Haha, I wonder what it is, must be bad considering Carly doesn't want even Amanda to know about it? Lso haha I knew you would end the chapter right there with another cliffhanger - except we can't even call it a cliffhanger seeing how the queen of evil cliffhangers raised the bar so high 😁

Damn I've been wrecked this week, only commenting now to help with engagement before Sofia posts the new chapter. There are genuinely more people in Sofias stories than I can keep track of. I know we had doctor Nash before, she was one of the nice professors - but there also was a very similar second nice professor that I can barely tell her apart from? Maybe I'm just bad at memorizing characters in stories... For some reason Megan having biological kids beside Meggy still weirds me out... Might be the fact she's the "baby of the family" so she doesn't get taken seriously enough to have kids of her own? Haha I'm glad they had a chance to blow another restaurant's collective mind with Carly's love for spicy food! Nice chapter, starting to wonder when things will start to derail again. Also, my money's on Carly ending up nursing from Lilly!

I wrote out a long-winded reply but realized I can't quite put into words what I wanted to say, so I procrastinated and started reading Madison's Code instead, which turned out to be the best story I think I've ever read ^.^ What I can say, though, is that your stories are quite educational due to how they challenge the popular definitions of good and bad like you mentioned there! And I'm not saying nasty people doing nice things and vice versa isn't realistic - it totally is! There sure is no such thing as plain one or the other. But I do think this is actually what often makes us readers so emotional, because it completely eschews the traditional singular notions of good and bad we grew up with, making it feel wrong in a way?

This is it. This must be it. I'm pretty sure this is THE. BEST. STORY. I've ever read. Period. I have no words for how good this story is and what it made me feel.. It's literally perfect. And the end.. <discreetly wipes tears from the corner of his eyes> was perfect too :') No abusive characters, no characters that are even more wretched than ordinary people are in real life, and cuteness overload. Honest cuteness. (whatever that means) I found so much of myself in Jamie, it felt super relatable to me.. And the depth of the characters! Everything is psychologically so accurate. Ugh, I have no words for how much I love it. And as if that wasn't enough, there's the poetic way much of it was written to top it all off. The way you made words convey the feeling was just chef's kiss! Sophie, thank you SO MUCH for posting this; I totally understand how it's very personal, and I think that's what makes it so relatable for all of us too! Personally I really enjoyed your pace of a small asthmatic turtle, more so than in your other stories actually, where the pacing always feels a little rushed to me, but that's probably because I'm an asthmatic turtle myself ;D I was just about halfway through this story when I HAD to share it with my bestie, and she totally shared my sentiment about it being the best story ever! So I'm mentioning this here because she didn't leave a comment :)) Honestly... If I won the lottery, I'd pay you full time to write stories just like this till funds run dry XD Seriously, this is "I need the PDF version" levels of good, which is a way I've only felt about very few other works so far :') I've mentioned this to multiple authors, possibly to you as well already at some point, but I'm keeping a list of authors that I absolutely have to send some monetary love to as a payment for the joy you all have made me feel in dark times, so you can definitely expect to see me on your SubscribeStar someday, hopefully soon, when I manage to get halfway comfortable myself. ❤️

Haha we knew Beth would stay! Great chapter, I'm glad we didn't get tortured by another cliffhanger at the end of the book 😜 I'm still pretty sure Carly will ultimately stay in the diaper dimension, but they might get there in some roundabout way after Beth working at an embassy somehow fails...

Great, tomorrow is Friday so we'll find out if Beth stays despite common sense begging her to get the hell outta there! I guess my comment is pretty late, was pretty busy this week :(( I really like the way Charlotte handled the request for an interview! Very grown-up 😂 It's good Charlotte hasn't changed her stance even under a lot of scrutiny from the press; she's definitely one of the good ones. I'm rooting for Mia and/or Reila to be adopted by her if they're found too regressed to take care of themselves So they're having Ivy fix the whole mess, great. 'If she fixed SafeFoods, she might as well fix the university too' is what they thought I guess. Interesting point about the affected littles and mids in the event of the school shutting down! Reila is definitely better off being taken care of by Lilly in the nest than by her crazy bitch of a mother, and Mia almost certainly won't meet the criteria for being able to take care of herself at this point... And if Emerson ceases to exist, all the exchange students' visas will be revoked and they can't go back home! If Carly is luckily, she won't even have decide between leaving Beth to go back to earth or giving up on ler previous life to stay in the DD forever after all, it'll be taken care of _for her_ 😁

Well, after reading another of Sophie&Pudding's utterly psychologically f**ked up creations yesterday I'm all out of reactions, so I can't even give this chapter its well-deserved like right now! 😥 I'll be sure to do so as soon as I get new ones and leave an appropriate comment though :)

Damnnnnn... (oh right, no swearing) If I need my fix of utterly psychologically f**ked up fiction I'll read a Sophie&Pudding story... Like.. seriously! And island of people completely isolated from the world, believing 'their ways' are better than what the rest of the world does, all while being riddled with prejudices. But "Oh It'S mOrE nAtUrAl!" This particularly hits home for me because I'm from a homeschooling family where EVERYTHING had to be done different because "kids are forced to grow up too fast" and "it's more natural to let things develop at their own pace" After all, who cares if the kids end up 10 years behind the curve and fail to bridge the massive ocean between how they got used to things growing up and how things work in real life? Ugh. And all with the sweetest of intentions. Sorry. I guess I am from Lillikol. And this story cost me a lot of sleep! (because I just couldn't put it down) Yesterday I spent pretty much all day reading this instead of working, since the only way was to get it out of my system. All this is to say, it was a spectacular story and you two are seriously capable of stirring emotional response in your readers! I hate how literal abuse is apparently perfectly normal on this island. And until towards the end practically every character managed to be more or less of a jackass all while being totally nice at the same time. I'm glad things become a little clearer over time. Lyon is a genuine dick, it was hilarious and I absolutely loved how Maisie dumped him. I have to say, Mace and Sugar seriously lost my respect with this decision. Just forcing it onto her was like the worst decision ever, even if it apparently worked in some twisted way. And I'm really glad that Maisie and Cora ended up together! Obviously not even rampant sexism can extinguish homosexuality! (surprise...) But yay. Interestingly, the trademark Sophie&Pudding plot twist wasn't really strong enough that I noticed it? It is, however, the first story from you two I've read that has a sort of actually happy ending! Which I'm really glad abou! Anyway, sorry if this comment makes no sense at all, I'm super tired for some inexplicable reason. P. S. (and I hope this doesn't set off yur self-doubt!)
