24/7 for one year! Update on my journey
Princeoftoddlers replied to Princeoftoddlers's topic in Incontinent-Desires
Sure is an interesting feeling. Only seems to happen when I suddenly drink a fair amount of fluids. It has happened a few times now. My normal pees are just short bursts. At least so far. But man not even being able to hold myself for an hour... 😄 -
24/7 for one year! Update on my journey

Little update here, a couple days ago I was a bit dehydrated I think since I had hardly been peeing. so I drank 32 ounces of water and shortly afterwards I had a sudden and moderately strong urge to pee. I decided to see how long I could hold it instead of doing what I usually do when I feel any urge to go which is to immediately soil my diaper without resisting. The answer was only 40 minutes by which point it was very uncomfortable and was making me do the potty dance. I let go and felt relief even though only a small amount came out. After a few seconds, a little more came out. Then after a few minutes I had another urge to go and certainly didn't have any want to try and hold it again so I let loose. Just a small stream came out and lasted for a few seconds. It's so exciting seeing my efforts to unpotty train actually starting to pay off in spades. 😁 -

Thanks! I just tried today to hold it out of curiosity. It was uncomfortable and I decided I didn't like the feeling and just let myself go. Not much even came out even though I felt pressure to go. I'm so used to having spare diapers and supplies with me at all times that it's not even something I really think about anymore. Couldn't care less if someone can tell I'm wearing a diaper either. It's scary at first but just push past that fear and you'll be fine. Most people are too focused on the busy world around them to notice you and even if they do it's not like they'll say anything to you. -

Thanks! I haven't gone diaperless to test anything. For one thing I already got rid of all my big boy undies and for another I'd be worried about potentially undoing my hard earned progress by doing that. I do wonder how much control and capacity I really have now but considering I get the sudden urge to pee but then not a lot comes out I'm willing to bet that it's definitely on the decline. -

I'm not in a relationship so don't have to worry about that. I think my job knows I wear diapers due to the occasional smell, I bring my lunch bag, which also has changing supplies in it, into the bathroom with me when I need to change, sometimes I may have a bit of a bulge in my pants. Work places now are terrified of a discrimination lawsuit so no one has said a word to me. Obviously you'd just assume it's medical related. That gives you a societal pass to poop your pants. It's easier to just tell people you need to wear diapers and just leave it at that if someone says something though. It's not a lie since mentally I do and physically I might now as well. If they ask how long I've been wearing them I just say a long time. You don't want to say I just started wearing recently even if it's true because then they may become concerned for you. When my friend found out he was like "oh I never knew that, I guess I just didn't pay attention to it". He saw some of my supplies and asked me about it. It was left at that. My mom knows I wear and use them by choice and was more understanding about it when I told her it helps my stress and anxiety. She is the only one I talked to 100% openly with and she was accepting. Hell, I even showed her my printed onesies and she called them "cute". I'm sure I've been wetting the bed too. I was a bed wetter as a kid. I honestly missed wetting the bed. I grew out of it but hated the feeling of a full bladder in the morning. My poor body tries to hold it in all night. I guess it prioritizes sleep. There have been a few times throughout 2024 where I woke up soaked. Happened more often in the second half of the year. Other times I don't know if I wet in my sleep but I pee myself right when I wake up and it's not a huge amount so I must be. I wear thick ABDL diapers to bed so it's difficult to know for certain. I hear it's easier to become a bed wetter again if you were one as a kid and you go back to diapers. Brain probably subconsciously remembers "Hey! I can pee myself because I'm in a diaper again! No need to wake up!" -

