“I could do it if I was bigger…” he said knowing he used to be able to pick up her easily. Now she probably could manipulate him. He stopped and sat on his padded bum. “They grow up fast Janet, enjoy it while you have it.” Karen said not knowing Janet’s true intentions.

“So you’re gonna have big girl pants? You don’t wanna stay in diapers?” He asked kinda wanting someone in diapers like him. He felt embarrassed that she was about to get promoted to underwear and he wasn’t in pull-ups. He crawled after her pushing the train. His pamper was bulky and it was hard to do anything but crawl so she was moving a lot faster than him. “You so fast!” ”There’s something about messy diapers I guess. Amber loved hers, I still think she does. Diapers are okay but if they want to go to school they’ll need to be out of diapers. Little Jon should be ready in a few years before kindergarten.” Karen said trying to explain it to the new mom not knowing her little Jon was going to be in diapers for a while.

Jon looked up at amber and smiled. “You went potty. That’s cool.” He said sarcastically. “potty training is hard.” Karen said as she walked with Janet back to their cookies and drinks. “Amber sometimes runs off to poop in a corner if I don’t pay attention. I bet Jon loves his diapers almost as much as Amber used to.”

“No, she’s making me feel stupid and that it’s normal to use my diapers.” He said as she rocked. Jon could feel his daughter moving in his wife’s belly. “Why can’t you let me be bigger.” He asked as she rubbed his back while holding him close.

Jon followed her around not making train sounds but pushing the train none the less. "I no wanna wear a dress. I a boy!" He said as he followed around his room. "Yeah, the anti-social thing is something I really dont need to worry about my two girls. They are so outgoing. I think it is good you want to make a positive change for Jon. You are such a good mother Janet. Speaking of being a mother, I think I should ask Amber if she needs to potty. Do you think we can leave Jon alone or would you like me to bring him down to you before I take Amber?"

Jon rolled his eyes and took the train from the giant toddler. "What we playing Amber?" He asked as he looked up at her. He blushed as she was looking at his diaper. "I not messy." He said as he had a feeling she was checking that. "I think that is a great idea Janet, next time I can have megan go over with some older kids. I do think Amber will teach Jon to play. Jon does need to be more social and I think exposing him to kids more and more will help. Especially since he will be a big brother soon." Karen said.

Jon looked up at amber from his seated position. “Why you tell on me for being pee pee?” He asked trying to do his best to sound like a baby. Amber looked so tall compared to him it really freaked him out still. “Well Janet he’s still a baby. You said Jon is one right? Babies really don’t become too social for another few months. I do think it’s good you’re socializing him and I’m sure Amber and Megan will help him learn. Ambers great with babies despite her young age. I always get positive complements from the daycare workers when she goes there.” Karen said handing Janet some water and a cookie. “For changing a diaper you deserve a cookie.” She said with a wink.

Jon looked up at Janet as she removed his diaper. He didn’t want to say anything but he gave facial expressions to his giant wife showing he was annoyed with her and Amber. When Amber said she was too big for diapers Jon blushed and looked away. He could feel Janet smiling knowing how embarrassing this was for her little husband. “I wanna go back to playing.” He said still not making eye contact with his wife or Amber. He crossed his arms and waited for a new diaper as Janet cleaned his diaper area with a wipe.

“I don’t wanna.” He said crossing his arms looking up at her as she stood over him. He blushed seeing the larger girl looking down at him. He saw her pull-up was dry while he was wet. Jon looked down to see his diaper was yellowed in the front. “It’s a date, and my husband bill? He’s always traveling, he should be back this weekend for a little. I sometimes wish he could stay but we need the income and I love being a stay at home mom. How about your husband Janet? Where is he? Or do you not have one?” Karen asked.

“I’m not a baby, I’m a big boy.” Jon mumbled under his breath as Amber began to play with the brightly colored plastic train. He looked down and felt warmth in his diaper. He blushed as he realized he had peed his pamper in front of the three year old. “Oh honey don’t worry about not giving one or the other attention. They’re babies and they just want to enjoy being with you no matter what. Mommy’s need a break too which is why I think you either need your husband to come back or for you to get a nanny.” Karen said smiling softly as she looked at Janet. “Once you’ve had your baby we can do wine night and I’ll have a babysitter for the girls and your two. Think of it as a celebration. Mommies need adult time too because we know that babies don’t get it.”

Jon couldn’t believe he was stuck in a room with Amber while Megan was being treated like she was older and better. He glared at Janet as she left him and Amber in his room. Naturally, Amber went over to look at the toys while he sat there looking at her. She was so much bigger than him and it felt embarrassing. She also had pull-ups which was also humiliating. In the living room the next door neighbor smiled (did we give her a name?). “Well as friend and fellow mother I have a sixth sense when someone needs a pick me up. Amber was talking about seeing Jon again, she seemed to enjoy not being the littlest girl on the block. I’m doing okay, my husband is on travel much like yours seems to be.” The woman said taking a drink of the juice she brought over. “Why feeling down hun? Anything else I can do to help? I can take Jon for a little, I’m sure Amber would love that.
