Got the samples too. Not really practical for a full time incontinent person. You are lucky if it holds one wetting. If you suffer from light leakage or just like the feeling of knowing you are wearing a diaper that no one can see under regular clothes, this is the diaper for you. If you need a diaper to hold a decent amount of wettings (3 or 4) or some bowel, don't bother. Stick to the standards, Abena, Molicare, Dry 24/7. Once again, Depend has proven how useless their innovation is to the truly incontinent. Thank goodness for the european manufacturers.

I guess the most common forms of incontinence are the frequent light leakage, where a pad or light pull-up will do, or the urge/overactive bladder variety where the incontinent person may lose a whole bladder full in their pants but will generally do so in a standing position while trying to reach the toilet. A more absorbent pull-up product may suit them, assuming they are likely to change straight away and not sit down in their wet undergarment.

The proper nappy/diaper type, that are taped on, are basically for those who generally have no intention of trying to use the toilet, so either are totally incontinent, or "recreational" wearers like most of us. So there's likely to be less demand for them from those who have the more common types of bladder problem. But there will always be a need for the full diaper, I guess in the US where they've generally been available off the shelf it might be going more like the UK where lighter products are seen in supermarkets/chemists and the heavier duty nappies are mostly sold through medical suppliers as most people who need them get them through the NHS.
