To be honest I don't know that too many of us will be sad if DS doesn't come back. Last time they went offline for weeks (about a year ago) I started making a brand new, from the ground up, site to replace it for the community. Then of course it came back up and everyone just went right back to it. Well this time I can't say I picked up where I left off, but I have started a whole new base for the site. As of right now there's not much to see, but I do have a progress update page/blog set up where you can all follow the progress as I work on the site and even participate in beta testing it when the time comes if you're interested. For starters you should definitely make sure you understand not only what she is ok with, but what she is certainly not ok with before going in. I've found over the years that when it comes to fetishes, there is definitely no second chance for a first impression with most people, and the best way to insure she'll never do it again is by making the experience anything less than enjoyable for her. Although it is possible to enjoy a wet diaper, it is a really strange feeling for people who aren't already used to it. Your best bet is to let her stay in a dry diaper for a couple of hours. You may even consider wearing one with her to help her feel ok about the situation so she's not the only one diapered. If she is open to the idea of at least trying to wet herself, you can wet with her, or at least offer to change her if she feels uncomfortable with the sensation of a wet diaper. You may also want to mix some intimacy with the process of wetting or after. Maybe have her sit on your lap and you can put your arms around her while she relaxes and wets or something. When she's done you could kiss her neck or something of the sort and check her diaper, which will in turn cause some movement and light pressure on her genitals. Combined with the warm, moist feeling of the diaper that can actually be more than enough to arouse her slightly. The idea is not to engage in sexual activity, but to stimulate arousal by hormones and intimate contact. This will cause her to associate those feelings with the experience and result in a better chance of her being receptive to a repeat performance. If she is against the idea of wetting, you could always simulate the feeling for her with warm water. After she's been diapered for a few hours, you can untape it, and gently and slowly pour warm water (obviously check the temp so it's not too hot or too cold) over her genitals and into the crotch of the diaper. Pouring it over her genitals will create a pleasant sensation for her and that will help improve her receptiveness. Make sure you don't use too much water. About 8-10oz should be more than enough. You don't want the diaper to be flooded, just warm and wet like it would be if she just peed. Once you tape it back up, you can gently rub her crotch and encourage her to feel it herself. Again adding to the stimulation of the experience. At any rate, just make sure you do everything you can to make it enjoyable and sensual for her. Well actually from what I know about this BB system that's being used, when a thread/post is deleted on here it is actually wiped from the database completely. Locking/unlocking etc uses a simple boolean value entry on the database. So that being said, I've never in my years of working with databases seen corruption where an entire row of the database was the only thing lost lol Sadly from what I know about this system, I also don't think it keeps a log of mod/admin activity. So the only real way to find out would be to check the server logs, find the IP who logged in and accessed the page to delete the thread, then compare that to a list of the mods IP addresses maintained either in the sortware (if it keeps them) or in the server logs themselves. Which makes hunting the person down a real hassle lol I honestly don't care about it enough to have Di rummaging through server logfiles to find the culprit at this point. Once the site is up and running I'll just start up a new thread here. I wrote down most of the details that were discussed in the thread. The only reason to really continue the search is if you want to find out who did it and why so you can take appropriate action, but I've got too much work to do on the site to really care about someone yanking a thread off the forums here anymore

Yeah I know it's possible for errors to occur, but I've also been doing this long enough to know that one thread doesn't just *poof* out of a database on it's own lol Which means that one of the mods (who are the only ones with permission to delete an entire thread like that) must have deleted the thread. As for the forum software being used, deleting a post means clicking a little "Delete" icon/button looking thing on the actual post. Deleting a thread on the other hand, means going to the forum view, checking a box on the thread, and scrolling to the bottom to click the delete option. Very very different processes So I find it very hard to believe someone "accidentally" deleted the entire thread as you'd have to either be 1 drink shy of a death from alcohol poisoning... or have the IQ of a jar of mayonnaise that sat on a counter for a week... and in the event of the latter... you wouldn't even be a mod here... and in the event of the former... you probably would have done this before and lost your mod capabilities... so... that leaves us with the situation that for some reason, someone wanted to keep that post off the forums... so either one of the mods is working on their own site and wanted to snuff out the competition... or one of the mods already has their own site... and is secretly trying to keep us from stealing people from it... *coughdiaperspacenaziscough* Aaaanyway lol I'm gonna keep working on the site in my spare time, and hopefully we can find out who did this and why...

