A Summer's Regression

[Skylove27]

"Yeah I like that idea!" Paige says hoping to not grow to attach to it like she did with her Elsa dress. She didn't wanna take that dress off even when she had to go night night.

Nancy smiled.

"Have you and auntie had tummy time yet, baby?" Nancy asked.

[Skylove27]

"Not yet! I was playing with my puzzles." Paige answered.

[robehouse]

"Okay, go ahead and work on your puzzles. Is it okay if auntie and I go talk in the kitchen while you do that? You can call us when you finish a puzzle." Nancy said.

"Okay! That sounds fine, Miss. Nancy!" Paige says smiling.

[robehouse]

Nancy smiled and went with Judy to the kitchen. Leaving Paige alone in the playroom.

Paige continued to work on her puzzle while they went to go talk.

Judy and Nancy sat in the kitchen drinking coffee and talking.

"Paige wants to go sleepover at Anna's house this weekend. What do you think?" Judy asked.

"I think it will be good for her. Right now she does everything with you or me present, or close enough to find us. She needs to learn that other people can take care of her as well, and she seems to like Sam." Nancy said.

"I know, but it it's going to be stressful. I don't know if she realizes I am not going. You're right, she needs to learn that it's okay for other people she trusts to change her diaper and take care of her." Judy said.

"We better go see how she's doing." Nancy said.

Paige was just finishing up the puzzle when they arrived back. She had two more pieces. "Look, it's almost done!" She says happily.

Judy smiled.

"Good job, baby! I bet I couldn't have put that puzzle together that fast." Judy said.

"Me either," agreed Nancy.

They watched as Paige put the last two pieces in the puzzle.

"What's the picture, baby?" Judy asked.

"It's a picture of Larry the Cucumber and Bob the tomato from Veggie Tales!" Paige says smiling. "I like this one!"

"Yes, I see it now. Good job on putting it together. Why not just leave it together for now? How about we go do tummy time in the living room? That is, unless you don't want to." Judy said.

"Okay. I wanna do Tummy Time!" Paige says excited and helps her arms up to be lifted up.

[robehouse]

Judy picked Paige up and carried her out to the living room. She laid her down on the pink blanket spread out on the floor on her tummy.

"Would you rather have auntie or Miss Nancy sitting in front of you?" Judy cooed.

Paige laid on her stomach she looked at her auntie. "You please." She says

Judy took a seat on the floor in front of Paige and Nancy sat off to the side. Judy picked up a pink rattle and shook it.

"Does baby want her rattle? Come on baby, you can get it." Judy cooed.

Judy held the rattle just out of Paige's sight and reach, so she would have to lift her head and look for it, as well as reach for it.

Paige lifted up her head hearing auntie said she had a rattle. She loved rattles! She tried to look around for it. Then she saw it and tried to reach for it.

Judy shook the rattle.

"That's right, baby! You can do it. Just a little more "Judy cooed.

Paige tried to scoot a little to reach for it. She managed to at least touch it. "I reached for it auntie." Paige says happily

Judy let Paige take the rattle.

"Good girl. Miss Nancy has Presley. Do you think you can look around and found them, baby?" Judy cooed.

[Skylove27]

"I love Presley. Remember when we got her at Sea World?!" Paige as she looked around for Nancy and Presley.

[robehouse]

"Yes baby. I sure do. I would never forget that day." Judy said.

Nancy clicked her fingers.

"Over her, baby." Nancy cooed.

Paige didn't even realize that she got distracted from the task. She saw Miss. Nancy and Presley, she got excited. She started to reach for her penguin.

Nancy held Presley just out of Paige's reach.

"Come on, baby, you can reach it." Nancy cooed.

Paige scooted herself a little towards Nancy wanting her penguin