It's been a few months since I've given an update here. I know many people are curious how far they can expect to come when trying to become reliant on diapers over time. It's now been just over a full year of wearing diapers 24/7 and the changes are still happening to me. Slow as they may be to develop. You definitely have to be patient and truly want this because it's a very slow process. That said, I do have some exciting developments. I'm now easily able to pee myself while laying down on my side. I barely even have to push anymore. Sometimes my body just does it on its own and I don't have to put in any effort. I could still stop it if I wanted to. Of course I never try to though. Wetting while laying on my stomach has been one of the more challenging things to accomplish but this is now finally getting easier as well. I have to push a bit to get it started but then once the flow starts it all comes out. At least I don't have to sit up or roll on my side anymore. This is a new development and I'm a side sleeper so this is probably just a result of weakened control rather than practice. I'm usually not on my stomach. Walking while peeing has been the most difficult out of everything for me. Progress is continuing here though as well. If I stop walking then start peeing I can walk again and I can feel it continue to trickle out. Then once I stop walking I suddenly pee some more. Probably just showing signs of overactive bladder and lessened control here? I welcome it if so. If I stay well hydrated I pee every 20 minutes give or take, in small amounts. On average I pee every couple of hours when I am not well hydrated usually in the morning but I always pee in a much smaller amount than I would have when I got an urge to pee 12 months ago. Bladder capacity is probably about half of what it used to be. Sometimes I hardly even feel it coming out but I know I'm peeing because my diaper will get warmer. As for bowels, farts just kinda come out without permission now. Poop can slide out almost on its own sometimes. I still feel when I need to poop and I'm sure I could still hold it if I wanted to. But I don't have to put effort in to filling a diaper anymore. A couple minutes after I get an urge, out it goes without me pushing. I just kinda stand there like a 2 year old and go. I do eat a lot of fiber and drink plenty of water so that of course helps. Don't get discouraged by the amount of time it takes, changes will happen but you have to stay committed. Make sure you push as little as possible. Just make yourself go on your own if you can so you aren't using your muscles down there. Water is your best friend. But DO NOT drink multiple bottles of water in a very short amount of time. Water poisoning is real. Drink a 16 ounce bottle and wait an hour or so then you can drink some more. It scares me when I read people online that drink before bed to the point where they're in pain. Drink over time rather than drinking a whole lot all at once. I know it's exciting to wet yourself, believe me, I know. But dependancy is a slow process. If you want to take a water pill or laxative, only take one in a 24 hour period and don't use them daily. You want reliance on diapers not supplements. Do I have any regrets? HELL NO! I still love this and I'm proud to have come this far. I feel like a toddler failing his potty training. 😝🚼

I'm on a high fiber diet and drink a healthy amount of water and tea throughout the day. Certain types of tea like catnip tea for relaxation at night to relax the muscles might be helping with my bedwetting but I don't know for certain. There have been a couple of times now where I wake up surprised to find myself in a soaked onesie. I've been strict with myself with staying on my diet but give myself positive reinforcement when I poop myself quite suddenly or wake up completely soaked and oddly refreshed feeling. Funny thing is that I'm probably healthier now than I've ever been before. Hygiene wise not so much. 😝

It's been quite gradual for the most part so far so you're probably right. But looking back it's satisfying how far along things have progressed. It's frustrating how long it takes but I won't stop because things are certainly changing!

That's one of the biggest reasons I decided to go 24-7. I want to be able to wet in my sleep without waking up. I know I need to take this all the way in order for it to happen. I'm a pretty heavy sleeper and I wet the bed throughout my childhood. Later on in life, my poor body would try to hold it all night long and I'd wake up with a lot of discomfort and really needing to pee. I think I'm going in my sleep again now though? Hard to say for certain because I'm already wet before I fall asleep and I wear quality diapers but the discomfort in the morning is gone and my bladder capacity is significantly lower now compared to what it was last year so probably. Either way, I don't want to live without a diaper on.

So it's already been 4 months since I first wrote about my journey of going 24-7. Now 8 months in. Time seems to move so slow when you first start going down this path. Everything is so new and exciting. It eventually becomes routine. That being said, progress is still moving along one phase at a time. I'm peeing in much smaller amounts now compared to when I started. A urine stream lasts only a few seconds and I'm done. It's also now very easy to let go in any position. If I drink a decent amount of water, I'll pee every 20 minutes repeatedly for a while. Again, small amounts every time. Doesn't have to be as much water anymore. As for bowel movements, now when I get the urge to poop my body seemingly automatically force pushes it out on its own within minutes. Regardless of what I've eaten or how much I've had to drink. Any regrets? No. The excitement of putting a diaper on may be gone but the enjoyment and comfort of it is very much still there for me. There's not a day that goes by where it doesn't put a smile on my face. Its definitely made me a happier and more chill person. It's been an interesting journey and I'm looking forward to whatever happens next.