Just a thought, I know a lot of people on here probably have some sort of digital cable package from their provider. If you don't feel like going to the gym, or don't want to pay to do it. There are usually a variety of workout/exercise videos available in the "On Demand" section of most cable providers. They're usually provided free of charge as well. You could work out in the comfort of your own home, diapered or not. That's one option for those who maybe can't, don't feel like, or simply won't go to the gym

That makes me el oh el Unlike most people you've probably come to know I don't force personal beliefs on others. Do I feel like people should be discouraged from doing that sort of thing, yes. Will I personally discourage it if they ask about whether it's right or wrong, yes. Will I go out of my way and throw my opinion in their face if they're not specifically asking if it's "ok", nope. Bottom line is that really even if we tell people who do things wrong not to do them, they're still going to do them anyway. It's human nature to be defiant and learn on your own. I do have to agree with you for the most part, but there are some cases where the "acceptable" behavior becomes wrong. Wearing out in public is nothing. Intentionally letting your diaper show by tucking in your shirt, or wearing pants/shorts that have a low waist band, that's fine too. But when you're intentionally trying to show off your diaper to specific people in the hopes of getting a reaction from them, that's probably not something we should encourage as that behavior is the exact same thought process that leads violent sex offenders and flashers to do what they do. It's not about the sex for them. People don't go out and rape people because they wanna get laid. They do it because of the reaction, or the thrill of forcing themselves (or their sexual beliefs) on others. Same goes for flashing people. I see nothing wrong with making sure your diapers are visible at all times when you're out, but when you start concealing them, then walking up to a person and making sure to expose it to them as much as possible to catch a reaction... that's where I personally feel like you're crossing a line that shouldn't be crossed. One thing I've noticed in my tours around the internet is the lack of cute cloth diapers. Most of the cloth diapers you see are just plain white or a pastel color. Yet you can go into almost any fabric store, hell even walmart, and they have some fairly thick, nice looking flannel material. You could consider the possibility of sewing terry/flannel diapers that are in cute print fabrics. I'm sure many AB's and even some LG/LB's would enjoy the idea of cute cloth diapers. Coupled with a cute transparent plastic pant, that would make for a nice combo. I know the most popular plastic pant print is the "carousel" print in blue/pink pastel which has clowns and balloons and whatnot on it. The plastic is translucent, so perhaps a printed/designed fabric for the cloth diaper which could match the plastic pants at least color wise could work for you. If you find a market for it, you might even be able to team up with one of the small companies who manufactures the plastic pants and sell directly to them later on. Just a thought

Just an option for those who would like the feeling of messing without the smell/cleanup... Oatmeal is indeed an option, but dumping it in your diaper isn't the same sensation as the act of going. An option to possibly consider, and please do your research before trying this as you can hurt yourself if you're unfamiliar with enemas and anal play. Best bet is to buy a reusable enema kit. Bag, hose(s), valve, and tips. Give yourself an enema, hold it in for several minutes. Let it out in the toilet. Do this a second and possibly third time until all your mostly seeing is water coming back out. At this point you're all clean in there. Using a little bit of lubrication, you can quite easily take a PEELED banana and either break it in 2 pieces or stick it in whole. Make sure you peel it, the husk can and will cut you if you put it in unpeeled and you could die from an infection, internal bleeding, or a blood clot that gets loose. You can actually get about 2 whole bananas in comfortably and after they're in you'll pretty much feel like you have to poop. Clean up, diaper up and enjoy the feeling of messing your diapers without the mess. Bananas are a good consistency as they have the texture and shape of poop, and they're not too hard or runny. If you want to add to the fun, you can always add some oatmeal to the diaper before you poop. I would not suggest putting oatmeal in your anus though, that could cause some major problems later and even trying to rinse it out with enemas may not get all of it out of your system. Typically only digested food ends up in there Point is if you're familiar with or willing to read up on and learn the safe and unsafe things to do with enemas and anal insertions, you can essentially poop yourself any time you want for a couple bucks at the grocery store. Load up, pop in a suppository, diaper up and go out somewhere if you want... you can poop in the middle of a restaurant and no one will smell anything. Might hear something, but there's no poop smell to worry about and no rash if you sit in it all day. Women still need to be cautious of the risk of yeast infection if the banana gets around that area and stays there for too long, but as long as your conscious of where the mess is and you clean up properly afterward you should be fine.

