Dubious
So, now they just need game makers to tweak them to be able to play on Linux, which wont happen on all games Link to comment

lilloki
honestly they would not really need the game makers to tweak it, they could jut use a wine based solution or one of the other compatability fixers for linux. The only reason i donot run linux is because i donot have 12 bucks a month extra to pay for a cross platform solution for linux. but they do exist my brother has one of the cross platform solutions and usually within 2 weeks of a games release they have it compatable Link to comment
Zander
Yes that they have been working on it, it was in beta in November, and full released about 2 weeks ago. Link to comment

Zander
Actually you can use it on different distros. I've run it on Debian and Mint. Link to comment
Dubious
Emulators will never ever run games any good Link to comment
bwakee
By doing Mac before Linux, I expect they wanted to cater to specific target markets like college gamers first. I mean, I see at least 12 dozen Link to comment

Baby Brian
I tried Ubuntu Linux a while back. It was an awesome system but I couldn't use a single one of my 100+ PC games I've collected over the years. Until Linux adds a reliable emulator I'm stuck on M$. I'll be darned if I have to go to Win8 though. Link to comment
