HitorMiss
Well it certainly ties into economic solutions. Plastic diapers are quite inefficient and wasteful, not to mention they pile up in dumps. The green solution is cloth. Link to comment
clothbaby
Well I hope you take that to write about and share it all with us. Love cloth diapers!!! Wear a t shirt to class. E bay has one for sale!! Link to comment
rusty pins
P3erhaps if you write about all your experiences wearing diapers it will add that realizim to your paper and get you the top grade! Link to comment
whisko
lol! "which would *you* use", not which one would tou buy for your baby/household? that is awesome. i'd be tempted to write it all in the first person. Link to comment
jonoz
I really do want to write from my point of view but I don't have the guts to do it LOL, to nervous to do such a subject. Link to comment
Ryan23A
Interesting if I was you I would look for something more interesting than diapers due to me wearing them for fun, Link to comment
kootzkoo
Funny how it says, "Cloth or PLastic which would you use?" Link to comment
Diapered Jason
Lol, I would not pick the hardest topic on there. Link to comment
SoakedinTexas
I like Rusty's idea too. Something to think about. Link to comment
DavidMW
The limit of Rusty's idea is that it wearing it yourself provides an adult user sample of just one - and we know from the threads here how diverse the opinions can be. Thus to increase the scientific validity of your experiment, you should recruit... um, ask for volunteers from your classmates to help test them "for the sake of the environment". 1 Link to comment

PaddedPat
I'm sure Depends has a test lab, but I wonder if they actually conduct any human sample tests. Based on the woeful performance of their products compared to premium brands, they seem to care more about cost-cutting measures than filling a real need for quality, mass market incontinence products. I mean - outside of Bambino, how the hell is it that no other company in the US appears to grasp this? It's clear that there's a market for premium diapers judging by the success of European brands like Tena, Abena, and Molicare. These companies seem to understand that - in some cases - customers DO value performance over discretion. And the quality of their products is evidence that they factor actual human inputs into their product improvements - versus relying solely on a bunch of fluid dynamics data points barfed out by expensive test equipment. dl_ashlee
Actually I think the diaper question is a very good one as it doesn't have a clear answer. Link to comment
DiaperPony
PaddedPat, have you tried ATNs? They are plastic backed and crinkly (not so discreet), with good performance (they usually take ~4 hours of abuse). So, there are still some USA brands where performance takes precedence over discretion. Link to comment
