Ambien And Sleep Walking In Diaper

wikipedia can have incorrect information on ANY article.. for example for two weeks, if you looked up infantilism it said the most common people to participate in it are women over 5'11. i know because i edited it to say that...

the thing is anyone can edit it at anytime and it can take anywhere from a day to a few weeks for that information to be taken down, so at any one time, you could be reading incorrect information.

wiki is a great starting off site, to get keywords to do a more reliable search, or to scroll down to the sources site section and see if those are reliable sources, but wiki itself is NOT a reliable source because it is peer edited, and because although it will say "need citation for this fact" a lot of people will still quote that fact, even if it is made up..

so when getting information about something important as say your health, wiki is not the best place to go.

I am not arguing, although it will probably sound like that, just discussing.

First, a study by NPR done in 2005 that found (for science related articles) that:

entries in ... Wikipedia are "not markedly less accurate" than those found in Encyclopaedia Britannica
. Granted that is not all inclusive and 2005 is live 1897 in interweb time, but still.

Second, the sites ran by the drug company only show what is leagly required, if a side effect is below a certain threshold then they don't have to report it in PR.

I think I trust peers better myself so the site you posted about people actual experiences sounds pretty good to me.

YIKES! NPR?!

The mere thought of anything NPR brings chills down my spine!

NPR is the media squawk box for propaganda of the socialistic democrats.

I'll take Wiki over NPR any day!

i'm not saying dont use, just check the sources, for hte most part use peer reviewed studies, the pdr, the drug website and websites such as the national association for (insert disorder name here) and along with the cdc and nha .. all together, dont just trust one.... and does anyone actually use an encyclopedia anymore?

also 2005 is a LOONNNGGG time ago in the way of the internet and the progression of wiki since then...

Ambien is a prescription sleep aid. They gave me that stuff when I underwent a sleep study. I was wired to all sorts of electronic devices.

From what I remember, one of the warnings, with regard to Ambien, is that it can become habit forming so be careful.

Okay the info that comes with Ambien states that you can sleep walk, mentioning people sleep walking but having sex, talking on the phone, eating and driving while asleep! I've also checked here that others mention this but wondering if anyone has actually had this happen to them. Warning if you live with others who don't know about your diapers to be warned.

So I'm about to go to bed and take Ambien for the first time. I wonder how 'smart' I'll be if I start walking around. I figured I would lock the door but I may be at a level where I know just to unlock. So I'm going to lock the handle and wrap a hand towel around it and secure it with handcuffs. Then I'll hide the key on myself.

I wear diapers every night and wet too. I get to bed and start waking up around 2:30 and then by 5 I have a real hard time sleeping. Since last week it's been real bad so I went to the Doctor today.

Well I hope I get a full 7 - 8 hours of sleep uninterrupted and a soaked diaper. Doing all this but keeping myself locked up in my room!

Well, here goes, bedtime!

Haha go phil! I agree about NPR being a socialstic squawk box! As far as the ambien discussion I really think it would be more of a fun drug if it made you into a zombie like state. Hopefully the results will get better and you won't be waking up at 5:30 am and it'll put you to sleep faster

I take Ambien on / off. I used to take it Monday through Friday, chill out on the weekend. Five months of that and I was good. Now, 30 pills last me a year.

I have no problems taking it either. I used to live in a squad bay (military) for the first five months, and if I was doing something funny, I'da heard it. :) Although, with the first Ambien, I would wake up somewhere in the middle of the night, be sorta concious for five minutes, then fall asleep. The newer Ambien is supposed to combat that.

I'm not locking myself up anymore since I don't seem to be an Ambien Zombie.

I don't have any side effects. I simply get up to 7 hours of sleep. I wish it could keep me sleeping a little more. Maybe when I contact the Dr. after my 15 day supply, he may cut me off but maybe he can give me the CR version, for a few more hours more of sleep. The minimum for me is 7 hours but I like a day or two out of the week for an hour or more extra to recharge.

The drug is cheap enough so I wouldn't mind becoming dependent! As originally posted, I'm pro drug right now because of the miracle of Lexapro! The sh** going on in my life now might might have me writing my suicide note instead of writing this, so GO-GO drugs!

Conservative Radio but they are owned by socialists and allow liberal politicians to spew garbage {lies} via commercials. Ex. scientifically defunct global warming. BTW, NYC is having its coolest summer since when Lincoln was President.

Poor Al Gore, needs to reinvent his snake oil. Oh yeah that Al Gore, the inventor of the Internet!

Phil

Are there any news sources in america that are not socialistic squawk boxes?

It is all propaganda anyway (no matter what station) they keep us fighting amongst ourselves as a distraction.

That is why they changed it it 'Climate Change' Phil. All these idiots want the cap and trade tax on carbon emissions; guess what you exhale? CARBON dioxide. Once the legal framework is in place to start taxing industry then they will move to livestock..... then watch out.

I know they changed the name and they will probably change it again but whatever they call it's still BS. Yeah they said Mars was getting hot, damn NASA for sending SUV's to Mars!

BTW, old news, this Is Al Gore's plan to make money. He has ownership or some financial interest in a French Company that would be selling carbon credits.

The Propaganda might be partial true about conservatives, please keep in mind conservatives and Republicans are different types, ex. George Bush.

The Socialist DemoGods that control out country now are pure evil to what America stands for. That being our right to freedom, choice and small government.

To me Obama, Pelosi, Reed and the babbling idiots Biden and Frank are traitors to what this country was built on.

I am have come to the conclusion that all politicians, republicans and democrats, are the same. They will say whatever is needed (and that is their real talent, knowing exactly what *needs* to be said) to get into office and then serve whatever interest that are servants of. Sure they will 'put up the good fight' on occasion to continue the ruse, but when it really matters they are there, ex. Patriot Act.

One thing that really bothers me are the people (now democrats, was the republicans a while ago) that say that you as a citizen have *no right* to question the president. Apparently they have forgotten that the president is (supposedly) there to serve our interests, not the other way around. In a way I think we are in a more dangerous situation than a monarchy because we almost have one, but are under the delusion that we are free.

Good god! Don't we already have a political wank-thread? Can't we keep those senseless arguments there? I know that you guys hate Obama/Liberals or Bush/Conservatives but that endless namecalling really doesn't have to permeate this whole forum.

BACK ON TOPIC:

No matter what, be careful with Ambien. It can mess you up, and badly, as it did for me, and it can be a savior to you, as it is for some other folks in this thread. Just, if you need it, talk to your doc, try it out for a week or so, and if it affects you badly, stop using it.

You would be better off taking the generic Zolpedium (sp). It is the part of Ambien that make you drowsy. There are other things in Ambien that may be contributing to the side effects. When I was using the generic version I had no issues. I would take half of a 10mg pill. My wife said if the house imploded I would have slept through it. I would sleep for 6 or 7 hours on the half dose, and feel good in the morning. No reports of my wandering the house or anything else.