I think you were right in not doing it. After all to him, you were not only a complete stranger, but one that he may very well run into again in doing his banking. Imagine yourself in his shoes and how you would feel being outed by someone at your bank just on a whim. It would be pretty embarrassing I'm sure. So not saying anything was probably your best choice there.

Drinking a lot of water and staying away from the bathroom may not be the best solution as that can cause damage to your bladder and leave you in a situation where you actually need diapers lol However, the suggestion to start peeing standing up, and then sit down once you start is not a bad one at all. Sort of like how it's hard to stop peeing once you start, that's the principle at work here. When you have to go, stand up, start going, and just as you feel the stream coming out, sit back down. Don't stop yourself from going, just simply sit down, and then attempt to continue going, and it should work nicely for you. Another option would be to go sit on the toilet. You can pee while sitting on the toilet, so doing that might cause you mind to allow yourself to go sitting down.

Actually I noticed that too and they claimed to improve the briefs as well. I bought a pack just to test it out and they certainly appear to be better now. The tapes hold more securely, the diaper holds quite a bit more than it used to, doesn't leak as easily, and the plastic is in fact a little softer than I remember. Unfortunately they still don't compare value wise to Tranquility. You'll pay about as much for a pack as you would for a pack of Tranquility, you'll get a couple extra diapers, but the overall performance of depends is still dramatically trumped by Tranquility ATN. So in short, in a pinch, they're not half bad, but if you can afford to wait a couple days, I'd grab a pack of Tranquility ATN online and wait for it. Granted you do pay shipping costs on them that way, but if you order a few packs at a time, the shipping kinda balances out price wise anyway.

Just FYI I'm in the process of talking with Shannon right now to see if I can't get something together to take over the site and possibly even restore the old content that was there to preserve everyone's usernames, profiles, photos, etc until I get a new "creep free" version of the site up and running. I know some of you are familiar with my name, some are not. But as a professional PHP (Website) programmer for the past 11 years, I've come up with some nice ways to improve on the site and hopefully start cleaning up the community a bit to put all the creepy mannerless guys on ice and let the rest of us get on with our social lives in the community. Nothing is set in stone, we've only just begun talking about it, but dltown has proven to be one of the best sites we've had in the community so far (right up there with DD here) because of the dedication, time, and effort put into it. I would hate to see it go, and being that I'm a member of the community who has the knowledge and desire to not only keep it here, but make it better, I'm going to do anything I can to get things back in gear. I'll certainly post back here with any updates on the situation and hopefully we can get things going again before too much time passes. That's very true rusty, but the thing people don't realize (and yes I intend to make all of these horny little tards who can't keep it in their pants and act mature for 5 minutes understand this concept) is that on the internet... on your website... that you run... you... are... god... so they can try to do whatever they want, but you have the ultimate control over them. You just have to decide when, where, and how you intend to exercise it. Their intentions were noble nonetheless. Unfortunately you have to remember the totally unbalanced ratio of men to women in the community. Because of that, and the anonymity that the internet gives you (for the most part), many guys feel that it's "ok" to behave irrationally towards women online. Saying and doing things they would never even think about doing normally. And yes they did in fact copy the same open source system that was used for diaperspace. But if you even had the slightest idea of how complex a system like that really is and how long it would take to build one from scratch, coupled with the fact that it is the only myspace clone out there right now, they really didn't have much choice. I happen to be in a somewhat unique situation here as I'm finishing up work for a client on a myspace type site which I built from scratch. So there are several technologies I've already written for that which could easily be modified to work with a site like dltown or diaperspace to help clean it up. They put in countless hours of their time and tons of their money to try to improve the community by manually cleaning up the messes that these immature people are making. Diaperspace on the other hand has chosen to implement automated systems that ban users and delete accounts based on a set of parameters that sometimes applies to fakes and spammers. So complain all you want about what they did or didn't do right, but until you fully grasp the situation, and the immense effort they put in to improve all of our lives in this community, you really can't begin to understand why they did what they did.

