30 years ago I worked with a guy that was in to that. He called the office and asked me to fill in because he was all tied up, Come to find out he really was all tied up. We found out about it because he got drunk in a pub. He didn't stop talking after a few brews. Then he pulled down his pants (in the pub) and he was wearing his wife's panty hose!

Though what I've done is more on the simplistic end of things (not really any elaborate gear; just handcuffs, rope, duct tape, and rags do the job to keep me quiet), I can certainly empathize with your little maid, and I wouldn't dare invoke your punishments if even your status quo is that harsh *shiver*
