Why Do They Still Make Tubs?

why does huggies still make hard tubs if they have soft packs that from my experience work just as well and have nearly as many wipes 56 in the soft pack and 64 in the tub?

Eight wipes can make a SERIOUS difference in an emergency where you don't have access to a bathtub. I stick to Pampers wipes usually, but soft packs = tub refills, at least for me.

I have a tub for at home, and one of those refillable hard cases from Huggies for on the go. I buy a case of refill packs at a time. Saves money, and better for the environment, probably.

Of course not. However, I don't open a new pack until the pack I have is nearly used up - and sometimes, I'm left with only a few wipes in the old pack & get stuck in a situation where I run out. That's the kind of thing I mean.

The soft packs are refills for the tubs

Plus, IIRC it always seemed like the soft packs would dry out if you're not really careful of how they seal. The tub is more robust and less likely to evaporate all the wipeyjuice. lol

The huggies hard clamshell (hold about what, a dozen wipe) is one of my favoriate. I have a few I keep reloading from the larger packs.

I actually found something interesting online recently regarding making your own wipes. There are "recipes" available using small amounts of baby bath wash, baby oil, and boiled water poured over a paper towel roll that has been cut in half. You can make and store the concoction in a resealable plastic container. It seems to me that these homemade wipes would be much less expensive and larger than the commercial wipes. You might want to look it up and consider making your own. (I haven't done so because of privacy and storage issues).

I got a bunch of the Chubs that came in large plastic "lego" blocks. My wife made me stop buying them. She says I don't play with the empties enough. Unfortunately, Chubs are off the market in any form (let alone the buildling blocks).
