Shy-Diapers
"Can we go to Chuck E Cheese?!" Faith piped up with a mouthful of eggs in her mouth. Link to comment
justagirl4fun
Jack shrugged. "I don't see why not. Why don't we go around lunch time?" he suggested, thinking that would give them a few hours to keep an eye on Faith at home and make sure she was okay before going out. Link to comment
Shy-Diapers
"Yes!" Faith squealed with another mouthful of food. Link to comment
justagirl4fun
"Can we go play outside til then?" Colleen asked. Jack glanced outside. There were some slightly gray clouds in the distance. "Um, it's supposed to rain today," he lied. "Better just stay inside." He hoped the girls would buy that, as he was worried that it might not be safe for Faith to be out playing on the swingset or riding a bike if she had another seizure. Colleen scowled. "It's not raining now. The sun is out! Mom, can't we play outside, at least until it rains?" Link to comment
Shy-Diapers
Sarah bit her lip. She didn't want to lie, but knew they had to keep a close eye on Faith. "Listen to your father honey." "Please Daddy?" Faith asked, pouting her bottom lip and batting her eyelashes. Link to comment
justagirl4fun
Jack tried to stand his ground, but soon caved in. "Okay, fine, you can go outside, but no riding bikes or playing on the swingset. I'm afraid if Faith has another seizure she'll fall and hit her head, and we don't want that. Stay on the grass." he said, deciding honesty was the best policy. Link to comment
Shy-Diapers
"Okay Daddy." Faith smiled. She really didn't know why Jack was being so careful for her, but knew she didn't want to have another seizure. Link to comment
justagirl4fun
Colleen ate her eggs and shoved the last bit of toast in her mouth. "Okay, I'm done," she said, getting up with peanut butter and jam smeared on her cheeks. Link to comment
Shy-Diapers
Faith was only halfway done with her food, being a much slower eater. She wanted to go play with her sister, so she started shoving food into her mouth, getting most of it anywhere but her mouth though. Link to comment
justagirl4fun
"Hey, slow down," Jack said when he noticed Faith hurrying. "Your sister will wait for you. No need to choke yourself." Colleen did as she was told, then brushed her teeth and went to get dressed. Link to comment
Shy-Diapers
Faith did as she was told, always one to follow the rules. She went back to eating at her normal pace. By the time she had finally finished, Colleen was back. She put her fork down and ran outside with her big sister. Link to comment
justagirl4fun
Once outside, Colleen just stared at Faith. "What are we gonna do out here?" she asked. Normally she'd be climbing something, but obviously that was out of the question. Link to comment
Shy-Diapers
"We can draw with the chalk." Faith suggested. She really wanted to swing, but knew to listen to her daddy. Link to comment
justagirl4fun
"He said to stay on the grass," Colleen reminded Faith. "We can't color on the grass. How about bubbles?" Link to comment
Shy-Diapers
"Okay!" Faith said. She ran to the shed to get the big bucket of bubbles. She came back and sat on the box where the pool toys were kept. "I'll blow and you can pop them!" Link to comment
justagirl4fun
"Okay." Colleen ran around popping the bubbles for a little while, then offered to trade places. Link to comment
Shy-Diapers
Faith happily hopped off the box and handed Colleen the bubbles, not nothing that there was a small puddle and noticeable damp spot on the back of her light denim skirt. Link to comment
justagirl4fun
Colleen went to sit but noticed the puddle. Link to comment
Shy-Diapers
"No I-" Faith started, before seeing the puddle. Her cheeks turned bright pink. She went inside and ran to hug Jacks leg. "I'm sorry Daddy." Link to comment
justagirl4fun
"For what?" Jack asked, completely confused. Colleen came in behind Faith. "She peed her pants," she informed him. Jack bent down to inspect Faith. "Honey, where's your pull up? You know you're supposed to wear one." Link to comment
Shy-Diapers
Faith was crying by now afraid Jack was mad at her. "I'm sorry Daddy! I waited for you to help but you went downstairs and I couldn't reach them and thought you'd do it after breakfast and and and-" She sobbed, not wanting to be in trouble since she'd never been in trouble that she could remember. justagirl4fun
"You should have said something," Jack said as he led Faith to the bathroom. "We'll have to put them where you can reach them. You're big enough to put them on yourself," he said as he stripped her of her wet skirt and washed her off before bringing her upstairs. Link to comment
Shy-Diapers
"I'm sorry." Faith said truly feeling bad for what happened. She nodded as Jack cleaned her up. Link to comment
justagirl4fun
Jack helped Faith get dressed and moved the pull ups to one of her drawers so she could get them herself from now on. "Okay, it's still too early to go, so go play," he said, ruffling her hair. Link to comment
Shy-Diapers
Faith wiped the remaining tears away when Jack ruffles her hair, reusing he wasn't angry. "Can we play hide and seek?" Link to comment
