  1. I was just wondering if anyone has any ideas how to make wetting as loud as possible. I want to be able to hear it when I wet a diaper. Normally if I wear the diaper loose and point "it" up, I can sometimes get some wetting noises, but it seems to be hit & miss. I just want it to be as loud and obvious as possible that I am wetting my diaper.

  3. I don't put any stock in dream interpretation. While I often use stuff that happens in my dreams, or characters that I encounter there in my writing, they don't have any meaning outside of the context of the stories they're in. Our dreams are most likely just our brains entertaining themselves while our body rests, using our thoughts and memories and imagination. I've looked up a lot of the common threads and stuff in my dreams with various dream interpretation sources and they're either all way off the mark, or are all conflicting over what it's supposed to mean. Or both. So, really, the question is: What do you think it means to you?

  6. All the diaper rash creams are roughly the same - zinc oxide based paste - and the more time that you allow it to absorb into the skin in the air (not covered by a diaper etc) the faster the healing time. If you have candia (yeast infection) noticeable by spots and some bleeding / oozing, then anti fungals are required to kill it - ie over the counter foot creams and/or disinfectant.

  7. It would be fitting justice to recover the money by selling all their personal information to every advertising list and spammer you can find. May they be deluged by so much shit in their lives that they need a snorkel. Hugs, Freta

  9. Don't want to get into political arguments, but........... I think David Cameron's Tories would be the worst thing to happen to the UK since Margaret Thatcher. They will make so many spending cuts, give the savings to the wealthy and the working man will be out of work. You're too young to remember what those Thatcher years were like. Mass unemployment, riots on the streets and a huge rise in crime. I won't go on, cos this isn't the place. Let us UK babies just be happy in our nappies

  10. There are many types of 'rash' that is called diaper rash, and the avoidance and cure of each depends on the rash, and its location. 1- Friction Rash - normally found on the inside leg, at the location of the elastics, or on the tip of the buttocks. Cause - Rubbing of diaper/plastic on sensitive skin area, elastic too tight, walking/moving in a cold wet diaper. Avoidance - Baby powder (reduces friction), looser diapers / plastic pants, change diaper before it gets cold. Cure - Wash in luke warm mild (teaspoon/gallon water) lemon solution followed by patting (not rubbing) dry, and lightly coating with zinc oxide based creme and allowing to absorb before re-diapering. 2- Skin Irritation - normally found in the creases of the skin, at the opening to the anus or bladder, or on the buttocks Cause - chemical (acid) reaction when urine and feces mix. Avoidance - Apply a barrier cream to the skin, paying attention to creases and edges (opening of anus or bladder) Cure - Sit in bath with luke warm water to dilute the acid. Rinse off, and allow to air dry. Mild cases don't require medication, more severe cases (where bleeding has occurred) require antiseptic cream, and time to allow cream to absorb. 3- Candia - normally shown as bright red spots that cover the diaper area. Cause - Yeast infection from long term sitting in damp / wet diaper where the diaper area has not been properly cleaned after previous diaper change. Avoidance - correct cleaning of diaper area between changes, and bath / shower after soiled diaper. Cure - since this is a yeast ingestion, without the introduction of antibiotics, this will continue to multiply. I strongly suggest a visit to your dermatologist who will prescribe a course of antibiotics. Apply / take as directed, but take precautions relating to cross contamination and reducing the possibility of spreading this infection. Basically, it is better to avoid these rashes, and basic hygiene principles and practices will ensure this. Baby designed diaper cream / rash cream in some cases work as cures, but have little to no benefit in prevention on an 'adult' body. A barrier cream to work on an adult body is one that contains high quantities of petroleum jelly, which will reduce both urine and feces touching the skin.

  11. It is choice that we wear clothes to cover and protect us from the elements, yet they are not mentioned within the bible. However, is it incorrect to shelter from 'the elements' since in some beliefs, they are gifts from God. I am not going to tell you how or what to believe, instead I am going to suggest that you make your choices based on education and fact, rather than cause someone told you so. Similarly, make the choice whether to wear diapers or not based on YOUR own free choice. To do any less, based on the teaching of the catholic faith, is throwing the gift of free will back in the face of God. Nothing above here should convince you to do either, as the intention is to get you to make your own choices based on your experience and information, and not based on someone else's belief. My own opinion is that religion is OK in moderation, as long as it is your own choice. Be true to yourself first.

  12. It is insane the way the few in business has forced the rest of us to behave. Currently, when a contract of business is agreed, 50% of the money is paid up front before any work is done, and the balance on completion. If the 50% is not there, no work is ever carried out, and usually the contract is terminated. This applies to everyone, including family and friends. Prior to the crash, most contracts were 25% completed before any renumeration was seen.

  13. P&G are continually facing a barrage of complaints from the 'Green' group, who try and find any excuse to force parents to ditch disposable diapers in favor of 'green' cloth diapers. The common complaint, and has existed since the introduction of SAP, is that the particles cause chemical burns, suck water from a babies skin and the plastic causes increased heat in the diaper area. Most of these statements are without any proof. The new attack and complaint on the P&G Dry Max range is, in my opinion, scare mongering. http://seventhgeneration.custhelp.com/cgi-bin/seventhgeneration.cfg/php/enduser/std_adp.php?p_faqid=1&p_created=1135021568&p_topview=1 In a diaper, pulp is not needed, but is used to provide a hold for the SAP. Pulp is actually slower at absorbing liquid than SAP. Pampers diapers absorb more than five times the average baby would produce, but it is the laziness of parents that force the baby to endure rash etc. It was this that introduced diaper rash (clamidia) to the western world. If a baby is in a cloth diaper, cold wetness will go back onto its skin, and the baby will notice, cry and get changed. In a disposable, the portion of wetness that goes back on to its skin is so much less, the baby doesn't notice it, and the diaper is not changed. Disposable diapers as a whole, has increased the laziness in parenthood who leaves their child in its own mess much longer, and then complains/sues P&G! If you doubt me, I refer to the McD coffee case.

  14. I would sure like to know what the freakin surprise is! Where are these new products that they have been going on about since last summer? I emailed them last July, they said they would be out in 45-60 days. Then I emailed again around October and was told it would be after the new year. Now here it is May, over a month since their last note promising that they will be coming soon. What gives? I don't like being strung along like this, I want to know what's going on... if there are no new products or they have been scrapped just tell us, we can take it! One of you on here knows something, I'm sure of it! You had better spill the beans as I have ways of getting information out of you. Perhaps I'll try "Diaperboarding", none of you will stand a chance.

  19. I can see why this would happen. The added SAP and thinner design (IE removal of extra fluff padding) would cause this. The SAP needs time to work, and the fluff padding gave it the time needed to do so. with out the 'acquisition layer' of fluff, any wetness just pools and puddles making for leaks while the SAP is trying to do it's job. Finding something better to act as an acquisition layer would help this, but the trade off would be more bulk...oh well. You would think that after making this product for over 30+ years they would have figured this out by now.

  20. DD / Mike, it seems crazy to me that someone would wish to risk their reputation for $30 odd. Current rate of exchange, that is approx. about €20, or £15 sterling, which in my mind, is a pittance. I'd suggest that you bring this a little further - i.e. publish in local papers requesting payment. I think that you are under no obligation to keep their name / details private. Theft is a prosecutable offence, and I think that under US law, you are obliged to inform the local police.
