Brian and Maria help you exit the car, then watch you disappear down a dark hallway. Maria wonders if should discreetly follow you just to make sure about what you had told us.

Pats you diapered bottom and hugs you. "What am I to do with such a cuddler as you?"

Hears you call me about two and a half hours later, and helps you out of the crib. And as expected, because of the empty bottle there is a soaked diaper on you. Gives you a diaper change and then helps you down to the floor.

I laugh as you prove me correct in what you would say. "Yes, Elizabeth, I always am and will be your daddy. That part for sure is true. I guess this can wait until you are taking your nap."

Brian knows exactly where that address was, as his unit had been doing a lot of activity near there lately. Tells Daisy to watch over her sisters for a few minutes, then he, Maria, and Hope go out to my unmarked police car for the drive to the address Hope had provided.

"But what?," I ask. "What would you tell these waiting airlines if you had ability to tell them anything?" I already suspect what you would say, being the child you are.

"Well Hope, where is this mother of yours? She too can be here if not inside an actual building." Brian sees Maria looking at me, we both suspect that either your mother is in jail or non-existent. But for sure something about this girl Hope was being hidden.

"Elizabeth, please, this will only take a few minutes if you let me quickly go over things. We have one airline wanting to expand to more boarding gates and a second airline is wanting to start services to the airport." I kiss your cheeks and rubs your front.

Lets you play with the dolls for a little more than twenty minutes. Checks your diaper again, sees that it is dry. Scoops you up and helps you into the crib along with a bottle of water to drink. Kisses your cheeks and turns on the crib mobile then closes the curtains. "Sweet dreams little baby."

"Yes Emma, you can," I say wanting to not concern you in any way but knowing there was a lot you weren't understanding. "What would you like to do next?"

Washes your hands and face for you when you have finished eating. "You can play with your dolls more if you want, will soon be time for your nap, Baby Ashley." I say to you.

"We promise, Emma. In fact, in this stack of papers is a court order that she has lost all contact privileges with you. She will not be allowed to know this address or phone number so she has no idea at all where you are."

"Well, Emma, these papers are tell us more about you. Information like when your birthday is and a little about your biological parents. But we aren't planning to let your mean biological parents over at all, you are safe here." Brian didn't mention about the medical sheets that also told about the possible weak bladder system which would slow or prevent Emma from fully becoming potty trained.

"There you go, Emma. All cleaned up and ready to go again." Natalie helps you up and rubs your back. She and Brian had been reading some of the additional paperwork about their new daughter from the orphanage and was nearly finished.

"Hello Emma," we say as we see you coming towards the living room. "What is wrong, sweetie?," Natalie adds. We soon though can smell the soiled diaper and quickly figure out what is wrong. "Let's get you changed into a clean diaper," and gets out the right stuff.

Starts putting slices of bread into the toaster then gets out cheese, pepperoni, and spaghetti sauce. Once the toast is done, I spread the sauce onto the bread, then add the meat and cheese over the sauce. Adds slices of onions onto my pieces. Puts pizzas back into toaster to melt the cheese and keep the food hot. A few minutes later I hand you a plate with the food on it. Then hands you bottle with milk in it and ties on your bib.

"Where would you like to go to, Ashley? I was thinking of making us pizzas for lunch."

Natalie comes into the room. "Let's have you go use the bathroom before you get put down for the nap, okay Emma?"

"You know I love you too, Ashley. You are a perfect baby and I enjoy caring for you as my little one."

Admires you snuggled again against me, your diaper very visible and very cute around your waist.

Takes off the wet diaper and gets you into another clean dry one. As I help you off the changing table I see your paci inside the crib, as it must have fallen out in there when the nightmare started. Gets the paci and hands it to you.

"You are welcome, Emma," we say as you are helped out of the booster seat and given a face wash. "You can play a little longer with your dolls if you want, and soon it will be nap time."

Goes to each girl and gives you hugs and kisses. The scent of diapers both dry and clean was strong in the air. Tries to speak extra softly to Sofia, and extra hugs to calm her down.

I kiss your wet cheeks. "And I love you too, Ashley. You need a dry diaper again, so lets get that changed. Don't want or need a rash."

I try hard not to start crying myself listening to what you share with me about your parents before you were put in an orphanage. Just quietly holds you again,
