That's actually the default rule language of the software, not something I wrote. Still working on a Rules/FAQ for the board and site as a whole, but my time has been limited lately by work and illness.

That is pretty much a default-type thing for almost every message board software out there. In most cases that's all that is really needed, but usually it's re-written EVENTUALLY anyway to fit the specific message board it is being used on.

However, I got something that seems to work a lot better then any written set of rules. Basically it's called common sense - if in doubt about if certain content is permitted in a message, take a quick look to see if anyone else posted anything similar, and what came of it, if so - if not, compare the intended post topic, to what is being discussed on that forum in general, if it dose not "fit in", I wouldn't post it; at best you are likely to annoy people.

See there is the problem. The assumption that all our "senses" are "common".

Haven't you noticed the conflicts arising in here. Both sides feeling their sense is the more common.

Yes common sense does seem to just die from tome to time in here,but most people just let it go it is just a few that seem to drag it on and try to keep it alive. Any way if everybody would just try to be nice then everything would be ok and we ALL could have fun!
