An Interesting Comment My Mom Made

We were watching the news last night when one of those health stories came on about children. This one had to do with how much sleep they get and how much they should be getting, etc. My mom is 84 years old and her parents both died when she was young, age 7. She was raised by an older sibling and her husband and moved around the country. Anyway, my mom said, "No one was concerned when I was a kid that I wasn't getting enough sleep! I was never pampered as a child! It was all I could do to say, "Of course not! Pampers wern't around back then! Neither were Huggies or LUVS!"