4 months in to wearing and using diapers 24-7
Princeoftoddlers posted a topic in Incontinent-Desires
After being diapered off and on basically my entire life and missing the days where I'd frequently wet the bed when I was a kid, I decided to just start wearing and using premium diapers 24-7 in December 2023. I also recently started following the 12 month diaper training guide that gets mentioned here quite often and now in April 2024 I'm proud to say that I'm wetting frequently with strong sudden urges but not much comes out and also dribbling involuntarily post void. I also woke up to a wet bed last night without remembering peeing for the first time in many years and I couldn't be more proud of myself. This stage seemed to come recently and out of nowhere for me after only feeling like I needed to pee sooner than before and that was it for a long time. I'd wake up needing to pee, frustrated that my body woke itself up to do so, peed myself then went back to sleep. This is finally starting to change. So don't get discouraged or frustrated if you're trying to accomplish the same thing I have. Be patient, stay hydrated and wet yourself no matter what as soon as you feel the urge to pee. You have to act like you don't have any choice. It's a mental barrier that you must break because we were trained at a very young age that it's not okay to pee yourself. Tell yourself that it is okay even if you think you might leak. I'm Looking forward to continuing down this path and I'm looking forward to the point of no return. To those that think that it isn't possible to make yourself incontinent, my nose and sheets are saying otherwise right now...- 1 reply

This entire category does seem to be a strangely hot topic in the community. People will argue that it isn't possible to become diaper dependent and then others will argue that it is possible and I've seen it get pretty heated. Then there are people like me who stumble upon these arguments on the forums as we're just simply looking for advice on how to achieve our goals and we already fully understand what we're signing up for and are well aware of the consequences of diaper training ourselves. We've decided, as adults, that it is something that we genuinely want for ourselves and so we seek out forums about it only to get blind sided by people who are just wanting to argue with you about it with how it isn't possible or that it's self harm when so many people have given evidence that it is possible and provide entire backlogs of their journey and are happy with what they've done to themselves. But it's like that doesn't exist because well I didn't see it happen and you're not ACTUALLY incontinent even though many people started un-training and are now unable to make it to the toilet even if they wanted to. Which is the definition of incontinent? Personally I've been 24-7 for 4 months now and have definitely noticed changes in my pottying habits. I'm wetting far more frequently than I used to and dribbling without notice post voids. I even wet my bed last night without realizing it for the first time in many years. I guess I'm just imagining things though lol. For those that claim we shouldn't do this because it's self harm, this is a life altering decision and will not happen overnight so that right there should separate the ones that just have a fetish or whatever for the idea of it and those that TRULY want this. If you want to go there, then I'm allowed to criticize you for let's say, smoking. But that isn't my right to say what you can and can't do with your lungs now is it? There are ways to safely achieve this. Just using diapers at the first sign of the urge to go 24-7 for months on end does seem to weaken the ability to hold it to the point where you eventually won't be able to get to the toilet. Nothing else will happen, you're just now incontinent. There are far worse things you can do to yourself. They may technically be right that it is self harm in a way I suppose but it's your body so I don't see why anyone else should really care if this is something that you actually want to do. As with everything in life there are pros and cons. The people who argue with you and criticize you for this are better off ignored. If you understand the consequences and are willing to be patient with yourself to achieve incontinence, then just keep using your diapers and keep yourself hydrated.

I like to pee in my diaper as needed and poop in it if I'm not at work and the urge hits. I'll masturbate and then clean up when finished. Love all the sounds and smells.

I normally wear adult pull-ups to work but today I decided to wear a regular tape on diaper instead. I thought the bulge would be noticeable but it was probably just me being paranoid. Anytime I had to pee I'd just let go and keep working. They held it all no problem where as with pull-ups it likely would've been more of a challenge to hold everything. I did get the sudden urge to poop 30 minutes before my shift ended but thankfully I was able to hold it until I got home then I crapped myself. Felt SOO good to finally let myself go. I love all the extra padding that regular diapers have but I find that pull-ups are definitely easier to use on a daily basis if you still want the option to go potty in the toilet. Anyone else switch from pull-ups to regular diapers full time as their daily underwear? How did it go for you? Which do you prefer and for what reasons?
