  1. OMG WHAT is HAPPENING??? I had to read this several times, but it's right there! You are actually agreeing with Adrian! This is an unprecedented, monumental moment in the history of this board. While you both often bring up valid arguments with each other, I'm afraid that this has brought my entire understanding of the universe crashing down. This could be compared to Batman inviting Joker over for a beer, or maybe Mario calling up Bowser and telling him "You keep the princess, she's eating all my mushrooms anyway!" What's next? Are you going to tell me that Obama actually was born in Hawaii and they just released his birth certificate for all to see???.....
  2. He's right, they had a saying. You can get a waiver for anything.
  3. Ok, first off you're not going to be able to discreetly bring anything into boot camp, so the clamp thing is out. You will not have ANY privacy there at all. They'll make you send home all your personal effects in a box in the first few hours. When I was there they made everyone strip naked and change into the clothes they issued us, so no chance of hiding anything in your clothes. You might be able to get away with limiting fluids, but hard to say, maybe not. DO NOT lie on their forms, if you lied to them you will probably get into trouble if you are found out. If you told the truth on the intake forms and they still let you go in spite of your wetting issues, you won't get into trouble, but still may get discharged. I think you need to also consider the great deal of stress you will be under while you are in there, it will be quite a shock at first, not sure how that will affect your situation. Also, if you do have an accident, you will be sleeping in the same room with maybe 80 other men. If you have an accident, as soon as even one of them finds out (and they will), the rest of them will know within a couple minutes. I can't imagine the humiliation that would come with that. I have to give you a lot of respect for even considering this! You are very brave. I guess the bottom line is DO NOT GIVE THEM FALSE INFORMATION. Tell the complete and whole truth on all the forms regarding your condition. If you do that and they still take you, they can't put you in jail or anything like that since you were up front with them about it. If you were to lie and were discovered later, you would not be in trouble for bed wetting, it would be for FRAUDULENT ENLISTMENT just as the others have said. Your condition wouldn't really matter much other than the fact that you lied about it. TELL THE TRUTH!!!
  4. Wow, you go ahead and make an ass out of yourself and jump to false conclusions. Nowhere in my post did I say that I wanted to do this out in public! The only person that might hear it is my wife, and you better believe that she already knows that I'm wearing and is fine with it. I very rarely wear out in public anyways, and I try to be as discreet as possible when I do. You should try to at least take a deep breath and learn to spell "incontinent" before you mindlessly jump all over somebody on here without thinking it through.
  5. I was just wondering if anyone has any ideas how to make wetting as loud as possible. I want to be able to hear it when I wet a diaper. Normally if I wear the diaper loose and point "it" up, I can sometimes get some wetting noises, but it seems to be hit & miss. I just want it to be as loud and obvious as possible that I am wetting my diaper.
  6. I would sure like to know what the freakin surprise is! Where are these new products that they have been going on about since last summer? I emailed them last July, they said they would be out in 45-60 days. Then I emailed again around October and was told it would be after the new year. Now here it is May, over a month since their last note promising that they will be coming soon. What gives? I don't like being strung along like this, I want to know what's going on... if there are no new products or they have been scrapped just tell us, we can take it! One of you on here knows something, I'm sure of it! You had better spill the beans as I have ways of getting information out of you. Perhaps I'll try "Diaperboarding", none of you will stand a chance.
  7. I second that. There is no need for personal attacks. Babyforyou, I disagree with pretty much all of your posts yet I have not spoken up and called you nuts, or criticized your horrific grammar and spelling. Posts of that nature do nothing to contribute to the generally positive nature of this forum. In case your parents did not teach you any manners, I will spell out a couple of things for you to think about. "Treat others as you wish to be treated." "If you don't have anything nice to say, don't say anything at all." And one last thing, if all you are going to say in response to my post is "LOL," don't bother!!!
