Yvhuce
Dulcolax is apparently a stool softener. Their commercials feature women falling asleep or just relaxing and looking happy. The general implication is that these women are wearing diapers. Especially the one with the woman in a boat on a lake. The most recent one involves a woman lounging on an inflatable raft in a pool. At the end of the commercial, she gets a mischievous look in her eyes. This could imply that she's just crapped herself... Link to comment
~Skitty~
wahhhh. hate to break it to you but thats more like Your implication, not the general public. im pretty sure the fact that the ladies relaxing and looking happy is because they dont have poop stuck in their intestines. xD Link to comment

timmyc
nothing wrong with a little personal fantasy but worlds apart from from an actual media reference. Nothing in any laxative ad has ever indicated directly or subtlety anything to do with diapers. Link to comment
BabyLock
The ending line of the commercial is: "Ducolax doesn't make you go - it makes it easier to go" ! No indication of diapers; liners; pads; disposables or the alike. Just a simple pill (or two) taken orally and nature takes it from there. It can be used in the preparation of a colonoscopy to prime the pump so to speak. Exlax is another method perhaps a bit stronger with less bowel control. Either way you are making an appointment with the throne for some internal cleaning. Only caution would be if this is done frequently to beware of dehyrating the system and to replace the fluids lost. See a medical professional for further advice. BabyLock Link to comment
wetman
... looking happy is because they dont have poop stuck in their intestines. xD That's what he said. Now, really. What he means (I think) is, that you would better wear a nappy/ diaper if you're taking laxatives and then move out into the middle of a lake in a boat far away from any toilet. If you've ever tried the Dulcolax suppositories, you'll know that the effect can be quite strong and that the urge increases quickly to become rather drastic. You shouldn't be away from the loo, or at least, wear some protection. The ad seems to point to the protection if you want to understand that they haven't had their bowel movement before. As he wrote: It could imply. Just a bit of fancy thinking, no need to flame. Link to comment
