New Happy Family (Open)

I walk over to Sofia and gently close the door. "Sweetie, I'll get you some soup and water, and a pill to make that headache go away. Just lay down" I say whispering to you, making sure to cover your eyes with a warm, wet towel drenched in tea already. The remedy always seemed to help with the worst of your meltdowns

Sofia nodded, and put the blanket back over her head once Molly had left. She didn't understand why everyone had to be so loud, and why no one could understand her half the time or when she had meltdowns.

Ashley began to fuss still being in the playpen and wanting out to see daddy being a daddies girl. Her diaper was soaked and her pacifier was on the other side of the playpen

I walk over to Ashley, looking at her drooping pants. "Uh oh, I think someone needs a change huh." i say giggling a bit. I smile as i bend down to give you a hug

Ashley reaches up to be picked up crying and looking around trying to find daddy. She says, "go go ga." She still fusses wanting daddy not even caring her dI aper is soaked.

Goes to each girl and gives you hugs and kisses. The scent of diapers both dry and clean was strong in the air. Tries to speak extra softly to Sofia, and extra hugs to calm her down.

Ashley reaches for daddy wanting to be held and fusses a lot. She cries and reaches for daddy more and more. She doesn't like that he isn't taking her.

Mommy Molly leans down and scoops ashley up, cradling her in her arms. She rubs her tummy, soothing her

Ashley cuddles into her mommy and her cries become sniffles. She keeps reaching for daddy though really wanting daddy and now sucking on her fingers even though her pacifier is safer.

(Okay, I'm a little bit confused about Molly being a "second mom" to the kids. Is there another mom, or what?)

(I think maybe the mom and Brian are divorced or something, so Molly and Brian are now together.)

(Okay. That's what I thought, but it was never really said exactly what happened so I thought I'd ask.)

(Yeah I was implying that something happened to old Mom. Either dead or divorced.)

After everyone had settled down, and the younger ones had stopped crying, Sofia was calmer. She went outside dragging her quilt behind her with her worn dog under her arm. She climbed up on the swing next to Olivia. "Hi Sissy."

Olivia looked over at Sofia. "Hey. Are you better now?" she asked as she continued to swing.

Molly walks over to check on you two, looking cautiously at Sofia who is still holding her head.

[Shy-Diapers]

Sofia wasn't holding her head anymore, since her meltdown had gone away finally. She was just slowly swinging back and forth on the swing with her dog and blanket. "Yeah, I'm better."

"Will you push me?" Olivia asked Molly. (What do the kids call her anyways? Mom, or Molly, or something else? And what happened to the real mom?)

(The old mom is dead. And you can call me whatever you feel is right. )

"Sure! I love that swing too!" Molly says giggling as she suddenly pushes you way up

Olivia giggled as squealed as she soared up high. "Look at me, sissy, I'm flying!" she said.

Sofia smiled, and tried to pump her kegs so she'd be going high like Olivia, but her lack of coordination, was making it a little hard. "Mommy, push me too!"

Molly smiles and gently lifts Sofia up, making sure not to press too hard on the small girl's back.