Well I'm very busy at the moment programming a social networking site, but why don't you email me (i'm assuming you can access my email address from the forum registration) I may be able to use some of the video scripts I've been writing for this current project to allow me to interject video advertisements into the flash player or something of that sort... It looks to me like [DD]Tube is based on some form of open source php/mysql software solution... If you can provide me the URL where I can download the software I may be able to look into the player/backend systems and see what can be done to insert advertising into the videos as well as check to see if there would be a way to disable the autoplay feature of the FLV player and modify the download information. I'd be willing to help out if it keeps the community running here. Just need some of the details to get the information I need to sort it out.

Oh another thought as I was re-reading that post lol For the FLV-ad thing, you will need to modify the player to disable the video navigation bar during the advertisement. This could be done by either making the advertisements a universal length of time and setting that within the player, or you would have to actually load the advertisement/video information through an XML request and play each one seperately. The flaw in that is that the FLV url will be sent in the XML request, allowing someone who knows what they're doing to reverse engineer the system to skip the ad's. You could always pull a youtube and encrypt the information using an internal varable inside the flash player as the key. Youtube's gets broken about an hour after they change it every time, but then again that's a high-traffic, global site... so there are a lot of people available to break the encryption each time. I doubt you would run into that issue here, nonetheless I think of these things because it's what I do lol But a simple internal-variable encryption would probably suffice to keep the FLV location secure until the end of the video.

Since I program web sites for a living... A couple thoughts to conserve bandwidth and inject advertisements: 1) Disable the auto-play on the video pages. I'm sure at least half the users simply visit the page and click the download link for the video. Since the browser won't actually have a cache of the FLV file until it is finished downloading from the player, clicking the link prior to that will actually start a second transfer of the FLV file to the visitor's computer. Depending on the bandwidth usage of the server at the time, if they have already downloaded half of the FLV in the player, that results in 50% more bandwidth usage per visitor. 2) Injecting advertisements would be pretty simple if they are formatted in FLV (same settings as the actual videos). Build a PHP script that simply injects the video stream of the ad in front of the actual video data in the player and disable the download link on the video display page. Put the download link at the end of the flash file and have it link directly to the FLV file which should now be cached on the visitor's computer and will download without the advertisement injected in front of it. As long as the format (bitrate/quality setting) is the same as the videos of the site, all you need to do is have PHP send the header info for the FLV which contains the indexing and whatnot, and then output the video stream of the ad before the stream of the FLV itself. 3) And lastly. You could easily add a banner script into the site anywhere in the layout that is convenient for placement. It would probably be best to put it on the video download page, and you could also set up a google adwords account and toss that code in there to churn out a little extra revenue from google. Overall, the advertisement feature would probably be the best option since it would force visitors to watch the ad before the video and before downloading the video. And if they choose to use a video ripper to yank the FLV out of the player, they will end up downloading a version of it that permanently has the advertisement attached to the front of the video. Making it far better to just watch the ad and download the FLV at the end. This would also make it better for your advertisers since they have the peace of mind knowing that even if someone rips the video, their ad will still be in it. The video system could even be modified to MD5 hash the filename with a salt variable based on a system time at upload or something undetectable and unpredictable by the users. This would allow you to store the raw FLV's in a secure manner preventing someone tech-savvy from breaking the code and allowing the download of the raw FLV files without the ad's.
