Hi, I'm Kristin, and I started wearing diapers for fun about 14 years ago when I was working at a hospital while in school.

Oh geeps, this is weird talking about this...

Well, one of my tasks was to clean up and organize the GI (Gastro Intestinal (look it up if you need to)) lab for the next day's procedures. One of the things they have in every recovery room is a stack of adult diapers in the cabinet. These were cheap institutional kinds, (but I did not know that at the time.) I'm not a nurse- I didn't have any patient contact (interaction), so I never put the diapers on any of the patients (but did a fair amount of babysitting earlier).

But then I had to get some oral surgery (junk food), and they gave me Vicodin for the recovery. Well, it turns out that I have a paradoxical response to opiates, where instead of feeling sedated I get aroused (I’ve tried cocaine, and it (coke) does not even come close). So, after a day off to recover- I'm back in the GI lab on my late shift, with my mind a little addled and feeling quite sexy: I would get these hospital / doctor fantasies (I'm really good at fantasies, though you would not know it to look at me), and one of them was having a doctor (not that a MD would ever stoop to doing patient care) doing a procedure on me and following up with the post op stuff they do in GI labs- felling my stomach, lower intestines, etc. and even diapering the patients who might be 'leaky' after a procedure (this makes linen changes much easier). So I took a couple of diapers home that night and had a little role play fantasy. I’m pretty open minded about consenting adult stuff, and this felt naughty but fun. You can imagine where it went from there!

There were a few other incidents that 'helped' me along- one being a baby shower where we were a little drunk and a friend I had known for years only in passing got a little silly, and it turns out we kind had a shared fetish. If she were here now, she would be egging me on to write more...

I'm kind of a tomboy, or more accurately unisex/nonsexual in my work life, but entre-nous with close friends, I like to dress a bit sexy, even in public, as long as it’s in a safe place where idiots who think the way someone dresses allows them to be idiotic sociopaths.. (I have feelings about this, can you tell?).

But I’ve worked in a hospital (twice), college, chemical process lab, and industrial engineering. I have a pilot’s license with instrument rating, can drive motorcycle, shoot a pistol, rifle, and shotgun well. I can break a board with my fist, did kung-fu for a few years- Also good at manicures, taming little tykes, doing facials (which is very much a chemical process). My hair is a disaster, rarely looks the same twice, I have no skill at hair styling. I’m assuming most of you reading this are men, and you want to get an image (women think more in terms of feeling or interaction), I’m not exactly ugly, but I have a few self image issues. Not a cheerleader, but some of my friend were. Intellectually and emotionally, I'm a good teacher, and have help out a lot of confused tweens, parents love me, kids either love me or tolerate me. Animals treat me like their mommy- I can hand feed squirrels, dogs and cats love me as much as I love them, I've kissed a llama. Off and On vegetarian. Co-workers tend to test me and get mad if i don't play their stupid games, and my employers like the work I do, but do not seem to think I can handle 'serious' work- typical testicle tautology...

I don’t know what else to say, really, I’m reasonably fit, run and lift some, ride bike and rollerblade like a banshee (I'll kick your ass at either!) , and oh yeah, sexually active with ummm.. "both the home team and the visitors" depending on who is around and whatever rules we are setting at the moment. I actually feel like I’m shy sexually, but I like to experiment with friends who I can trust- wish I knew how to meet more, but that’s not why I’m on this site- just to make that clear.

But if you want to tell me about why you wear diapers, and don’t try to just gross me out- that’s good. I'll talk with you and maybe even we can swap some stories.

As far as the diaper go- I now buy and wear Molicare Super Plus, they fit well, and seem to hold a LOT of liquid. I have a couple of time worn diapers (actually doubled) flying long trips, once on a very long airplane solo from Alaska to the States, flying a Mooney Ovation. It was a 9 hour flight in a four seat aircraft with no bathroom facilities. I'll let you imagine the details. Otherwise, it's personal fun, sometimes with a friend, (only three people know about this, only 2 know the extent of it), it may sound a bit strange, but it's kind of like wearing a ball gown or some fancy dress- where you are all gussied up and pressed and squeezed here and there for fashion's (or other) sake, and your boyfriend or other gets to peel you out of it and see what you are wearing- your little secrets and trick to keep you looking all glamorous on the outside. Everyone knows: beauty is not pretty...

I hope this introduction doesn’t sound totally stupid, if I’m supposed to talk about other things, just tell me. But please, no flames: that’s a triple bummer- low class, low I.Q., and low respect for another human being.

Don't worry about sounding stupid here. I recently joined this site myself, and already I have learned that most people here are very open minded. I have also discovered this site is not only great for learning about other people, but is also great for learning about yourself.

Hi Kristi!

Welcome to the 'diaper side" and to the site. The 'diaper thing' is kind of confusing and "weird" and a lot of people have troubles figuring it out. I enjoyed your intro, and it's evident that you have a wide variety of interests and aren't afraid to explore something to it's fullest. You also seem to be very independent and can take care of yourself which is very admirable

I hope you enjoy this site, and meet interesting and fun people you can chat with and you find what you are looking for.

There aren't many D/L ladies here, and they are rather rare in the community in general, as most are AB's instead, which isn't a bad thing, it is the way they are...so be it.

Wearing and using a diaper isn't a crime, and obviously they are useful as you have found on your long flight from Alaska

the most important thing is that you enjoy yourself, and if diapers help in that...go for it. They are just underwear after all...now if Victorias Secret could sell something along those lines....Hmmmmmmmm diapers and lingerie.... Hmmmmm or diapers AS lingerie!
