Anybody here use hearing aids?

Curious if anybody here uses hearing aids .I was fitted with ones today for mixed hearing loss mostly high frequancy and also some low frequancy loss.

Not yet, but probably going to be there eventually. Either that or the wife just speaks at a decibel level only heard by nymphs and other magical creatures. Need to call the ENT...

My hearing's still pretty good... it's my eyesight that's going.

I've had them for years now.  The first set were expensive from a medical hearing aid place.  The second set came from an online supplier (about 1/10 of the price)  and I like those better.  Your experience may vary.

I have had hearing aids for about four years.   While my intiial fitting was done at the Audiologist, I have purchased the programming device (and found the software) to adjust them myself.    I've even replaced the receiver/wires on one side (dang masks are hard on them).

Here where I am everything works through a health care provider if I would go private they would cost me 10x as much as through a provider.I cant complain about that and I can get any make and model that is avilable on the market.
