Does anyone have any pets? My daddy and I have a blue tick coonhound pup, our house has four cats that adopted us and like to shower with people. and now I have a raccoon kit that's my responsibility now since I hit it's mommy with my car(I didn't mean it honest! ) It should be interesting to see how the dog and the coon get along.

Kids of today seem to relish being out in public and being seen with their underwear showing. I like to pad around the house with the top of my diapers and plastic pants showing out of the top of whatever pants I'm wearing, like fleece warmups or jeans. Ahh.. Cool cool... I was worried there for a second that I'd totally drawn a blank about meeting someone.

No real "link" to explain anything (the forum in my sig that I set up is kinda... uhh... neglected ), but, I'll give you the "basics"...

BostonBabies was a group started way back in the DPF days (even before the internet, and way before I got involved), and parties and events have been held semi-regularly for 20 years or so. I met one of the most active party hosts on one of those "screw it, I'm just going to bite the bullet and go meet some people" nights back in 2005, and once I was over the fact that I wasn't meeting a bunch of wierdos, but rather a pretty cool group of people, we hit it off. I went to a party hosted by TinyTroy (from ABY) shortly after, in Revere, and met the rest of the "regulars", and decided hosting some of my own shindigs would be a cool idea.

Fast forward 3 years, and I've hosted just under 40 events... Everything from ski trips, dinners out, holiday parties, trips to Six Flags in both MA and NJ, water parks, camping trips, etc., to chill nights at the house just relaxing with friends and a few drinks. Parties have been everything from full-on AB centric events with contests, storytimes, etc., to just some of us (sometimes not even diapered) meeting up for a car show, or a drive in movie or something. In 3 years I've met somewhere around 150 really cool people, and many have become lifetime friends, diapers or not. I'd have to say that the best thing about being a DL is that I've met so many people from different walks of life that I'd never have met if I were "normal". Even though I have a great group of non-abdl friends, it's always cool to meet new people.

As far as out your way, my good friend Mikey (babimikey004 on ABY) lives out there, and we head out to visit him pretty regularly. We were out a few weekends ago to meet a new dude from N. Adams that came down for the weekend to hang out, and I'll be headed out in a few weeks to spend the weekend helping Mike work on his GTO... Nothing better than guys, diapers, car parts, and beer, hahaha.

As I've said before, I'm game for meeting pretty much anyone, as are a lot of people in the Boston area, and a few even out your way. Only looking for friendship, and I'll pass on axe murderers and such, but aside for that, anything goes.

not that many know me in this particular forum, as I don't post that much. I started peeing the bed during the last couple of years and had to start wearing diapers every night. Then for the last 8, 9, (or 10) months (I'm not sure because I don't mark these things down on the calender) I've been having daytime accidents.

My doctor at the V.A. told me that it could be from the diabetes I came down with and just kind of shrugged it off. But it's gotten worse as time has gone by, with more and more accidents happening I've been wearing 24/7 (which is expensive).

A year and a half ago I had an injury to my back, I had an MRI and they told me that I had 2 protruding discs sticking out to the spinal cord, and offered to operate on them. Well my back got better over the next month or so, but I was going to get the operation and have it fixed, but then they told me that the surgery could make it worse though, so I opted to skip the operation for that time. And would see if things got better.

Well I made it okay until about 2 months ago, when my back went out big time (just because I bent over), the V.A., being their normal speedy selves couldn't get me in until June. Here I am having to use a walker at the age of 48, and they're telling me I'll be in this pain and lame as Mr Bush until June at the earliest.

Well I found out that because they were'nt able to get me in in a timely manner that I could see a surgeon outside their system, and BAM I found out that the vertibrae are sitting on a tangle of nerves, and that's why I'm in such pain, and the protruding discs and problems with the nerves that is the probable cause of the incontinence.

And they said that they could operate on me next Thursday, 5/8. I also found out I have arthritis in my back, spurs on the vertibrae, and stenosis (narrowing of the vertibrae). Still it was like THANK GOD!! I've found a doctor who knows what the hell is going on.

I'll still have problems with my back for awhile, and the incontinence might not go away right away, but it can improve over time, (at least he thinks so). It's gotten to the point that I'm not feeling even the urge to go before I'm going, and having to use a walker to get around sucks, but the strength in my right leg has just gone, but with surgery I'll have that strength back pretty soon. It's about 4 to 6 weeks to recouperate.

I'm really looking forward to having this over and done with, it's really sucked the big one.
