  1. Not so much binging but I think I've stocked up more than necessary on a few occasions. My budget (and my drawer) has its limits though. Since diapers don't really perish It just meant that I wouldn't need to buy any for a while and could spend that money elsewhere. Since I'm still kind of coming to terms with ABDL I've found that having a bit of a stash makes for a good affirmation that it's okay to be into diapers.
  2. This is something I'm still learning myself but being kind to others and not being taken advantage of doesn't need to be mutually exclusive. What has been working well for me is to treat everyone I come across politely and respectfully. This has two major benefits as doing so makes you appear more sociable while also maintaining an aura of mutual respect and distance. This kind of posture makes you appear generally friendly but won't be mistaken as naivety by those who would take advantage of you when given the chance. People like that exist but are far from the majority in my experience. One piece of general advice given in therapy is to mistrust generalizations like this, especially your own. It's very tempting to think of your current experience as objective reality and a good remedy for this is to ask yourself if thoughts patterns like this hold true when looked at through a different lens: -How many people in the world actively take advantage of those who try to help others ? The majority ? Everyone ? -Does your own experience reflect the general truth of the matter ? -Do you really have it harder than others ? Everyone else ? I used to have quite similar thoughts (and sometimes still do) and while neither your problems nor mine should be considered small by anyone else that does not make other people's problems any smaller either. The lesson I've learned some time ago is that you're going to have to look pretty hard to find anyone in the world whose shoes you'd have an easier time to walk in than your own.
  3. I'd agree with the woman in question if I was involved in this in any way. The area is designed specifically for children so it's probably not the best location of choice for any kink-related activities. Whether or not ABDL means something sexual or not to anyone individually doesn't matter in that context. There are certain groups who would all too happily use incidents like this as further justification for their own agenda and have never been shy about bending the truth in whatever way they need to in order to achieve this. The only effective weapon against these groups in the long run is to practice common sense as to not give them more ammunition than they will already find on their own.
  4. Reading that there are gay bars who actually host events like that is making me a little jealous honestly but on the other hand it's good to hear that there are hosts who are open-minded enough to do this. It'd take a lot of courage but I'd definitely give it a try if I ever hear about an opportunity anywhere nearby.
  5. It's something I personally wouldn't try in the gay locations I've been to. In the saunas it wouldn't really be possible anyway and the bars were usually full of gossip and I've seen people getting torn into, usually in their absence, for much, much less than wearing diapers. Now you could be the kind of person that doesn't give a toss about what people say about them behind their back but I have often found that to be easier said than done. That being said I have worn fetish items to such places before but always in a way that you couldn't tell just by looking. With diapers though I'd be super careful as getting casually groped is something that can happen and if I was wearing then it'd be obvious by that point. While that is only my opinion I think a very personal kink like this shouldn't be casually shared with just anyone as not everyone is going to be understanding or even tolerant of everything, gay or not.
  6. Something I'd be curious about is the question as to how aware the general population is about ABDL being a thing. I agree that people are usually too busy with their own lives to notice anyone wearing diapers under their clothes and most of the time I wouldn't be sure either if I didn't know I was wearing. However if someone was to notice them, especially on a younger adult, I wonder about the chances of the person assuming it to be a fetish thing or some kind of medical condition and what they'll think if their conclusion is the former one. The reason I'm wondering is that I've noticed more and more often that I overhear "normal" people casually talking about stuff they see on the internet that would make me blush if someone were to ask me about it. Perhaps people in general are crazier and more colorful than I give them credit for ?
  7. Honestly I might actually give this a try, although with how thick it's been applied in the article I can't imagine that feeling comfortable to go to sleep with, not to mention it being all over your pillow in the morning. I already use similar products to counteract the skin irritation that comes from frequent washing and shaving and even after all those years the facial area is the one that keeps giving me the most issues.
  8. I used to be more into gaming but over the years found myself with less and less time to actually play them much. It being cold and rainy/snowy outside is a good opportunity to actually play on more than just the odd occasion. Doing so with diapers and snacks can be pretty relaxing, especially with retro games from the Snes and Psx era.
  9. I have noticed something similar for a while with a lot of parents using strollers for children who seem way too big to be using them. While it always looks a little strange to me I do wonder if the child in the stroller has some sort of condition, something that isn't always immediately obvious, or is just really tall for their age. I've done a little reading on this and some parents do seem to practice these sorts of things for their convenience more so than the child's well-being, which is terrible if true. However when I do see such things I prefer to err on the side of caution and assume that there is a valid reason for the child being in a stroller or in a diaper. I can't really imagine how having your child in a diaper is in any way more convenient than them just using the bathroom on their own.
  10. For me the best opportunity to wear and use diapers in public has always been on days where I know I'll be spending the day out by myself anyway. That could be for instance if you go hiking, cycling, or on shopping trips or whatever you do when you spend time outside by yourself (or with people who know that you wear diapers and don't mind that you do). I realized fairly quickly that it can be convenient as well. If there's no clean bathroom nearby, or none at all you can just use your diaper. It's easy to hide too since you can keep spares and other supplies in a secondary bag and just keep that in your hand- or backpack. Another thing you could do is to experiment by combining the diapers with various toys. I for one have grown quite fond of those wireless vibrating eggs since you can just keep the remote in your pocket or use your phone if that is an option. Depending on one's budget the opportunities nowadays are quite staggering.
  11. Where can I find this porn you speak of ? All I get are ads for adult diapers and stuff directly related to it. I have no idea why. As for the opening question. I do enjoy porn but it is something that can just as easily be avoided if I'm not interested. I find that the really obnoxious advertisements (for porn and other stuff) are usually found on sites that you would do well to avoid in the first place. I think unobtrusive advertisements that are at least related to the theme of the site you're browsing is as good as it gets other than having no advertisements at all.
  12. I have one of those animal onesie pajama/costumes. It seems to be designed to be used as a costume for occasions like Halloween but the way it is made makes it impossible to use the toilet without taking it off completely. While I only use it for sleeping or comfort I always wear a diaper under it or else I'd have to go naked just to go pee since the section around the waist is completely closed with no zipper or anything. I don't really get how it is supposed to be used outside as a costume without wearing protection under it. I also find that I drink a lot more fluids while wearing since I don't have to worry about going to the bathroom constantly.
  13. I'm already imagining a teenage bunny in a wolf suit now: It's not a phase mom !!! 😾
  14. I think that would be more appealing as a fantasy. In reality there'd be the issue that unlike in a fantasy you'd be unable to pick your species. Assuming it would be like the real, current world, all of the problems would persist as well and we've only just recently managed to mostly not make a big deal out of our own minor differences and even that only just barely. Since your fursona is already an idealized version of yourself one can try to formulate some of those ideals in reality, whether that be physically or mentally. In that way you can become your alter ego even outside of the fantasy aspects of it. Stuff like working out, doing martial arts, being a book worm, being kind to others or whatever virtues you have given your furry self. 😸
  15. I think that pulls ups are convenient sometimes, for instance if I want to change just before bed but know that I have to get up early the next day and would have to waste a nearly or completely unused diaper before getting in the shower. (Wearing at work is not an option for me unless I actually had to.) That said my main gripe with them is that the leg guards are very narrow on every brand I've tried and easily lead to skin irritation. I have been unable to find any pulls ups with wide enough leg guards to prevent this from happening. I'm not sure why they are made this way since I can't imagine that being comfortable if you had to wear those on a daily basis. I just keep a pack of them around for occasions like the one mentioned above.
