are over a thousand pages long as well. I also will watch baseball all day and night long. I wanted to write, say to the OP and others- you are all not alone with having CP, the issues that go with it in life and I have accepted having CP and have made my peace with it in my life as it is one of those things that one deals with the cards they have been dealt with in life. So- you all are not alone and I hope my words have helped a bit- because sometimes I do not always know what to say in some situations like this about my own issues in life. BabyChris
  17. I went out to get cash for a money order with my girlfriend and I was watching USFL football on TV when I got up after the Cleveland Guardians baseball game- they won- and I got dinner at my local Sheetz as I like their burrito and fries- now I am watching MLB Network as I wait for another baseball game to start from one of my favorite parks- Dodger Stadium- if that is the game I get in my area- later overnight I will probably play Need for Speed as I listen to music and relax. It has been a quiet and peaceful Saturday for me with a great day of warm weather that was comfortable after a few days of cold and bitter weather! BabyChris
  18. I did not do much for Easter this year because I was supposed to go over to see my folks with my girlfriend- but my folks had other plans and then they ended up under the weather but are feeling better now- I just had a Hungry Man bowl of chicken, mac and cheese- something simple and easy on a very relaxing and quiet Easter and did not do much at all except wish my friends and family a Happy Easter! BabyChris I do hope everyone had a great Easter weekend!
  19. There was a great sub place where I lived that had some of the best I had and also a good pizza as well- sadly they closed because of a lawsuit over the name they used- rather than fight- they closed shop suddenly and I loved going there. It is always sad when a favorite place closes down! BabyChris
  20. Since the pandemic began I have lost weight because I have changed my diet, eat less- and I stretch things out as much as I can- and I switched from regular soda- or as we call it where I live pop- to zero sugar and zero calorie pops- drink more water and also cut down on the fast food- I backslid on food last year for a while after my aunt died as it was hard on me. It does feel good to have things fit better- my baseball pants I wear to my games as a bench coach fit better- my jerseys fit better- and people have noticed I have lost weight- including my primary care doctor. Even diapers fit better on me too! It is hard to give up the stuff you love- like for me- fast food, pizzas- etc- but it does help you in the long run to feel better! BabyChris
  21. I am a Cleveland fan- I grew up in Northeast Ohio so I root for Cleveland teams, Ohio teams in general. For baseball I am a Guardians fan- though that name will take getting used to- and for football I am a Browns fan and also I root for the Bengals. My grandpa was a Bengals fan so I am a fan of BOTH Ohio NFL teams. Basketball is obvious- Cleveland Cavaliers- hockey- Columbus Blue Jackets- and soccer (football) Columbus Crew. For colleges I like a lot because I got help as a kid from Akron U, Kent State and my aunts, sister went to Bowling Green- and my family is deeply passionate about Ohio State and there are a lot of reasons for that. I myself am excited about the new USFL and remember the old one VERY WELL. I was very happy to see Birmingham get a rebooted team. BabyChris
  22. Wow- I had no idea such a thing existed- and yeah- that is NASTY- wow... is there nothing they will not sell? SMH
  23. Now you all are making me want donuts again! Before the pandemic I would get some cream sticks at a local supermarket where I live that had them- but due to some rules they stopped making them for a while- they make them again but when I go there now- they are usually out! Yeah- it is weird how when you start a diet you see more of the ads of stuff you like on TV or elsewhere! When I was on a soft-food diet years ago in the early 90s after a surgery I SWEAR I saw more pizza ads, more McDonald's ads on TV! BabyChris BTW- those donuts sure do look TASTY! Making me hungry LOL!!!!!!!
  24. Been there done that- had that yesterday- Thursday- I had that and was MEH all day long as I had been staying up late doing things and being up for my girlfriend who works overnights as she likes it when I am up on her breaks. I felt better after I went to bed early last night and slept for 10 hours! Though I had trouble sleeping a few hours because of my legs wanting to do the can can but I can relate to what you have been through on NUMEROUS occasions. So I can relate- take care of yourself! BabyChris
  25. My girlfriend is very accepting of the fact I wear diapers and use them. She even changes me when we are together- we do not live together yet but she is very accepting of my ABDL desires and I do not force it upon her and let her do what she is comfortable with doing. I am very lucky she is understanding. She even buys me baby toys sometimes and she also is OK with me using baby bottles- which I use a lot due to anxiety from things. I consider myself lucky I found her as it took me years and years to find someone who accepts this part of me. BabyChris
