About Me
I think I have been DL since about age 7. I had a spell of bedwetting after my father died, and my mother threatened me with nappies. Unfortunately she did so within the hearing of my elder brother who promptly baited and humiliated me for the next few days. It was his habit to do so. I was so frightened that I stopped bedwetting immediately, and she never carried out the threat. I think I have had the "bug" ever since, and I now find it a useful alternative when straight sex is not available. At my age I find that is increasingly the case - I'm not as pretty as I once was!
I used to make various nappies, and also made plastic pants (possible with mattress protectors, PVC adhesive, and patience) until I got on the internet in 1997, when I started to buy on the 'net. I've tried disposables, mainly for convenience and concealment, but, being a child of those times, I am mostly into cloth. I live alone and so it is not difficult to do the laundry and to maintain secrecy, and I've quite an extensive stash acquired over the years.
I've recently tried making my own rompers, using a tee shirt for the upper part and stitching the pants onto them. These have been very succcessful, and I can tell you how it's done if you want to try it. As well as some elementary needlework, I've a range of skills which include photography and creative writing, and the relevant computer skills to manipulate both pictures and words.
I'm only into wetting, and usually only at night. I've worn nappies out-of-doors on occasions, underneath a Barbour jacket which conceals both the bulge and the noise, and I've made some road journeys "padded out", and used them en-route. I've never spoken to another DL directly, although I used to visit Lisa's shop in Dagenham sometimes - what a pity it closed! - I visited Emma in Manchester, and I've bought disposables over the counter in French supermarkets. I've also imported items on several occasions without difficulty, although I mostly use Cosyndry and Shop4pvc nowadays. I am not too anxious to meet anyone face-to-face, but I find the general information that I get from the net is very useful, and there is some comfort in knowing that I am not completely alone.

Breaking the silence of an ancient pond
A frog jumps into water.
