A Summer's Regression

[robehouse]

"I hope so." Anna said.

Anna spun and moved. She landed on one of the ladders and moved her piece up to the top.

"Here I come."

[Skylove27]

"See you're catching up!" Paige says excited. Paige spun the wheel and got 6 so she went up 6 spaces. She pouted when she got a chute. She made her piece go down it.

[robehouse]

"Just a little." Anna agreed.

Anna watched Paige move and slide down the chute. Anna smiled a bit and spun, moving her piece forward landing on a spot just before a chute.

"Whew, that was close." Anna said.

[Skylove27]

Paige spun another 6 and didn't get to a chute or a ladder. "Well atleast I didn't get a chute. " She shrugged

[robehouse]

Anna nodded.

"Yeah, it is a good thing."

Anna spun a one and landed on a chute. She slid down.

"Looks like I wasn't so lucky."

[Skylove27]

"It's okay." Paige spun her turn. She landed on a ladder and got to go up three rows.

[robehouse]

"Yay, you got to up again!" Anna said.

Anna spun again and moved her piece, not landing on a chute or ladder.

"You're almost at the end. I think you're going to win soon." Anna said with a smile.

[Skylove27]

"Well you knows you might win. Hopefully neither of us land on 81 cause that has a long chute. You know the chutes look a lot like slides." Paige says as she spun her turn. She didn't land on a chute or ladder either.

[robehouse]

"Yes they do they do look a lot alike."

Anna spun and landed on a ladder. She moved her piece up.

"I'm moving up again."

[Skylove27]

"Yay! I hope I move up again on a ladder " Paige says and spun. She moved 3 but stayed at her new spot.

[robehouse]

"I hope so too."

Anna spun and moved her piece, landing just before a chute. She picked up her sippy cup and drank some juice.

"That was a close one!" Paige says. She took her turn and got 6. She almost got the ladder that would've taken her to the winning spot. But she was just one ahead of it now. "Aw! That would've been fun to get." She says. "I like that ladders"

[robehouse]

Anna smiled.

"Yeah that would have been neat."

Anna spun and moved her piece past the chute a couple of spaces.

Anna got up on her knees and waited for Paige to make her move.

Paige spun her turn. She moved her piece and now she was in the 80s row.

[robehouse]

(I don't really know too much about how to play chutes and ladders. I did look at a board online.)

Anna spun her turn and reached the 61st spot.

"I'm just under you know. I'm going to catch up now."

[Skylove27]

(All you do is spin the wheel there's only 1-6 and whoever you get, you move up the many. I wasn't looking at the board at all lol)

[robehouse]

(My internet is out, so I probably won't reply again until it comes back on. That may not be until Monday.)

Anna spun for her turn. She got a two, which landed her on a chute. She slid back two rows.

"Darn it."

Anna slapped her hand over her mouth.

"I'm sorry I said that."

[robehouse]

"Daddy doesn't like for me to swear. He says 'Darn' is a baby swear word, not as bad as the others, but is still a swear word."

Anna took another drink from her sippy cup.

[Skylove27]

"Darn it doesn't sound like a baby swear word. Kinda like ah shoot!" Paige says. Not realizing those could sound like bad words.

[robehouse]

Anna's eyes got big.

"He doesn't want me to say that either. He says those words are too much like real swear words, so he says not to use them."

Judy nodded her head.

"I see. Well we won't tell your daddy what you said, and it's okay to use those words here with us."

[Skylove27]

"What if he finds out she uses them here then won't let her play with me anymore?" Paige asks

[robehouse]

"I don't think that will happen. What does your daddy do when you use those words, honey?" Judy asked.

"He washes my mouth out with soap. Are you going to do that?" Anna asked.

"Well maybe if we do that then your daddy will be okay with you playing with Paige again. What do you think, baby?"

[Skylove27]

"Yeah but I don't want her mouth to get washed out with soap. That's yucky." Paige says frowning.

[robehouse]

"It's okay Paige. I'm used to daddy washing out my mouth. Your auntie can do it to me."

"Baby, why don't you stay here and take your turn? We'll be back in a couple of minutes." Judy said.

Judy took Anna's hand and led her to the bathroom.
