Well, when you fire half your work force, demand the rest of them go to the office and stop working from home, then demand 80 hour work weeks of very hard work via email with a demand everyone reply either YES or NO from all your remaining employees or they too will be fired, I'm not surprised most of those who were left quit.  I don't have Twitter or Facebook, but wow.  Take a company and destroy it in a matter of a couple weeks.

The whole concept of surviving some type of doomsday/nuclear holocaust/zombie apocalypse is utterly ridiculous. No one seems to want to take the time to think out the long term consequences of surviving.

Firstly, every one of us is going to die eventually, so you're not really "saving yourself" you're just delaying the inevitable. Secondly, you want to live your life now but that is in a world where most of us can buy good food at the supermarket, have clean drinking water, transportation, heat, lights, appliances and entertainment. The post apocalypse world will not have those things. There are very few that would thrive in that environment. The people that did survive and do okay will still have much shorter lifespans due to the fact that they would not have the modern hospitals, doctors or prescriptions we have now. It's a bleak prospect when you really think about it.

Most American doors are paperthin and open inwards, easy to kick in, and the rest has glass in them.
