Edinburgh Museum of Childhood nappy display

Now THIS is a museum. And you can have your own, too

It was an outgrowth of the update and expansion attempt of the DD Diaper Museum that also included a few late 1950's Sears-Roebuck catalog pages that I sent to DailyDi alnog with these. which I do not know if that project went forward

The strangest pair of rubber panties that I saw was in 1969. They had a snap crotch and you unsnapped it and pulled them UP to change the diaper

I wonder if Angela Baur could add digital copies of documents from the early and "Golden" Age of cloth diapers

Are Terry Toweling Squares still in use in the UK? They certainly ought to be on display in the museum. Still a high quality nappy product.

Hi BigC300 - they are certainly still available, but i don't think they are used much.

Wow, that's great Daily Di, just how I remember it, although there was a couple of pairs of frilly or nylon covered plastic pants just to the left of the Duralite pants - not sure if they've been added since or perhaps they are just out of shot.

Still that's some fab pictures you've taken there!