  8. You guys sure like to pick on Adrian for "going on and on" about Bambino diapers... not sure why that surprises anybody. This is after all the freakin' Bambino thread!!! I mean seriously, she actually NEEDS to use diapers and she has found the one product that works best for her. I would be pretty excited about that too!!! That's what people do when they find something that they really like , they tell other people about it in the hopes that others will be able to enjoy it too! For example I drive a beat up 22 year old Toyota with 315,000 miles on it, and i just love it. I would drive it across the country in it's current state and not worry one bit that it would break down. I'm convinced that it will go forever, and I will tell anybody who asks me and even people who don't that Toyotas are awesome. I think it's ridiculous to criticize someone simply for sharing their thoughts, I mean if you don't like it just move on. Many on this forum have become quite negative over the last while, if you don't have something nice to say, don't say anything at all. And always remember this... It is better to be thought a fool than to open your mouth and remove all doubt.
  9. I sent an e-mail to Bambino asking about their new product in July. They said to look for something in 45-60 days. Then I emailed again in September, they told me to wait till after the first of the year. Now I hear the end of the first quarter. WTF!!! I want to know what it is! I just can't wait any longer!!! I'm dying of suspense. What's the freaking surprise already? Tell me what it is or I will tip your car over.
  10. Man, all you guys really crack me up sometimes! The reason this thread is 44 pages long is because you guys are constantly bickering about weather or not Bambino and Secure are the same company, or if they sell the same diaper. They are obviously closely related, if not owned by the same folks... but in the end, who the hell cares? Does it make any difference besides giving you something to bicker about? As for their products, apparently some of you guys are blind, there are some differences besides the tape area. For one, the Secure's don't have a front waistband, and also, there's a big blue rectangle inside the middle of the diaper... not sure how nobody noticed THAT but it was definitely there last time I used them. Anyway, there is obviously enough differences to say for sure that each brand comes from a different batch. They probably do use the same machines to make them, but they obviously make some significant changes between the different production runs. Anybody with half a brain should be able to see that this would save them money, and I'm certainly not complaining about their lower prices... I don't mind saving money either. THEY ARE A BUSINESS, they are in this to MAKE MONEY!!! If they can cut costs by making a similar product, they will obviously do it! I've bought them both, as well as many other brands, and will continue to do so. I like their Biancos better simply because they DON'T have any of that writing on them... to each their own.
  11. Well, I've found it! The Secure Premium diapers are EXTREMELY loud! Their tapes and fit are a little weird though. I usually wear a medium of ALL other diapers I've tried, and am right in the middle. These just fit too small, I can barely wear them. I emailed them about it, we'll see what they do soon I guess. I've definitely found a nice loud diaper for my stash though! These are WAY louder than any of the other secure products or bambino, but a lot less absorbent.
  12. I usually wear the Bambinos which I don't really find all that crinkly. I haven't tried either in a while, but I remember the Depends and the Abena Supers to be quite crinkly. I want to find the noisiest diapers that I can get, absorbency isn't that big of an issue, as I can always use one of the Bambino boosters. The Abena X-plus also seem pretty noisy until they are wet, then they swell up so much that the plastic doesn't move much which is pretty much what happens with the Bambinos. What do you guys think?
  13. I think your plan would probably be a bad idea. Would it be such a bad thing if she was just doing all this to make you happy, after all, marriage IS all about compromise right? I think you would be better off to just ask her. It's not so obscure in my relationship. My wife doesn't like it, she tolerates it on rare occasions, but I know that it is something that REALLY turns her off. I was able to talk her into wearing a couple times, but I don't bother with that anymore, it's not worth the trouble and she hates it. If she is pretending to like it for you, I think you have a loving wife that is trying to make you happy. Why else would somebody do that?
  14. Ya, and that is about the exact description of when I did it the first time. The diapers back then weren't as good as they are now though. I was I high school the first time I did it, and man, what a rush.
