  1. Yes, you're right! I just got a case of the XL-1 and they're almost TOO difficult to tear off.
  2. I'm a big baby, 50 inch waist, 6'5" tall, and wear extra large diapers, so I think that pretty much rules Goodnites out. Thanks to all the feedback here, I just got a case of the Abena Abri-Flex pull-ons, and they're definitely the best I've found so far for me.
  3. Thanks, everyone, for your responses. Consensus seems to be the Abri-Flex is the best pull-on, and that pretty much matches my experience over the last two weeks. I spent a week wearing Abena Abri-Flex every day, and then this past week I wore Tranquility -- OverNights some days, and DayTimes some days. All are comfortable, especially the Abri-Flex with the higher waistline, although that presents its own challenges with show-through under some clothing. But the Tranquility pull-ons didn't seem to hold up as well -- when wet, the stuffing would begin collapsing into the crotch of the diaper, especially the Tranquility OverNight version. That didn't happen as quickly with the Abri-Flex diapers. The only problem so far with the Abri-Flex is that the side seams sometimes tear too easily -- twice I had them start to tear from the waist down when I was just putting them on the first time. It didn't create a big problem, but I had to learn to be more careful putting them on and pulling them up so the side seams didn't tear prematurely. The Tranquility pull-ons are slightly cheaper than the Abri-Flex, but not enough so to influence my choice too much. I think I'll stick with the Abena Abri-Flex for now.
  4. Until recently, I've been wearing RiteAid's "Protective Underwear" pull-on diapers (same as those sold by Walmart) pretty much 24/7. They fit me well, and in the heaviest absorbency, met my needs. However, they've changed the way those are made, and they no longer fit or protect like they used to -- I hate the new styles. So I've been looking for something else. I definitely want to stay with pull-ons, as I do use the toilet when I can, and have to make a diaper last most of the day or night, but need some protection for minor leaks and my urge incontinence. Doing some research on the forums here, I decided to try Abena Abri-Flex pull-ons, and also Tranquility OverNight and DayTime pull-on styles. The Abena pull-ons seem to hold up a little better when wet, and have a higher waist for security. But the Tranquility pull-ons are very comfortable, and a lot like the old style RiteAid pull-ons (although heavier duty). Both the Tranquility and Abena pull-ons are MUCH more expensive, though, than what I had been paying for the RiteAid diapers. So do you have any suggestions as to the best pull-ons? Are there other brands I should consider?
  5. I just received my first package of Tranquility Overnight pull-ons yesterday, and I'm wearing one for work today. It's still dry (I try not to wet during the day at work), but I think this just might become my new favorite pull-on! I also really like the Abena Abri-Flex pull-ons. When I get home tonight I'll take everything off but my diaper, and add a pair of New Leakmaster PUL Diaper Pants over my pull-ons to wear around the house and to bed. Comfy and relaxing, plus wonderful, soft swooshing sounds when I walk or move around.
  6. I had a heart attack a few months ago, went to the hospital in my pull-on diapers. Not a word was said, other than remove ALL your clothes when it was time to put on the hospital gown. But that was okay, too -- I didn't mind being naked underneath -- it was kinda nice for a change.
  7. I used to buy my favorite Assurance pull-ups at Walmart, but can't find them there anymore so I get them now at RiteAid. Once in a while I find them on sale, but pretty rare. I buy my favorite plastic panties (Leakmaster snap-on) online from Amazon.com.

    Shaved

I shave my entire pubic area, including penis and balls, every day. It only takes a minute when you do it every day, and never any itchies. I love the feeling and the look of being shaved, and as others have said, it's also very practical when it comes time to cleanup. The only thing better would be having someone else shave me! I have one female friend who has me shave her pubic area every couple of weeks, but she's not physically able to return the favor. And I shaved another guy one time -- loved doing that, too.
  9. Yep, that's what I do now. I love plastic pants, and usually wear them all the time when I'm home and to bed at night. But I've found they don't hold up very well when I wear them to work, plus they're really hot under other clothes in the summer. I often wear Abena's plastic backed diapers and plastic panties to bed at night, but prefer pull-ups during the day because they're cooler, fit me better, and a little more comfortable. I don't leak as much during the day, so pull-ups work in that regard, too.
  10. Thanks, everyone, for your answers ... pretty much what I thought. I had read descriptions of a lot of the pull-ups, but couldn't tell from some of them -- they don't say much about the specific materials in many cases. But you answered my question!
  11. Does anyone make a pull-up diaper with plastic backing like the Abena or Bambino taped diapers have? I love the feel and sound of the plastic backing, as well as the extra security I feel when wearing plastic.
  12. I've had a plastic panties fetish since I was about three years old. I love wearing plastic panties over my disposables. But I've found they don't last very long, for me at least, if I wear them to work every day. So I usually just wear them at home when I'm running around in just my diaper, and to bed at night. It's definitely for the feel (and partly for the look), as my disposables usually catch everything they need to catch.
  13. I've never had that happen, but sounds like a great reason to wear plastic pants over your diaper!
  14. Cool! They feel good, don't they? What kind did you get, and where did you get them? How do they fit?
  15. I finally got my first pair of plastic pants! I ordered them Tuesday from Amazon, of all places .... got the Leakmaster snap-ons, which seemed to have the highest ratings among the reviewers there, including fast shipment from their supplier, All Together Enterprises. I ordered them on Tuesday evening, they shipped Wed, I received them at noon today (Fri) -- pretty good, coming from Utah to PA! And I really like them. They fit me well, look good, and feel good. They seem well made, hopefully will last a while. I'm wearing them right now and will wear them to bed tonight. Bob
