I remember seeing an advertisement on tv for the Phil Donahue show for AB's.

I don't think I've ever seen a TV segment on this subject that didn't make me facepalm the entire time. I wish I didn't have to worry about ruining career options and stuff, as a young guy I would love to go on a show and give my thoughts on the subject. If only an idolized celebrity or well known person came out and did something like this, people may start changing their views.

The 2nd time this topic was discussed on the Jerry Springer show, it was a completely different atmosphere. The first episode in the early 1990's was diplomatic enough, but by 1998, The Jerry Springer show was a complete zoo. I remember seeing the first episode and feeling optimistic, by the time this 2nd episode ran in 1998, it was really depressing. I remember thinking: "oh god! Is this how the public is going to view this sort of thing!?"
