  1. beallucanb: Thanks so much for your kind offer, but getting them to Pennsylvania wouldn't be much easier then getting them to the west coast. If it were just two or three boxes, that'd work fine, but I have an admittedly ridiculous quantity of diapers: they fill most of a 10'x10' storage unit. That's why they really need to stay here. Before anybody knocks me for having so many diapers, when the cloth-like apocalypse comes, you'll wish you had a large stash too! I am weeding through them and donating some of my least favorites to folks on craigslist. Moved about a dozen cases so far, but most of the rest I want to keep. Again, thanks for all the replies so far. I'm still hoping for somebody within an hour or so of Raleigh.
  2. Yes, it's all for the good, Repaid1, but thank you for your genuine concern. I've lived in North Carolina all my life, and while it will always be home to me, I'm ready to experience life somewhere new and vibrant. My girlfriend lives in Seattle and I absolutely love that city, so I'm headed to the Pacific Northwest. Great music, amazing beers, and gorgeous scenery!
  3. I'll admit I do look from time to time, but I've never been able to definitively claim that someone else was wearing a diaper. I've even had occasion to meet two incontinent people in person that I *know* were wearing a diaper, but I still couldn't tell. It's funny how much some of us worry about being discovered, when even we have a hard time knowing for sure even when we're looking for them and know what to look for!
  4. In just a few weeks I'm moving to the west coast, but my fairly large stash of diapers is staying behind in the Triangle, at least for now. As such, I'm looking for someone to be my "diaper trustee". The job is easy: you just need to be a trustworthy person whom I can ask to fetch diapers from a storage unit and ship them to me (or to others) upon request. The requests will never be urgent, and will be infrequent; I doubt I'll ask for more than a shipment every month or two, if that. Requirements: Must be able to identify diapers. Must be able to box and ship diapers. Must be able to respect my desire for privacy, and keep this secret. Living close to Raleigh/Cary/Apex certainly a plus, but not absolutely necessary as long as you're willing to drive there once in a while. And, above all, must be TRUSTWORTHY! Payment for your service: Negotiable, but I was thinking a couple bags of Bambinos (or brand of your choice) each month? Also, if there's something in the stash you want to try a few of, just ask. Of course, I will reimburse you for any and all packaging and shipping costs. Seems like the perfect job for an ABDL to me! If you're interested, please send me a PM. I'd like to meet first over lunch or a beer, then I can show you the stash and get you the keys.
  5. ^ got the Useless Rumors and Corrupt-a-Wish threads mixed up. Oh no, wait, that was me.
  6. <rant> I sell vintage baby diapers on eBay from time to time, and I do my best to represent my items as accurately as I can. The term "vintage" is almost useless as it's so overused, but I confess to using it myself for any item you can't get anymore. I just sold a bag of Prevail Overnight Briefs with a plastic cover and I labeled them vintage with some hesitation, but it's true you can't buy plastic-covered Prevail anymore. Anyway, if I'm upfront in my description about what the item is, why I call it "vintage", and my shipping costs, why am I crook? Place a bid, or don't. I'm not forcing you to buy my item. ...but if you DO buy it, for chrissakes PLEASE PLEASE PAY FOR IT! I've found bidders on diaper auctions are notorious for being deadbeats. I guess they think it's fun to waste seller's time. Sellers are at a serious disadvantage on eBay now: can't leave negative feedback, and will have ALL their funds held at the first click of a "complaint" button by a buyer. It's driving sellers away from eBay, and I've seriously considered not listing anything else. The fees alone are ridiculous. I sell you a sampler of vintage baby diapers for ten bucks, and after all the fees and shipping, I maybe make two dollars. Why waste my time for that? You buyers are thinking, "So what?" Well, if enough of us decided to quit selling on eBay, where are you gonna go to find really rare stuff like a 1989 unopened bag of Ultra Pampers for Girls? </rant>
  7. My advice: Buy some unusual diaper brands while in Thailand and bring them back in the space you've freed up by using the diapers you took with you, then list them on eBay (or offer them on here). People like me are always looking to try new brands we can't get here. Good luck and have fun on your trip!
  8. Any good brewpubs down there? I'm in Raleigh, but if you put together a munch or something in Greenville, I'd gladly drive down. I'm only gonna be in NC for about three more weeks though, then I'm west coast bound. Good luck!
  9. ^ meddles not in the affairs of dragons. Wishes he could find trustee for his diaper stash.
  10. Molicare Super Plus look like this:
  11. Granted: Juliabam has a very pleasant bank holiday, at least until her wine, which is very bubbly, drives her crazy gossiping incessantly about the grapes on the next vine over. I wish I could've gone to the F1 Belgian Grand Prix at Spa this past weekend.
  12. If you only get it on your hands, you're not doing it right! This might be TMI, but at various times I've had to wash pillowcases, my hair, my girlfriend's hair, and even the headboard. Never hit the ceiling fan, but got close. So yes, condoms make cleanup *much* easier.

Hello and welcome to DailyDiapers, Summerdaze! I hope you make lots of friends here and find plenty of topics to not only lurk in, but contribute to as well. Don't be shy with the questions, either. Somebody here has already wondered and found an answer for pretty much any ABDL-related question you can think of. Cheers!

    Truth Please

Ditto. Just a good 'ol southern boy who happens to like diapers. A lot.
  16. I can probably help you with pictures of the diapers or boxes, as I have a fairly extensive collection of vintage baby diapers. As for the Luvs Deluxe, considering a package can go for $400+ on eBay, you're not likely to find any for free. If you'll give me a list of ones you are especially interested in, though, I could make you a tailored sampler box with one or two of each kind in it, and sell it to you for a significant discount over eBay market prices. Just PM me if interested. Good luck in your search!
  17. Hmm. All the Walmart and Rite-Aid stores here carry Depend Fitted Maximum Protection, which are still plastic-covered, and quite soft & comfy in my opinion, though they are certainly thin. I'm shocked that no store in your area carried Depend. Agree wholeheartedly.
  18. Where did you find this information? Do you know a more exact timeframe? Thank you!
  19. The original space diapers, called Maximum Absorbency Garments or MAGs (as Bettypooh mentioned, and in keeping with NASA's fondness for acronyms), were expensive, custom-made absorbent underwear. Later, NASA decided they could use an off-the-shelf disposable diaper. Contrary to rumor, they don't use Depend brand--they use a brand called Absorbencies which is no longer available. However, NASA purchased a stockpile of 3200 diapers, of which I'd guess about 1000 remain. Just curious: Has anybody here every tried the Absorbencies brand? I can't find any other references or pictures of them. The original MAG: Absorbencies MAG (adult diaper): Source: LA Times NASA Diapers Story
  20. YOU ROCK! So when are you and Darkfinn and I gonna go diaper shopping*? * Only half-kidding. I've only got a few more weeks in NC and I'd love to meet you guys at least once before I go.
