Looking through a SuperFresh (A&P) Supermarket (New Jersey U.S.A.) advertising flier, I saw Live Well Adult Briefs for $9.99. Admittedly, they can't be very much, at that price, Depends quality or worse, but...has anyone ever tried them? Are they worth the price?

Sounds like a store brand. Next time check around the health aisle and see if they have Live Well Asprin and Live Well Bandanges.

The same large corporation that operates as A&P uses different store names in each area. They are A&P in Northern California and usually Vons or Pavilion in Southern California. I believe Daily Di is correct, Live Well is an A&P store brand.

These days adult diapers are made in factories all over the world where environmental laws are lax, energy is available, shipping by ship is convenient and labor is cheap. Most of the design for generic store brand adult diapers has been done long ago. Each factory can provide a choice of features, although some factories have a wider range. Without confidential information from the A&P purchasing department it would be impossible to say which factory made those diapers. The next batch might be made in a different factory if the price was better. Nearly all current adult diaper factories are able to make products that meet the customer specification. The ABDL community might well not care for those diapers and the incontinent care providers might not like them.

Given that none of those factories will respond to individuals without a huge letter of credit and only sell wholesale in massive quantity, what practical difference does it make to us which factory was involved?
