DonsbabyKS Posted August 19, 2014 Posted August 19, 2014 I know that I travel quite often, mostly short trips but sometimes longer vacation.
astrodiaper Posted August 20, 2014 Posted August 20, 2014 I tend to use pull-up style padding when on long bus trips, something discreet. Some of the bathrooms on the buses are nasty. The last time I rode the bus was a 4 1/2 hour trip and I didn't have anything. Unfortunately, it was either stones or an infection, but I couldn't empty my bladder before I got on. When we reached the halfway point, I gave up and used the restroom o nthe bus. Was clean, but door didn't lock. Lesson: be padded on the bus.
rusty pins Posted August 20, 2014 Posted August 20, 2014 I don't travel diapered, but it seems to me that you wouldn't change your basic style of life and incontinence much when you travel. 1
babbler110 Posted August 21, 2014 Posted August 21, 2014 Hello - I am traveling and I always bring diapers. Yes the suitcase is a lot bigger but does not have get weighted down. I bring one diaper for each night plus a few more in case I need to change in the middle of the night which happens 10% of the time. And yes I have found the little TSA tag saying "We have opened and inspected your luggage..." sitting on top of my Molicares, teddy bear and paci. 1
babbler110 Posted September 18, 2014 Posted September 18, 2014 I just traveled through the Hong Kong airport, in my bag I had two Abena M3's. Down the gangway to the airplane they had a checkpoint to hand search every bag. They were doing a through search of each bag but they were not pulling anything out just searching. Each bag they would give about a 30 second inspection. When they opened mine they looked in and said I was fines hd could go, 5 seconds max. It is not illegal to carry spare diapers but I could tell they did not feel theed to search much further and my search was certainly abbreviated. Nothing was said as to the contents of my bag.
Diaper_Lover_HI Posted September 18, 2014 Posted September 18, 2014 Road trips in Hawaii are short... however being stuck in traffic can be extensive. So being diapered on the roads here in Hawaii is a good thing. As far as traveling we are diapered for those long plane rides... and we too carry spare diapers.
Walesiswet Posted September 22, 2014 Posted September 22, 2014 Using diapers and traveling is no problem at all, just take what you need supply wise, you'll need a bigger bag than normal. Most importantly is to perfect the art of standing up changes due to the lack of room in toilets. Normal i travel by car as I hate planes. I take plenty with me so I have a choice of diapers. That's the one thing that make incontinence easier to deal with emotionally is just having options.
Bettypooh Posted October 12, 2014 Posted October 12, 2014 I don't travel a lot, but some time ago my work was needed in
