First Pair Of Rubber Or Plastic Pants

Recommended Posts

I've been doing some research on buying my first pair of plastic and/or rubber pants to wear over my Assurance disposable pull-on diapers, but getting more confused than ever -- both about what kind I want, and where to get them. Do you have any recommendations to point me in the right direction? I'm a big guy, wear XL-size Assurance pull-ons, about a 52 inch waist and I'm 6'5" tall. I think I want the high back style, but I don't want them so large that I can't wear them discreetly under my pants. I don't want to spend too much until I'm sure they're the right size and style for me, but I also don't want such cheap ones that they rip after the first wearing. Feminine styles and colors or baby prints are preferred but not a requirement -- basic white may be the best for starters. I'd love some pink rhumba style panties but probably don't want to spend that much initially. I'm in eastern PA. Are there any stores, perhaps in New York City, where you can buy them in person and see what you're getting, or is online the only option? Any help or advice would be appreciated!

I wear plastic pants 24/7. No one has ever noticed. Best places I have found are, two Canadian sites

http://www.acmedi.com/acms/catalog.htm

Also two American Sites.

I have ordered from all with no concerns. I wish you the best. Bob

I wear plastic pants in public all the time. no problems.

However just like regular clothing the choices can be overwhelming.

buy your first pair in the same size as your diapers.

I have a couple of pairs of hi backs and they are HI BACK.

most of the US made ones come in the standard sizes and you can end up

with a lot of material to deal with. not really a problem under loose fitting

clothes but keep that in mind.

If you want something closer fitting go to

www:b4ns.com and look at the suprima line

they are from europe and tend to fit closer.

Phillipe is very helpful

for your first pair just go to a medical supply/pharmacy and see what they have.

You are probably going to buy a couple of pairs you dont like but thats just the

way it is.

Most of the sites are pretty helpful.

try these

I got some really nice rubber pants, they take alot of care but there worth it I got the overnight ones from ll medico, lots of room for cloth or disposeables, I find they do catch more leaks than the plastic ones I currently own.

I finally got my first pair of plastic pants! I ordered them Tuesday from Amazon, of all places .... got the Leakmaster snap-ons, which seemed to have the highest ratings among the reviewers there, including fast shipment from their supplier, All Together Enterprises. I ordered them on Tuesday evening, they shipped Wed, I received them at noon today (Fri) -- pretty good, coming from Utah to PA! And I really like them. They fit me well, look good, and feel good. They seem well made, hopefully will last a while. I'm wearing them right now and will wear them to bed tonight.

I order my first pair of plastic pants and the finally came in this afternoon. Since i had not been back at the dorm since the morning, i arrived at Lantana and checked the mail. My plastic pants were here. I took my shower, changed my clothes and put my new pair of plastic pants of over my nappy. :)
