  1. I sort of wrote about some of this on another post... but long story short I had one girlfriend in highschool and I told her and we never really spoke about it again... and then I told a girl that I was just friends with and she thought it wasn't that weird at all, it is just underwear afterall and we ended up dating for a long time and she was totally cool with it... One of the other big factors is what your asking someone to do. I may be way off here so let me know what you think... I'm a daddy, and I think that treating a girl like a baby may tap into a more... "sexually interesting" place for a woman, dealing with things like submission, control and giving up that maternal instinct... I'm not saying that is always the case, because some woman are totally into domination and control, but in my experience it has been the former that is more common and might be a little more intriguing to the opposite sex? Either way, I agree with baby bethany, ab/dl interests tap into very private and personal places and that scares a lot of people, especially if they don't fully understand. All you can do is be confident and tell the person clearly what the fetish is before they jump to their own negative conclusions. Sometimes it works, sometimes it doesn't, but you'll only know if you try. Gabe
  2. Alexander Keith's Pale Ale ahhhh Canadian beer how I love you...
  3. I told a girlfriend in highschool... that didn't go over so well... she just thought it was weird and we didn't really talk about it, kinda harsh for the first person to ever tell... The next person I told was a close friend and we were drunk one night, she didn't think it was weird at all. A couple months later we started seeing each other (which we never thought would happen) and she was amazing with everything... were no longer together but still best friends and I can't thank her enough for making me realize it's not that big a deal Those are the only people I've told, but I feel very comfortable telling people who need to know... but if they don't need to know, I won't tell them... 4. I'm just sitting here looking out my window at the snow... and I know everyone has been complaining about it... but I think I'm finally rooting for the snow to win! Were only about 17 inches from the record for snow in a winter (set in 1938-39) and no one remembers second place... Let me know what you think but I want the record! So I say bring on the snow for one or two more weeks LOL although if we do break the record I think we should all get something for free, like Ben & Jerry's for the summer. Gabe
  5. Personally I think that the more something is considered taboo, the more taboo it is... I used to be very secretive with everything involving an ab/dl lifestyle, but I found the more secretive I was or uncomfortable I was telling someone, the more uncomfortable they were... So now I realize that I could be involved with much worse things (drugs, gangs, techno music... jk I actually don't mind techno music lol) and with most things, a little confidence goes a long way... That having been said, it depends on the person, think of other comparable lifestyles that may get a weird reaction, Goth or punk is the most visible I think and some people involved in that lifestyle like dressing that way in public, although the shock value is part of that culture I guess, where as with ab/dl's it doesn't seem to be. I can't think of any other comparable lifestyles out there, but they would really help this discussion I think, so if anyone can think of them post them up! Cause I'm drawing blanks lol Gabe
  6. Hey! My name's Gabriel... I've been a part of this community for a long time but I've finally decided to actually say hi on the boards. I'm a musician and a teacher from Toronto. I love life in general and can talk about pretty much anything! Cheers, Gabe
