I Keep Hearing Of This 'Marshmallow Trick'

How is it supposed to work...does it just melt up there and cause you to poop, or does it just seep out and feel like a mess (if that's the case I could just pour some tepid porridge down there)?

And are these like, the SMALL marshmallows or the larger ones?