  15. These should actually work out to be less absorbent than an Abena. They rated these Wellness diapers to hold 87 oz. or about 2600 ML. Abena rates the Med X-Plus to be 3600 ML, which works out to about 122 oz. which is significantly more than these. If you look at the diaper test page on XP Medical's site, they only rate the X-Plus to be about 75 oz. SO, I think it's pretty safe to say that even though it could actually hold that much in their manufacturers tests, you would not actually see that amount of absorbency in actual use.
  16. I had emailed Bambino around the 10th of July or something like that asking about any new products they have coming out... This is what they said: ME: "Your home page mentions there may be new products coming up in the coming months, any more news on new products???" Bambino: " All our new products will be introduced on the first page of the website around 45 to 60 Days. Stay Tuned!! -Bambino Customer Service-" That was a while ago now, so I expect we will see something new in the near future... what it will be I don't know, but I'm EXCITED!
  17. Those are all good ideas. The zoo does sound fun, but some people probably wouldn't want to pay admission. I guess maybe a food court at a mall would be a good idea. Or maybe at a park or something? Thoughts?
  18. Anyone interested in a NW Washington meetup? I've never met anyone else into diapers, and I guess that sort of bugs me. I would like to remedy that. I am willing to drive as far south as Seattle and the date is up for discussion (would like to do it before the end of the summer), but this is something that I would like to do. I would like it to be in a very public place, but somewhere that we could all talk without drawing a lot of attention to ourselves. I am very much a closet DL, and I would like to keep it that way. Maybe on the lawn at a busy park or something? Any ideas?
  19. I have been reading this thread for a while, and am rather envious of your situation. All I can say is please don't screw it up! You've got a good thing going here. I've been with my wife for about 6 years and married for 1. I would probably never wear 24/7, but I would definitely wear more than I do now if it wasn't for her. I screwed things up for myself by having some bad leaks in our bed and really soaking the bed in the middle of the night. She is deathly scared of the leaks and has said from the start that she doesn't mind them as long as it all stays contained. I can tell the diapers annoy her but she loves me enough that she can look past it. If I wanted to force it on her I could probably do more, but I love her and I want her to be happy too! Anyway, she has accepted the DL side of me, but it's not something that will ever turn her on. She's worn for me before on several occasions, but it was pretty obvious that she hated it, so I quit trying with that. All I can say is that your GF doesn't mind you wearing to bed or wherever else within reason pretty much whenever, AND she has a hot friend that is down with the diaper scene too! I have never met anyone in my life in person that was turned on by diapers, not anyone not once!!! I suppose I could go to one of those meetups or something, but I'm not sure how I would explain that to the wife since diapers are somewhat sexual for us and all. Just please don't do anything without really thinking it through. Just take a moment to really appreciate what it is that you have here.
  20. [quote name='Bella ' date='23 July 2009 - 10:21 PM' timestamp='1248412880' post='216398'] I didn't realize there were such a large amount of abdls who were also bbw admirers... or whatever you wanna call it. I'm larger, and always thought that people would rather see a small, petite girl in diapers.
  21. Would being a baby banker make me eligible for government bailout money?
  22. What is this baby banker status that you speak of?
  23. Adrian, I have to disagree with you though, I don't think the Bambinos are thicker than Abena X-plus when they're dry. I think they do hold a little more, but I think they start out thinner. They are however much better than the Abenas and anything else I have tried for that matter. I think the Bambinos may just be more compressed to fit them into smaller bags, and I wouldn't be opposed to them making a thicker variety. Well, whatever product, or products they come out with I'm sure they'll be a hit. I know I will try whatever it is as soon as it becomes available. It seems to me that the two things I see people requesting on here the most are extra thick diapers and diapers with a different pattern. I think they should do BOTH. Whatever happens, they need to make sure that they do whatever it takes to stay profitable, because I would be pretty upset if they went out of business!
  24. $25 from Amazon, that should put you over the top. It's the least I could do, I'm on here almost every day, though I hardly ever post. I'm working on it though.
