Diaperpants

I am diapered by choice. I've often thought of myself as having a type of incontinence since my control is not consistent. I've been a pants wetter since childhood. Diapers were a natural out come since my pants wetting episodes became more frequent and I had a couple accidents at work. Being incontinent is not always easy, but it is managable. Diapers have been a big help to me. I can't imagine life without them.

I don't know how I missed this thread! I would have posted before this! I love to tell my early experiences with diapers. When I was about 4, I would spend the night with my cousin. We're abut the same age. He was a bed wetter, and my aunt put him in diapers at bed time. I used to love watching her diaper him and the intimacy they shared together. I wanted a diaper too! At age 10, I began wetting my pants in school. I also rediscovered my love and interest for diapers. I made diapers out of towels when no one was around. I never wet them, just enjoyed wearing them. After I left home, I began wetting again and discovered adult diapers. I'm diapered 24/7 now as a 'want to' not a 'have to.'

I like my diapers snug, too. At night, I have to be on my back when I wet or I spring a leak! Another tip is to wet gradually and not wet heavy. This enables the diaper to hold more and last longer.

I love my binky, too. I call it my dookey! I really like them when I'm stressed or very tired. I've tried many brands, but my fave is Mam.

My wife used to change my diaper. We would have what I called Diaper dialoge where she was the mommy and I a 27 mos. old boy. We had some great times. She no longer does it. I change my own diapers now, but have a lot of good memories.

I spent the day with my brother yesterday, and wasn't sure if I'd be able to change my diaper while out. He knows I wear diapers. I put two Depend Boost pads in my Attends and went the whole day without needing to change. I put the diaper on at about 7 a.m. and was able to change 12 hours later. No leaks. An added benefit was that I had a nice bulky diaper between my legs! Any one else use extra pads with diapers?

Haven't had any sightings of adults, either. But I keep looking.

I've never tried the Abri form. I'm not sure where to get them in the states.

I've been an Attends man ever since Procter & Gamble brot 'em out over 20 yrs. ago. The quality has not been as consistent since Paper Pak took over, but they're still the best diaper out there. The 10's have improved the waistband, minimized the wetness indicator and look more babyish. All in all, a great diaper!

My attraction to the ab/dl life style is also because of lack of nurter as a kid. Like you, I had a love/hate relationship about the whole thing. Saw my share of shrinks, too. But, as I get older, I'm at peace with myself and my life style. Diapers will always be a part of my life. I've never heard of any one getting arrested for DWD--driving while diaperd!

I've never tried formula, but have thought about it. I put milk in my sippy cups. Also juice.

I've been shaving the diaper area for close to eight yrs. I love the look, and it feels good when I go pee pees.

I like cloth for the same reason. Plus, I like to be wet and cloth helps me feel wet longer! Disposables are more convenient, though

I like classical music, too. Dvorak and Brahms are my favorite composers.

I've been attracted to diapers ever since I was a kid and watched my aunt diaper my cousin for bed. As I got older, I made diapers out of bath towels and wore them when no one was around. I never wet them, though. When disposables for adults came out, I was over joyed! My first diapers were a brand called Ambeze. I later tried Curity, then went to Attends when Procter & Gamble brought them out. I wear Attends medium with waist band mostly, but also wear Depends overnights once in awhile. Like others who have posted, diapers are a security thing for me. There's nothing like your diaper when things are going a little crazy!

I really prefer the Atends medium with waist band, but use the Depends Overnights as well. They hold one good wetting, and work best with the Depend Boost Pads. I've never tried the refastenable under wear.
