Lanthey
I know maybe this should have gone in the depression forum but this post isn't me saying "I'm depressed, please help me..." this is a question for people who aren't depressed.... Like an actual genuine question about feeling happy. Link to comment
Zander
And I'm wondering.... Is it an actual thing? Do people actually go days or maybe even weeks of feeling happy.... Like I can't imagine it. And I'm wondering if I have realistic expectations of happiness or am I shooting for an unachievable goal? Link to comment
sarah_ab
No one is happy every minute of every day. We all have times during the day where we are sad, tired, apathetic, upset, annoyed, angry. I have probably felt all those emotions today. For more than just a fleeting minute. Sometimes i have days on end where I'm so anxious i feel like i'm going to cry at any moment and no amount of anti anxiety meds make it better. Sometimes I have days where i'm just irritable and annoyed at everything. Link to comment
Bettypooh
I have depression but when it isn't paying me yet another visit, I feel relatively content and sometimes happy. That can last as much as a couple weeks. Happiness has to be defined on a personal level I can be broke and happy but I know some money-oriented people who cannot be happy while broke. I can be happy at work under the most adverse conditions or I can be unhappy under the best conditions there. Link to comment
