So me and some other furs were hanging out in the Allentown area, when we're talking about how strange people are (we just got done talking about Therianthropy (sp?) and how there were other odd things in the fandom. The subject of Babyfurs came up, and I decided to play dumb *hehe* Well, they were talking about how babyfurs were furries who like to be babied, and wear diapers and "shit themselves" *which is pretty accurate, they didn't say anything about kids or anything way off like that* I just nodded and kept quiet while they talked, and when they were done I just said "well, that's odd, but I've heard of weirder stuff"

*Cut to later that night*

We picked up some more furs, and the subject went to babyfurs (lightly, really) again. A person said they knew a babyfur online, and that he was a pretty cool guy. The guys I were with earlier mentioned I had just learned of the babyfurdom, and everyone just sort of went *ah* and we changed the subject.

On to the point of this thread!

I had a bit of perspective, firstly that this *Babyfurs (and the AB/DL community in general)* will never amount to more than something weird to mention to friends, or a deep personal secret between lovers. *Note, no one gave a negative reaction, just a kind of "well, that's really weird, but whatever" kind of sentiment.*

Also, I really like furries, because I have a lot of, err, emotional dents, that are slowly being overcome by just being around caring people. It's weird to explain... In fact I can't but, it helps, I know it!

Of course, there are a lot of "drama llama's" if you know what I mean, but, for a guy like me, hehe, that's fine!

i am a longtime fur who is incontinent after an assault, and really don't care what other furries or 'people' think. (lives in western PA)

Many 'us'es need a 'them' to marginalize as weird as a way to feel 'normal.' Mundanes have furries. Furries have babyfurs.

Don't fear the 'discusted or appalled' person. Their words and actions are hiding a deep hidden desire and secret to do, and get away with, what you are doing. Since they see you as 'getting away with it' and have the concept of 'nobody can get away with it' - it is that concept that drives them to 'tell' to ruin your fun. Legally and physically, they can't do a thing, and they know it, which infuriates them even more. Enjoy their misery, and even better, enjoy your own individuality.

It good to see all the furs don't hate on babyfurs. I've seen a lot of hateful stuff from other furs online about how babfurs conduct themselves and how they are a plague that needs to be extinguished etc etc. I wish I knew more furs locally but what can you do? Maybe I'll get lucky and run into a few.

see any one who thinks b furs and are a furry or a ab or dl or any thing ammong that nature is a hippocrate reason why every fetish has some one who hates it and everyone who has a fetish says hey we dont earn ur hate and yet some furrys hate b furs but yet i know about 5400 b furs and not one of them hates or dislikes any fet or fet haters cause we at the bottom of the down wright weird know that we must not hate one another and i will belive that till i die cause its true

Im sure those criticizing have their own "strange" fetishes be it vore or feet or fat. Its annoying how people are so good at making us and them groups when they are so damned similar and any self reflection would enlighten them to that.
