BoTox
For those of you that desire a foolproof way of securing a lock, here's a handy kitchen utensil that will keep something locked for the appropriate amount of time without need to freeze a key in ice. Link to comment
BabyLock
FAIL SAFE INFO - from FAQ THE LOCKING MECHANISM & BATTERY What if I accidentally set the wrong time? Once you press the dial to activate the lock, you have five seconds to cancel. Simply press the dial a second time before the five-second timer reaches zero. This allows you to double check the timer before the lid locks. Are there any built-in overrides? No. The Kitchen Safe was designed to only unlock once the timer reaches zero. No cheating! What happens if the Kitchen Safe runs out of power when the lid is locked? If the timer was set for more than five minutes, the lid will remain locked and will continue counting down once the battery is replaced. Nice but certainly not appropriate for all scenarios. One comes to mind - Fire Police Medical Emergency then you are going to have to smash the piggy bank to effect the release of restraint - BUT WAIT you are gagged and tied up and can't communicate to the rescue responders where the keys are and they rescue you leaving the keys go up in flames or whatever ! Oh how I love it when a plan comes together - even if it is a BAD one ! And the locking device melted around the keys rendering them useless ! On the PLUS side it would keep LOCKED clothing (diaper covers i.e.) on a definite schedule with no cheating - no quicky release. Daddy/Mommy means business ! Another interesting plus would be hiding the keys somewhere in plain sight then putting the directions to that plain sight place inside the device. Now one can look for the keys while the timer does it thing resulting in eventually getting released - See if you can beat the Clock ? An even more interesting scenario is using more than one of these to start a scavenger hunt for the next unlocking step. Speed will be regulated by the timing of the device. DO BE CAREFUL OF USING THIS DEVICE - best to have a partner double check your planning least you make a mistake and have to wear whatever for the next era-period-millennium of time ! According to the instructions the maximum period time is 10 days - WOW that is long time to wear them stinky over-used diapers ! Link to comment
BoTox
First, if you can't actually get rid of whatever you are in, that's a bad plan. I'd suspect it was a choice between cleanly getting out or ripping the plastic pants type scenario. Link to comment

Homura
I'm a bit late to the party, but I think this is an awesome way to make a time lock. I think it'd be a really cool idea for solo chastity play, specifically. Link to comment
BabyLock
A simple sort of less complex way to have the keys available with much less fuss or trouble is to use a Realtors Lock Box - car dealers use something similar. You have a small box that has room inside for maybe 3-4-5 keys and it is locked shut. Dial or punch in a number letter combination and the lock box opens. They come in couple of ways to fasten to a fixed or moveable object - one is with a hasp that opens and goes around a door knob or similar Link to comment
