TBH I generally fall out of love with stories if there’s not much positive feed back, I mean I could write for myself but it’s nice to know that members want to read your work and enjoy it.

I’m sure with the right amount of encouragement I could revisit this in the very near future

I can't recall reading an intro even remotely similar to this, so high marks for originality!  But going forward, the ground will become more and more well-trodden.  Here's hoping that you will find a way to give an equally fresh look to well-established themes, or even create a few new ones of your own.
