Within a few minutes they were called to a room, and the doctor quickly got Colleen started with a breathing treatment as he got some information from Sarah.

"Inside. You count first!" Faith said before running off to try and hide. She eventually hid under her bed.

"The pollen counts have been unusually high this summer, and with the wind as bad as it is today, there's even more stuff flying around. She is definitely having an asthma attack, and I'm guessing it's allergy-induced. I want to keep her here for an hour or so, to make sure the breathing treatment works, and then I'll give her a prescription for an inhaler just in case it happens again, but you'll want to make appointments with an allergist and a pulmonologist to see what she's allergic to, what triggers the asthma, and determine the best course of treatment to prevent future attacks."

Jack counted slowly to 100 before setting off to find Faith. He checked the entire first floor before going to look upstairs.

"Okay. Thank you." Sarah said rubbing Colleen's back.

Colleen started to relax now that she could breathe a bit easier.

Sarah texted Jack updating him on what was up with Colleen. Its asthma and bad allergies. Will be home in an hour.

Faith squealed and laughed when Jack found her. "You found me Daddy!"

"Yes, I did. But it was a really good hiding place," Jack said before hearing his phone beep.

[Shy-Diapers]

Faith squealed and rolled around the bed trying to escape the tickles. She eventually got hold of her pillow and started hitting Jack with it laughing.

Jack grabbed Faith and held her upside down by her ankles. "Oh yeah? Whaddya gonna do now?"

Faith squealed and laughed trying to wiggle free. She grabbed onto the comforter trying to pull herself free.

Eventually Jack dropped Faith on the bed and flopped down next to her.

After a second breathing treatment Colleen was back to normal and ready to go home. The doctor sent them on their way with a prescription for an inhaler and a referral to an allergist and pulmonologist.

Faith laughed, out of breath. She smiled and hit Jack on the head one more time with the pillow. "I win."

"Let's go home." Sarah said taking Colleen to the car.

"Okay, you win," Jack said with a smile. "Now what?"

Colleen sat quietly in the car, tired from everything that had happened and barely able to keep her eyes open.

"Can we make cookies tonight?" Faith suggested.

[justagirl4fun]

"Yes, we can make cookies tonight after dinner. I think we have everything we need." Jack heard Sarah and Colleen come in. "Let's go see how your sister is."

[Shy-Diapers]

"Okay." Faith said jumping on her fathers back. "Piggy back ride!"

"Oof!" Jack grabbed a hold of Faith and galloped down the stairs. Colleen was already curled up on the couch falling asleep.

"Weee!" Faith squealed as Jack went down the stairs. "Hi Mommy!"

"Well, hopefully she'll be okay for the rest of the day. We've had more than enough excitement," Jack said.
