LilZebra
Hi, I'm currently staying at a motel because I had to move out of a house for rent recently. I'm surprised that my room does not have a bed bug cover on the mattress. This past Monday I bought some disposables and am storing them in my room. I don't want to ruin their mattress if my diaper accidentally leaks in some way. So I am asking here, what should I do in this situation? Should I tell the motel manager(s) who are basically not good at understanding English if they have a PVC cover, or am I supposed to purchase one myself from Wal*Mart? What I had at my last home was a zippered bed bug cover and then a zippered PVC sheet on top of that. I'm there till early Aug. or until I find a place. Link to comment
Darkfinn
Sounds like a pretty shady place, I'd go purchase my own cover. Link to comment
stevewet
I they can't be bothered to protect their beds I wouldn't worry to much. You an always put a cheap cover on the bed. Link to comment
willnotwill
Chux (underpads) work fine if you don't move around over the bed real estate. Link to comment
Dartplayerinwvc
buy your own, or a shower curtain Link to comment
stevewet
From my experience Motel staff just don't seem to care if someone wets the bed. I've stayed in a couple of motel's in the U.S. where the beds had obviously been wet and the mattress just flipped and left to dry out on their own. Link to comment
